Compile data from E070, E071 and E071 and download in excel

Hello Experts,
I am reading all records from E070 and then reading corresponding entries in E071 and if customizing then in E071K. since data is huge I would like to work in pages. Or what would be the best way. After reading and arranging data in combined format in another internal table I want to save it in Excel file. But if work in pages how can I append the file again and again. Also is there a way to save this file on application server? What could be the fast way to execute!

Hi,
As far as my knowledge, below are the Suggestions.
1. You need to declare a special Excel download button(New) in the GUI status of your report.
2. handle the above Button Functionality in the User command of your ALV report.
3. For handling the data: In the User command,,,
Loop at the Final Output table, Inside the Loop, check for the entries in the Selection screen Month Entry & Filter the data into another Table.
4. Download the above data in to the Excel file by using custom Download FM's.
Ex: FM: GUI_DOWNLOAD
Note: Also use F4_FILENAME for asking the user for the Path to download excel file.

I have a Palm Tungsten E handheld which just died.
Luckily, all my data is backed-up on my Palm Desktop V4.2.1.
I just bought an iPod-Touch, so I would like to easily transfer
all my data (Addressbook, Calendar, etc) from the Palm Desktop
on my Mac (OSX 10.5) to the equivalent Mac applications
(Address Book, iCal) which will then allow me to view and update
them on my iPod-Touch.
How do I easily transfer data from Palm Desktop to iCal and Address Book?

Hi David. The contact information is straightforward. Bring up your Address List in Palm Desktop, then select Export under file. You pick vCard as the format, and save the resulting file where ever. In Address Book, you then select Import --> vCards under file. You may need to edit things like birthdays by hand afterwards.

Presumably you are referring to the 'often heated' back-and-forth that sometimes goes on in the forums when people refer to ANY PL/SQL type using a term with the word 'table' in it?
Curious that you then show an example of a nested table!

The 'right term' for that is 'nested table'. The following would be an 'associative array' or 'index-by table'
type emp_tab is table of employees%rowtype INDEX BY PLS_INTEGER;
Those used to be called 'PL/SQL tables' or 'index-by tables' but 'associative array' is the current term used.
Associative Arrays
An associative array (formerly called PL/SQL table or index-by table) is a set of key-value pairs. Each key is a unique index, used to locate the associated value with the syntax variable_name(index).
The data type of index can be either a string type or PLS_INTEGER.
Since the Oracle docs often use 'PL/SQL table' or 'index-by table' it isn't unusual for someone asking a question to use those terms also. Technically the types may not be 'tables' but it's clear what they mean when they use the term.
In PL/SQL the term 'nested table' is still used even though the PL/SQL collection is not really a table. SQL does have nested tables where the data is actually stored in a table. Trying to query data from a view - ORA-01882 and ORA-02063 Errors

I tried to query data from a view that was provided by a colleague. This view works fine and gives correct data using PL/SQL Developer or SQLPLUS, but in SQL Developer, I get the following error:
ORA-01882: Time zone region not found
ORA-02063: preceding line from SYSTOOLS
01882.00000 - "timezone region %s not found"
* Cause: Specified reason name was not found
* Action: Please contact Oracle Customer Support
Vendor Code 1882
Where comes this error message from?! SYSTOOLS is the database link.
Can't see an obvious reason for this error.
OS is Windows 2000 SP4, SQL Developer is v1.1.1.25 BUILD MAIN-25.14

Retrieving data from TCP/IP in xml and displaying values?

Hey, I am using a program to retrieve data from a machine and outputting it in xml to the localhost. On a seperate computer, I am trying to create a client application to read the xml data from that IP host and just output the important values instead of the whole script. I am new to Labview and programming, has anyone written a program similar to what I am trying to accomplish? I searched for it but couldn't quite find what I was looking for. I really could use some help with trying to figure this out and appreciate any help or advice you could give me.

Where did you search? There are examples that ship with LabVIEW that show you how to do client-server applications using TCP/IP. Did you try those? You would need to add the parsing of the data you receive (i.e., the XML).

Sending Data from R/3 to Java and Java to SAP

Dear All,
I am working on a scenario in which I have to send data from sap system to Non-SAP system (Java System).
Now one way is that I made a RFC in my SAP system and Java can call it using JCO adapter. But In this case I am not able to understand how to go another way,means how to capture data or messages from Java.
Secondly I have searched and found that IDOC can help me lot in this process ,I am new to IDOCS but through R & D , I have made the IDOC and done the following steps:-
1. Segment Creation (WE31)
2. IDOC Types          (WE30)
3. Message Type     (WE81)
4. Linking Message type and IDOC type (WE82)
5. Create Distribution Model (BD64)
Now I am struck on 5th step , I am not able to distribute model when I distribute it I get the following Error
Target system AII_00_800                  RFC destination for synchronous communication (message type SYNCH)
                                                             Partner profile LS AII_00_800 SYNCH does not exist

JAVASYS is the logical system I created using SALE and ALL_00_800 is already there in LS.
I am not able to understand that my receiver system is NON SAP system so do I have to create logical system for it , and I have IDES system as sender system with only one client 800, what are all the configuration I have to do on SAP side.
I am also not able to understand where I will write my code to fetch data based on the input provided by NON SAP system as I will have to design IDOC for both Inbound and Outbound processes.

I have tried creating the partner logical system in WE20 and dine the following steps:

How to input data from labview to executable application and export the results back to labview

I have a simple function written in m file under Matlab enviornment,
function [c]=myadd2(a,b)
c=a+b;
I built it into a executable file (.exe), then I want to call it in labview and get the results.
I followed this tutorial and some other information on line:

But I didn't see any telling me how to get the Labview array data input to the EXE file and return the results data back to another indicator in labview.
Any one have some idea?

You probably need to include some command line arguments on your executable that would be the name of a file to get the data from. You could also include a command line argument telling that exe where to store the results.
I am not familiar with Matllab to give you advice on how specifically to do that with your exe though.

Create report by processing data from SAP tables and prepare output.And Before displaying the output, I have to pull the data from non-sap system which is readymade (It will come as flat file with similar fields as Report structure has) and finally display the records from both SAP and Legacy System by filtering duplicates.

Steps:-

How to edit data from an IDOC with errors and reprocess it

Hi,
We are working with SAP XI for communicate with an external systems by files (external) to IDOCS (SAP R/3).
Sometimes we need to edit the data from an inbound IDOC, because the external system generates wrong information and that can't be processed directly.
We had seen posts like:
But we wanna to do it with no ABAP editor.
¿Can we change the data from the IDOC in other way (transaction) and reprocess it?
We tried with /WE05, pushing EDIT button, but can't edit the data from the IDOC.

Keep Looking at forums i founded:
change idoc data
To change the Inbound IDoc,
1)Go to WE05/WE02, enter the Inbound IDoc number and Execute.
2)Double Click on the segment (Page Icon) where you want to change the Data.
3)In the Screen 'Display data record for IDoc' , Go to menu 'Data record' and click on 'Display - > Change'. Then it display a popup information 'Changes to the IDoc are written to the database' , then press enter .
To Process the Edited Inbound Idoc , execute the program 'RBDAGAIE' in SE38 and enter the IDoc number.

Not able to cif transiton data from APO to R/3 and from R/3 to APO

Hi:
I have made all relevant setting as per required for configuration of cif architecture in R/3 and in APO.I am able to cif master data from R/3 to APO but when I am transferring Planned Order from APO to R/3 or Sales Order from R/3 to APO I am not able to tranfer it .Even I am not getting any blocked q.
Even I am able to access remote login to both system by RFC Connection.
Please let me know how to debug it and solve it.

Hi Ashish,
Please try ciffing only one transactional data and then check on the application logs using t-code CFM1 or SLG1 in R/3 and /n/sapapo/c3 & slg1 in APO. This will give you idea where is going on wrong.
