I am worried about the old Iphones, couldn't we change them for another version? I have my Iphone 3, love it, but now I am feeling out of the picture. The phone works perfect...Is there any plan to do so? like recycling?
You can purchase any model (currently sold) iPhone that you desire.
What's the big deal or so complicated about figuring that out? -
I have compiled a program for a target after I added a new vi from NI_AALPro.lvlib. The addition worked fine on my development computer but gave me errors when run on the target.
The box displayed:
Missing subVI NI_AALBase.lvlib:1D Linear Evaluation.vi in VI NI_PtbyPt.lvlib:Linear Fit PtbyPt.vi
Missing subVI NI_AALPro.lvlib:MSE.vi in VI NIPtbtPt.lvlib:Linear Fit PtbyPt.vi
What do I need to do to bring the correct library into the transportable code?Hello,
I was unable to reproduce the behavior that you saw. I was able to deploy my application with the Linear Fit PtByPt without issues.
Could you attach the smallest piece of code that reproduces this behavior so that I can test it as well?

Sure, I'll be happy to try. However, all I really know about
it is what has been relayed to me over the years. I have no idea as
to how accurate it is or isn't.
I've been told that because Adobe (and formerly Macromedia)
are publicly traded companies, they have to be extra careful in
divulging any information that could impact the sales of their
stock. However, I balance this with the fact we regularly see
Microsoft (Who, unless I'm mistaken is also publicly traded)
divulgiing assorted features and whatnot.
I've also heard from time to time that it's more of a
"competitive edge" thing. Where if Company A divulges features in
progress, competitors may be able to somehow use this against
Company A by bringing their own software to market sooner wth the
features in place.
So I have to look at this and rather assume it simply comes
down to the company choice.

is there a way to deactivate a license to install creative suite on another computer?
Get him an iCloud account (he must be 13 or over): he can sign out of yours and into this one for iCloud, including email, calendars, contacts and Photostream.
He can stay signed into iTunes with your ID - there's no problem about iTunes and iCloud being logged into different accounts. -
Compiling a program with i486-mingw32-g++ with a static binary[SOLVED]
Hi,
I need to compile a program for win with whatever open cross compiler, I tried mingw32-g++, with the following command>
i486-mingw32-g++ main.cpp main.h `/usr/i486-mingw32/bin/wx-config --libs` `/usr/i486-mingw32/bin/wx-config --cxxflags` -o test.exe
but now my program depends on the dll lib mingwm10.dll which kind a sucks cause my goal is to have one executable file.
Is there any other compiler or a command switch to make a static binary ?
Last edited by gnu_D (2009-08-10 11:07:59)Ok, I did searched that, and I come up with this.
Which means I need to remove the -mthread option, there is only one problem, if I compile like this>
i486-mingw32-g++ `/usr/i486-mingw32/bin/wx-config --libs` `/usr/i486-mingw32/bin/wx-config --cxxflags` -o test.exe
then I have to expand the command like this>
i486-mingw32-g++ main.cpp main.h -Wl,--subsystem,windows -mwindows /usr/i486-mingw32/lib/libwx_mswu_richtext-2.8-i486-mingw32.a /usr/i486-mingw32/lib/libwx_mswu_aui-2.8-i486-mingw32.a /usr/i486-mingw32/lib/libwx_mswu_xrc-2.8-i486-mingw32.a /usr/i486-mingw32/lib/libwx_mswu_qa-2.8-i486-mingw32.a /usr/i486-mingw32/lib/libwx_mswu_html-2.8-i486-mingw32.a /usr/i486-mingw32/lib/libwx_mswu_adv-2.8-i486-mingw32.a /usr/i486-mingw32/lib/libwx_mswu_core-2.8-i486-mingw32.a /usr/i486-mingw32/lib/libwx_baseu_xml-2.8-i486-mingw32.a /usr/i486-mingw32/lib/libwx_baseu_net-2.8-i486-mingw32.a /usr/i486-mingw32/lib/libwx_baseu-2.8-i486-mingw32.a -lwxregexu-2.8-i486-mingw32 -lwxexpat-2.8-i486-mingw32 -lwxtiff-2.8-i486-mingw32 -lwxjpeg-2.8-i486-mingw32 -lwxpng-2.8-i486-mingw32 -lwxzlib-2.8-i486-mingw32 -lrpcrt4 -loleaut32 -lole32 -luuid -lwinspool -lwinmm -lshell32 -lcomctl32 -lcomdlg32 -lctl3d32 -ladvapi32 -lwsock32 -lgdi32 -I/usr/i486-mingw32/lib/wx/include/i486-mingw32-msw-unicode-release-static-2.8 -I/usr/i486-mingw32/include/wx-2.8 -D__WXMSW__-fno-rtti -o

Compile Add-On for SBO 2005 and 2007
Hi All,
I am looking for a document that I downloaded a while ago on steps how to compile add-ons for SBO version 2005 and 2007 on the same machine. I don't want to run both versions (I can be running either) just want to be able to compile add-ons on both version 2005 and version 2007 on my local machine. I also don't want to use virtual machine or something like that.
Thanks for the help,
AdeleHi Adele,
usually it is enough to change the .dll reference in your code and recompile it.
you can also decide which diapi connection you use

Removing support in Flex framework for compatibility version < 3. We won't support compatibility-version 2 or 2.01 anymore. We only keep compatibility-version for one full release, so for Flex 4, we only support compatibility-version = 3.x.
This should reduce our code-size some as we no longer need this old code. I didn't clean up the compiler's support for compatibility-versioning as it didn't seem worth the effort.

Hi,
I did some code and when trying to run the jar file in another computer i have the problem that the code was compiled in mine with version 1.6 and the other computer has java version 1.5.
Is it possible to compile a jar file for older versions?
Please help,
Rodo.Here's an example of how flaky the -source and target flags are. This code compiles and runs fine under 1.5 (without flags):
import java.io.*;
public class VersionExample {
public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException {
PrintWriter out = new PrintWriter(new File("test.txt"));
try {
out.format("%s%n", "woops");
out.flush();
} finally {
closeIt(out);
static void closeIt (Closeable stream) {
try {
stream.close();
} catch (IOException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}Now supply flags -source 1.4 and -target 1.4 and you get one error message:
path...\VersionExample.java:7: cannot find symbol
symbol : method format(java.lang.String,java.lang.String)
location: class java.io.PrintWriter
out.format("%s%n", "woops");It seems to be noting that format() was introduced in 1.5, right? But what about interface Closeable and constructor PrintWriter(File)? They were introduced in 1.5, too! Yet if you comment out line 7 above, the rest of the code compiles :-(. Odd...
edit: I see what the compiler was choking on: format's use of varargs. If you rewrite the offending line as
out.format("%s%n", new String[]{"woops"});it compiles with flags -source 1.4 -target 1.4 :-( -
Hello,
When CC updated to the 2014 version lately, I found out that I have duplicate version of each adobe program, the previous ones I had and another version with 2014 added to it.
Can I remove the previous versions? I believe it takes space of my hard drive on Mac...Is it safe to remove the previous versions?
ThanksIlbra you are welcome to remove the previous version if you no longer have a need for it to be installed. You can find more details on how to uninstall the software at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.

my daughter is a college student. she needs to write and compile c programs on her mac for a class this semester. what is the best place for her to start to get the correct compiler etc. to use ? thanks
If you know that you will not be asked to design GUI interfaces, and the C programming course will adhere to command line compilation environments, then get the Xcode command-line developer tools, and skip the extra complication of Xcode until you absolutely need it. Apple has kicked GNU C to the curb and is rightly so, using Clang/LLVM compiler technology.
Sign up for a free Apple Developer account using your Apple ID, and then visit the Mac Dev Center, and towards the bottom of the page, you will see additional downloads. Click on the associated, all down loads link. Know your OS X version beforehand, as the command-line tool releases are tied to general operating system versions, and the most recent Xcode version. That said, there are currently two March 9, 2015 command-line tools for Xcode 6.2 — one for OS X 10.9 Mavericks, and the other for OS X Yosemite. -
Upgrading sap programs from one version to another version
Hi All,
I want to know how to upgrade sap programs from one version to another version,Please help me...
Regards,
Raj.The seriousness and the complexity of the upgrade is primarily dependent on the version of the older SAP system. The Upgrade from 4.6 -> 4.7 is relatively easier and faster than that of an upgrade from 3.0 -> 4.7.
Most of the <b>function modules</b> in the older system have been reworked and would be marked as obsolete in the target version. (This could be seen in EPC Error Analysis & warnings).For example Function modules like Upload, Download, WS_Download, WS_Upload,WS_File_Delete, WS_Filename_get, Popup_to_confirm_step etc. These obsolete Fm's can be easily replaced with Fm's like Gui_Upload,Gui_Download, etc. There are few other complex Fms for which you have to do through R&D to find out the replacements.
Apart from replacing obsolete Fms one has to correct those <b>syntax errors</b> that may occur in the target version. There is a lot of variations in Syntax standards across versions.
Further more many <b>transactions</b> would have been reworked. Some Fields would be missing in the old system or a field would have been made a Key-Field in the new version , some screens would be missing or would have been addded. Also some <b>Tables</b> would have been flagged as obsolete and we need to find replacement for those obsolete Database tables.
It would be wise to do a R&D for all the programs in the system before Upgradation. This would really give us an idea about the complexity of the task and we can plan our Upgrade work effectively.
regards,
cartik
