Completion workflow error

Hi,
I am coming across an error while performing the role of "Comletion by Purchaser" for a complete freetext order "Describe requirement". When I add a vendor to Sources of Supply i see the below error.
"Neither the delivery point nor the Ship-from party is an organization".
The system is configured for a standalone scenario & the shopping cart status is "in your inbox", awaiting completion by purchaser.
Could you please help? Am I missing any settings?

1. logon to srm system via browser
2. enter user admin and password, this user should have admin rights, check role SAP_BBP_STAL_ADMINISTRATOR.
3. click on 'edit internal addresses'
4. create internal address and note down the address no
Now logon to srm system via sap gui
1. execute transaction PPOMA_BBP (Change attributes)
2. click on root organisation / line organisation
3. click on 'attribute' tab
4. enter 'address no' in atrribute ADDR_SHIPT and ADDR_BILLT
5. save the data.
again logon to srm via browser and try to create shopping cart and follon on transactions.

(Is it possible to reinstall only the wf part of the 11g database as to attempt a fresh installation, not only to drop the OWFMGR schema as the oc4j wf instance remains unchanged? Have searched in OUI for this option but did not find the setting for removing only the workflow for reinstalling)

Thank you very much for your help. Have reviewed the mentioned notes, but unfortunately no information was contained concerning the encountered error.
As to try and address the situation, have completely re-installed Oracle DB 11.1.0.6 and still the workflow installation ends in error. I have to mention that it is a completely fresh installation, no modifications were made to the base configuration.
For windows the installation steps reference only running the wfinstall.bat script with the appropriate parameters for installing Oracle Workflow, but unfortunately it appears that the installation documentation is lacking some necessary steps as on a out of the box install the process does not complete successfully. The mentioned notes: 266612.1 and 351873.1 do not contain the information for troubleshooting the encoutnered issue.
The environment: Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 64b Operating System with Oracle DB 11.1.0.6

Exit code: 6 Silent workflow completed with errors

I'm trying to create a silent install package for Dreamweaver
CS3. I followed the steps listed in previous listings and created a
application.xml.override file and run the setup.exe with the
--mode=silent and the --deploymentFile=deployment.xml. After the
install is ran, I get Exit code: 6 Silent workflow completed with
errors and notice that the Adobe add ons are installed but no the
actual Dreamweaver application. Anyone have ideas on resolving this
and getting the install to work properly?

Looks like the first two warnings are security level warnings meaning that your silent install will not grant the correct security level for what ever reason. I suspect it needs admin level maybe?

Outlook error when completing workflow task.

Hi,
Outlook error when completing workflow task. I am receiving a "This task could not be completed at this time" error message in Outlook 2010 when completing a SP Approval workflow by using the "Open this Task" button
in the ribbon.

Workflow error in ChaRM using Group Approval

Hi,
I am using the Group Approval in ChaRM's requests for change transactions, as explained in detail in Michael Vollmer's blogpostNew ChaRM Feature with SP 10: Enhanced Approval Procedure Functions
I am also using the workflow crm_rfc_aprv (WS17100016), which sends out workflow tasks during the approval procedure.
Since I have assigned organizational units to my approval procedure, I always receive an e-mail from the Workflow User with title "Workflow 12345 set to status ERROR" for every ticket.
This is because somewhere in the code behind the workflow, a user is searched based on the business partner in the approval step. But an Organizational Unit is never linked to a user, you cannot assign the BP Role "employee" to an organizational unit.
It would be nice if the workflow could send workflow tasks to all the users assigned in the organizational model to the organizational unit. But currently, I am most concerned with getting rid of the workflow error e-mails. I really don't want to get an e-mail for each and every ticket.
Does anyone know if there is a way to solve this? Maybe some way to link an organizational unit to a (dummy) user anyway?

Yes, my organizational model is maintained.
There are three BP's + Users assigned to the organizational unit.
The SP10 Enhanced Approval Procedure completely works, those three users are able to set the approval for the "Center of Competence" organizational unit to "approved" in the RfC ticket.
However, the workflow behind it never goes looking in the organizational model. It just sees "business partner 632", and checks only the data of BP 632, and doesn't find a user on it. So the workflow goes into error, and sends a mail about it to me...
For approval step 1 everything goes as normal, there is a specific person assigned to the step, the workflow finds a user on the person's business partner, and sends a workflow task / mail to that user.
Below are screenshots of tx PPOMA_CRM, the approval block in the RfC ticket, and the correct and error mail as seen in the tx SOST list.

OWB Workflow Error

I have some workflows designed using OWB. We have automated them using Cron. The jobs run fine everyday, provided the client is connected to the OWB design center and the listener. If for some reason the client is not logged into design centre, the entire job just hangs. When the client connects back to the design centre, the job terminates with the following error:

It looks like you are launching the workflow with an item key that you already used earlyier.
The item key must be unique!

DAC ETL tasks Completed with Error Code 36331

Dear Sir,
I have an execution plan task completed with error code 36331.
I know it must be somthing wrong with the workflow.
We are using BI APPS 7.9.5 with Informatica 8.1.1 SP4 on Windows Server 2003.
I don't understand is why DAC didn't fail the task for this error code?
How can I get to fail the task for such error.

Resulting in confusion for business users to resolve.
Old Workflow errors that have been resolved appear to have been resent and sent to the wrong people. Claims Workflow messages are being sent to Customer Service, etc. only thing is we know the user who had changed.

How are emails being sent to users about errors in already processed workflows?
Not by the workflows, they've already been completed. Do you have a custom job running periodically that looks for errors?
Check SM37. Also make sure these mails aren't coming from a Test system.
Could you give an example of one of these mails.

Workflow Issue - Delivery address XML Reference workflow - Error

Hello All,
I am an ABAP developer, with very limited knowledge in Workflow, and I am stuck with an ongoing issue for quite sometime. We have a scenario where we need to a workflow triggers for a specific UNDATED sales order lines (identified by values in VBAP-Zfield ) in R/3 box, and it carries an XML request (probably mails it) to a SAP CRM destination, which would now update some CRM tables and generate a Call list in the SAP CRM box. This is one flow that used to be fine, but has stopped working since the past few months may because of some change, which is not yet identified. as multiple projects are working on the same boxes.
To elaborate -
1 - We have a SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 Idoc creating the SO, where in, based on a CUTOFF date condition, (if it is in the past), a VBAP-ZFIELD for the corresponding line is set to a value (08).
2 - This event is expected to trigger a workflow for the Undated order/Delivery resolution , which would then create an XML doc for the SO and send this across to CRM box
3 -This will then update a Ztable. This will be handled by a batch job in CRM to generate a call list.
Now we are facing a problem in the second step here, where in the activity - 'BCKGRD: Create XML_DOC for SO: xxxxxxxx' is completing successfully, but having a failure in the next step - 'Delivery address XML Reference workflow - ERROR'

Agree with Ronen....no mail recipient or from 10 records of mail recipient - one record is empty.
Try to find out the intended email recipients....any data change there might have resulted in errors since few months. Maybe, some position got vacant, some config table to get the recipients got changed.....

For an active user (non-termed) on an expense report that required a receipt it is getting an error in the workflow. The expense report completed and has an owner. The receipt was never received. Purchaser completion workflow

Hi Guys
We have the requirement that the user selects the custom check box in the shopping cart to send the cart to the purchaser. After purchaser completes the cart it should go to the requestor. Once requestor accepts the changes the N-Level approval workflow should trigger.
We could not find a way to call the custom field in the Purchaser completion workflow (WS14000044).So we have created a custom business object called ZBUS2121 so that the custom field (check box) can be called in the container of the object in start conditions of the workflow (WS14000044).Then defined the start conditions such that when the check box is checked the completion workflow gets triggered.
But the workflow is not triggering and getting the error message "Approval worklflow is ambiguous. Inform system admin".
It seems the start conditions of purchaser completion and N-level Badi are clashing.
Did anyone developed such custom logic in the purchaser completion workflow?
Can anyone tell me how to define start conditions in Purchaser completion workflow and N-Level BADI ?

Thanks for your continuous support. Appreciate your help.
I did maintain "General Task" for TS14007938. Then the cart gets into requestor's inbox.
Now the problem is the requestor is not able to edit the cart. When click on the description nothing opens up.
The description of the cart in the requestor inbox says "Your shopping cart was processed by the buyer. please check it"
I have some other carts that were rejected by the approver.Those carts I am able to edit them. Their descriptions shows "Your SC was rejected by approver. Pleas edit it"
Is this because the description says "....Please check it" that I am not able to edit the cart? It si strange.
Also I observed "No administrator found for the task" in the WF log. Wher should I define the administrator for the task?

SharePoint 2013 site collection 'upgrade completed with errors'

Hi All,
I am in process to upgrade SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013 with all steps as mentioned in TechNet.
I was able to get all the SP2010 UI in SP2013 environment. However, when I navigated to top level site and clicked on “Site
Collection health checks”. In SP2010 environment I never used (as Farm Admin) any Video content type. It belongs
to out-of-the-box "digital asset content types" and cannot be deleted.
Therefore I changed the name of Video to our department name like "Video - Company" and ran the site collection health check again. This time there was no conflict for content types.
After ran the site collection upgrade I got following error.

Thanks for your reply and pointers.
I did follow the steps as mentioned in the links above. I used some third party solutions but not for any Video solution. I was able to successfully migrated the SP2010 (WSS_Content) to SP2013 (WSS_Content) environment a few weeks back with exactly same
third party solutions and no site collection error:
I renamed the default and out-of-the box video site content type as shown:
I ran the "Site Collection Health Check" and did not receive any error as in my second screenshot.
But, after upgrade the Site Collection Upgrade and got the same errors.
I don't know if there is any SharePoint Server 2013 patch gave this error as I keep run the Windows Server 2012 (not running R2) and SharePoint Server 2013 regularly.
Can suggest how to resolve this error?

Please post the details of the application release, database version and OS.
Can you find any errors in the OPP log file?

History Report of All the Completed Workflow

We have a requirement of generating the history report of all completed workflows in a month.
Where is the History data stored for all the workdflows. Is it in the Database tables or just in Workflow reports?
How can this be extracted for above requirement.
I know there is an iview for providing the history of a particular Workflow instance. Is there anything available for multiple WF instances.
Please help.

Amber,
I think you can use server logs for this purpose and also there is a status=completed in workflow tab in DM.
But exact thing is log file where you can see triggered and completed workflows.
