@trevorbutler - Could you send us what version of Ant you're using and a sample of how you're using the <junit> Ant task? Additionally, can you validate that the example you gave for the JUnit output is from the <junit> Ant task and not the <junitreport> task? Could you also let us know which version of JUnit you used with Ant, just in case?
FWIW - The XML output that you see from running tests in JUnit via the <junit> Ant task is output that has been defined without specification by the folks at Apache Ant. There has been a lot of discussion on standardizing the output amongst the folks at TestNG, the Maven Surefire plugin and others, but I haven't seen anything standardized come out of that. Here is a wiki page that has some of that discussion http://wiki.apache.org/ant/Proposals/EnhancedTestReports. t's also important to note, that the aggregate results of the <junitreport> task contain a slight variation on the output produced by the <junit> task. Consequently, we have to emulate the lowest common denominator that we know will work with the tools out there that parse the XML output associated with an xUnit framework (e.g. - Ant tasks, CI server, etc). This being said, we rely on the community to keep us up to date with variations that we may have missed or for which need to update. It's not so much that we've decided to exclude any particular elements from the output, we just need help fine tuning as time goes on.
Thanks for the help.

Formatting OBPM Process Report HTML Format
Hi All,
We have developed few processes in Business Process Composer and generated the Process Report HTML format. We found these reports need to be formatted as per our business need and are looking a way to alter/modify the format/layout for these HTML reports. Can any one please suggest how do we configure/alter/format the HTML at source level.
Can any one suggest how to save the generated HTML report.

FL SUI Reporting XML Formatting
Has anyone had any luck with submitting 1st quarter SUI Reports to FL with the new XML format? We have applied a couple of the OSS correction notes and we are still getting errors from the transmission. Hoping to beat the reproting deadline. Any tips to offer?
For whatever reason, our SAP delivered form was not correct. We received this updated file format last week, modified the SAP form, and then copied it to a "Z" form. In addition, we applied the respective notes and have been successful in gettting the file to the State. We receive a "W40" message. We spoke with the State and this is not an issue as we receive a confirmation number.

FlexUnit report XML format deviates from that of JUnit
Folks,
We are starting to get some mileage from the CI support in FlexUnit4 - thanks to all for the work on this. Currently we are using the CI builds from the FlexUnit Hudson server: FlexUnit4-Flex3.2 Dec14-2009-10.11.11PM. Aside: We tried the RC 1.0, but it does not contain the CIListener SWC or the Ant tasks.
I am having issues getting our in-house CI testing system to process the XML reports generated by FlexUnit4. It was my understanding that FlexUnit4 produced equivalent XML report output as JUnit. However, even when using the debug Flash player, this does not seem to be the case.
Consider the following element from a JUnit produced XML report:
<testsuite errors="0" failures="0" hostname="myhost" name="com.services.publish.test.TestDAV" tests="1" time="7.0" timestamp="2009-04-27T18:00:18">
And this element from a FlexUnit4 generated XML report:
<testsuite name="com.commons.resources.ResourceLoaderTest" tests="9" failures="1" errors="0" skipped="0" time="0.0">
Notice the differences in the attributes specified by JUnit versus FlexUnit4. In particular, JUnit includes "hostname" and "timestamp" attributes, but FlexUnit4 does not. FWIW, FlexUnit4 includes "skipped" which JUnit omits.
Before I check out the latest FlexUnit4 source for the Ant tasks, I was wondering if developers could tell me if there is a reason for the exclusion of hostname and timestamp? In particular, timestamp is crucial for us due to the way our existing reporting dashboard has been designed.
Thanks,
Trevor@trevorbutler - Could you send us what version of Ant you're using and a sample of how you're using the <junit> Ant task? Additionally, can you validate that the example you gave for the JUnit output is from the <junit> Ant task and not the <junitreport> task? can any one help me with it????hi,,,
it seems OS package version conflict
Please check glibc and openmotif version (its responsible for reports)
and
Set the environment variable MALLOC_CHECK_=0 and bounce the Concurrent Managers
MALLOC_CHECK_ can be changed in two places :-
1. Add this to the $APPL_TOP/custom<TWO_TASK>_<HOSTNAME>.env
MALLOC_CHECK_=0
Then restart the concurrent managers and retest
2. Change it in the adovars.env file
Again bounce the concurrent managers and retest

XML format for input to BPEL process from client stub
Hi,
I have deployed SyncHelloWorld BPEL process as given in the tutorial in the BPEL Server. It is working fine. Now I am trying to invoke the process by creating a Java client stub . I created a stub using the Web-services wizard by specifying the WSDL of the BPEL. Now I want to know how to pass some string through XML document to the BPEL process.
I am using this code in the main method of the stub., but the value is not being passed to the BPEL nodes correctly. the output I am getting is "Hello "
and not "Hello XYZString". I think I am not able to form the XML document to pass as input correctly. Can anyone help.
Can anyone please help :
public static void main(String[] args)
try
SyncHelloWorldStub stub = new SyncHelloWorldStub();
// Add your own code here.
// Create an empty XML document
XMLDocument doc = new XMLDocument();
// Create an element
Element body = doc.createElementNS("http://xmlns.oracle.com/SyncHelloWorld", "SyncHelloWorldProcessRequest");
// Create the inner element
Element ip = doc.createElementNS("http://xmlns.oracle.com/SyncHelloWorld", "input");
// Create a text node
Text text = doc.createTextNode("input");
// Set the input parameter
text.setNodeValue("XYZString");
ip.appendChild(text);
body.appendChild(ip);
// Call the process. It returns a vector
Vector v = stub.process(body);
// Code to print the returned xml.
System.out.println("Received " + v.size() + " element");
Enumeration enum = v.elements();
// Walk through the vector and print out contents
while (enum.hasMoreElements())
Object o = enum.nextElement();
System.out.println("Returned a " + o.getClass().getName());
//If it is an element, print it out
if (o instanceof XMLElement)
XMLElement xml = (XMLElement)o;
xml.print(System.out);
else
System.out.println("Returned " + o.toString());
System.out.println("After executing : "+v.toString());
catch(Exception ex)
ex.printStackTrace();
This is the code for WSDL file for the BPEL process.

Also, while running the BPEL process from console, we can give the input as html or string. Can anyone give the me xml format of the input.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
DebojyotyYour last question shows that you might have solved this by now.
The xml document you are composing in java might not exactly be the xml input bpel excepts. The way to compare is first initiate a process by posting an html message, using the initiate tab for your process in the BPEL console. Check the box "Save as default input" before you send the html request.
Then again do an initiate from the BPEL console and select "XML Source" instead of "HTML Form". You will see the xml message you just have sent as html.
You might also want to test your java program with one of the many free soap clients available on the internet.

MessageFactory mf = MessageFactory.newInstance();
SOAPMessage msg = mf.createMessage();
SOAPPart sp = msg.getSOAPPart();
//create the header container
SOAPEnvelope se = sp.getEnvelope();
SOAPHeader sh = se.getHeader();
SOAPBody sb = se.getBody();
}catch(Throwable e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}and I want to get the empty header from this newly created SOAPEnvelop and add my own content into the header as well as the empty body.
I wrote the code by following the example from the jaxm api.
can anybody tell me any further information about the NullPointerException? -

Deliver a report in XML format and save it to local file system on the server
We have OBIEE 10.1.3.4 on Redhat linux. We want to have generate a report in XML format and saved it to the server's file system. Did not realize this is s difficult task. Basically
1) How to create a XML report? It is not listed in the output items of a layout template.
2) How to deliver XML the report to local file system. Look into the Delivery section of Admin page. FTP should be the best choice, but does that means that one need to install and run ftp server on the BI server box?
ThanksHi,
Since I still have problems on this subject, I would like to share on how it progresses.
Currently I have a problem of timeout in step "Truncate XML Schema" with the URL that I mentioned above.
The exact error is the following : 7000 : null : com.sunopsis.sql.l: Oracle Data Integrator TimeOut : connection with URL [...]
The connection test is still OK.
I tried to increase the value in the user's pref but there's no change. -

Large Report in XML Format issue
I am running an Oracle report with an output to XML but I am not getting all the the data. Is there a limit on how much data can be shown in an XML output? Is there a way to get large reports to show in XML Format? We are running Oracle ERS 12 on database 11g. Thank you
I wasn't getting an error at first but now I get the following error:
The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
Not enough storage is available to complete this operation.
I don't have this issue with any other format.
I was wondering how much storage is needed? -
Can a ibot send report in xml format? is it possible?
Hi,
When you choose an analysis and want to schedule it you have several option in the drop down menu; however, I have a requirement where I would need to send out the report in an XML format. Is that doable?
Thanks in advance for your response.Hi SaichandVaranasi,
Well, I need it as the report needs to be scheduled and sent out to a client via email; They use the xml to extract data from us.
As far as getting the static data to show the xml file, it is not working or may be i am unclear on this.
I have enabled the report links and from export i am able to get the xml file generated. Now if i copy the link of the xml output it points to my c drive. (C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\CCQABWMX\FX_SEF[3].xml)
Once i paste this link to a static view it does not generate the xml view.
in addition even this link is to work, how would it take in the dynamic variable for each day for example where the date range will be changing.
Am i doing it wrong?
Thanks for your suggestion btw. -

If any member have its solution so plz send it.

ZulqarnainHi Zulqarnain,
You have missing some information.
1. First create report in Report Builder.
2. Generate report in XML format.
3. Now using BI Publisher import XML format report.
4. Add required columns in MS Word with Add in options.
5. Now Save MS File with format rtf.
6. Now using XML Publisher Administrator report add information regarding report information and upload rtf file.
Have enjoy

Best option for MBA storage capacity
