Complex swf/xml structure with "donwload updated files" ?

Hello to all, sorry for my bad english.
i have a complex structure of swf + xml structure. something like 200 files.. i was wondering if is it possible to create an air application for install all this package on a client and then check is some file of the structure is updated on the server and then after a user confirmation download and replace those files.
if is it possible someone could give me guideline for develop this application?

AIR doesn't support incremental updates. Any update package is a full install.

yes, you can use one xml instance with an if-statement, but
it's easier and cleaner to use different xml instances and
different parsing code for each xml file loaded that has different
structure.

File Content Conversion : Recordset Structure with * not reading file

we have the following problem.
we implemented a scenario as sown in this blog
/people/venkat.donela/blog/2005/06/08/how-to-send-a-flat-file-with-various-field-lengths-and-variable-substructures-to-xi-30
but there is a problem.
If the file structure is declared as :
Header,1,Items,*
then the adapter does not even read the file from the directory (so I assume that for some reason the file structure is not as expected).
If on the other had the structured is declared as :
Header,1,Items,3
everything works.
Obviously though, this is not satisfying since we need variable cardinalities.
Here is an example :
I have a specific file in a standard directory, called xi_input.
The file is edited straight into that directory, so there can't be filename errors etc.
If the file is left empty :
Nothing happens . No message of any kind in sxmb_moni/monitoring xml messages .
If the file contains the following (data is random) , where 'H' is the key for the header and 'I' is the key for the items :
H 20060403 16 3 316001 kapou lalla morellala 20060403 F3 23
I 277101010 2
I 277101011 3
I 277101012 4
There are to cases :
if the file structure is declared as :
Header,1,Items,*
Then nothing happens .
If on the other had the structured is declared as :
Header,1,Items,3
everything works .

Only that they don't look very helpful. From this I only understand that the data in my input.dat file is not in the format expexced.
I Have configured key fields as :

XML Validation with multiple XSD files (referenced)

Hello,
I know that XML validation with version 7.1 is possible now. However I was provided with a set of XSD files that have references to each other and need to be placed in a hierachical file system order so that references can be resolved.
An element <xsl:include schemaLocation="../../baseSchemas/baseSchema.xsd" /> is used for example. How can I handle that for XSD validation in PI? Can I create the same folder structure or do I need to put all XSD files in one directory and change the import manually?
But most important question: Is it possible it all to use more than one XSD for schema validation?

I had encountered such case in a project.
I was given 3 files. One main file and 2 others called Schema1.xsd and Schema2.xsd.
This happens because your data type is not in single namespace, but is being referred across namespaces and software components.
I am assuming that you have read the How to Guide for XML validations on PI 7.1
Best way to do this quickly is as follows.
1. Enable XML validation at adapter engine in the sender agreement.
2. Post a message using HTTP post. (http://sappihttpclient.codeplex.com)
3. Check communication channel in runtime workbench. There will be an error saying which is missing at what path.
4. Create the path mentioned and place the file at that path.
5. Repeat steps 2,3,4 for all the files.
When you are done with this, you will get a proper validation error in case XML file is not correct. And remember to generate XSD from message type and not data type.

Filling an XML structure with data

Im about to write a program that shall do GL postings based on IDocs, using standard FM BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST.
The challenge is that the program shall return the results of the postings back to the sending system in XML-format.
The interface team has defined an XML/XSD/WSDL document containing the required structure:

I have tried to understand what to do by looking into several threads, but as I am quite a novice when it comes to XML, Im still a bit uncertain of how to solve this task.
Can anyone give an example how to solve this, preferably referring to the above described structure?

Moving directory with Software Update files from one server to another

Hi guys,
I have recently bought a Mac Mini to move on it my test system Mac OS 10.9 with Server 3.0, running on VM.
My question is:
Is it possible to move the Software Update packages/directory from one server to another, so I don't need to wait a whole week to have them all downloaded from the Apple servers?
I assume, if replace all the Software update fodder it is not going to work as there are some kind of index files elsewhere that will not accept that change.
I haven’t tried any migration assistant as don’t want to replicate the server.
Any suggestions, please?

for the record, i've installed os x server 3.0 on mvrx 10.9 on a 4-year old Intel Core 2 Duo mac mini with 500GB disks.
in my case, it's the almost 200GB of update files wasting what's left of my storage real estate to press for a solution.
tried to do what's suggested here, seems to work fine on my system, too. hope this helps.

Convert IDOC XML structure to flat file - and now?

we are working with input message ORDERS05 and want to convert it to flat file.
So we used the implementation description from "how to convert an IDOC-XML structure to a flat file....".
Looks like this is a standard procedure described here fitting for all IDOCs.
We followed the guide, making XI ready for Abap-Mapping, implemented the Abap class like described, added an interface mapping with source ORDERS05 to a mess.type dummy destination, added with type Abap-class the class implemented from the guide and completed the Int.Dir. implementation.
For comparism purpose we have two systems as receiver, one with a standard flat file with regular graph.mapping in XI, one with the Abap mapping.
Result:
Error description in SXMB_MONI:
Didn´t expect something like that! The IDOC was delivered successfully to the other simple flat file receiver.
Any idea what we made wrong (we are on SP17) or if there is a standard mistake you can do when following the guide?

I've got the same problem. He the solution in my case:
The problem is:
My IDOC has no element <STDMES>, but the method IF_MAPPING~EXECUTE from the 'HOW-TO Guide' does not check this situation:
el_element = idocument->find_from_name('STDMES').
ls_edidc-stdmes = el_element->get_value().
thows the exception.
Solution:
make shure that the field STDMESis set or change the method to:
el_element = idocument->find_from_name('STDMES').
if not el_element is initial.
ls_edidc-stdmes = el_element->get_value().
endif.

so we added the lync 2013 client found here to
our setup and its size 290 mb
after we faced some problems we ended up to install the update found here and
its size 86 mb
this makes the setup size bigger so our question is:
Where we can find the latest Lync 2013 client with latest update files included instead of adding
a new update files to the setup?

I do not think this is a complex XML structure. All that you need to take care is about the contexts. How ever it is not possible to give u the complete mapping here. If you have tried mapping already and facing some issues.. please put it here.. so that some one can help you.

In Infopath 2010 I want to generate a XML-element with C#.
I've got a XML-structure with following elements:
/my:meineFelder/my:gruppe1/my:gruppe2/my:unter/my:art
/my:meineFelder/my:gruppe1/my:gruppe2/ns1:FW1/MANDT
To fill the field "art" I use this code:

This works very well.
Problem: the code above do not work for the second field MANDT. Error: Error during Schema Validation.
/my:meineFelder/my:gruppe1/my:gruppe2/ns1:FW1/MANDT
I tried this:
writer.WriteStartElement("ns1", "FW1", myNamespace);
        writer.WriteElementString("ns1", "MANDT", myNamespace, "100");
        writer.WriteEndElement();
As you can see, the problem is ns1:FW1. How to fix it?

Rearranging XML structure

Noob question,
Can you rearrange an XML structure with XSLT or scripting?
Lets say I've got an clean XML structure like this:

          <Element_A_02></Element_A_02>
     </Element_A_01>
     <Element_A_03></Element_A_03>
     <Element_A_04></Element_A_04>
     <Element_B_01>
          <Element_B_02></Element_B_02>

     <Element_B_04></Element_B_04>
</Workbook>
Things got a bit messy and the structure turns suddenly to this.
<Workbook>
     <Element_A_01>
          <Element_A_02></Element_A_02>

          <Element_B_02></Element_B_02>
     </Element_B_01>
     <Element_A_03></Element_A_03>
     <Element_A_04></Element_A_04>

Can I go back tot the original XML structure with XSLT or scripting to find a tag and place it in the way like the original clean version?

Thanks for the reply, it's an clear answer.
I was hoping it could be done with XSLT and keep the text attributes, but maybe the script is an better answer I am looking for.
The main problem is that the structure sometimes scrambled up in a nun logical way (Don't ask why, thats's a long story ).
So what I need to do is to find the tag and place it back in the original state and it seems you're script is doing that.
I will look in to the script tomorrow, going to sleep now (it's 01:19 here).

Please let us know the Hierarchy of the structure to be created, is it one level only?
Could you please explaing what is the loop meant here?
SEG_55(loop) 0..1
SEG_55 0..9999
SEG_60-70(loop) 1..1
Please specify if there are any delimiters or what is the file format at source.
Or Try reading the whole content of the file then use a XSLT to create the desired structure, i think in XSLT you can easily try out the looping.

XML to complex/deep ABAP structure

Has anyone successfully used Function module
SDIXML_DOM_TO_DATA (& related SDIXML* Function modules) to convert XML string into complex ABAP structure?
I am using WAS 6.40 (ECC) and I was hoping that if the XML & the ABAP structure you pass as function module parameter do match in strcture, then this Function module should automatically convert (ie, de-serialize) the XML into ABAP structure - Without having to write any XSLT or ST (Simple Transformation) files !
Any ideas? Any other Function module? The ABAP structure I want to be populated is a "deep structure" with many levels and tables at various levels etc..
