Concurrent Parameter Disable
Hi ,
I have one parameter PARAM1 attached with a custom Concurrent program. This parameter basically takes an input like 'Yes' or 'No'. This concurrent program also has another parameter PARAM2 to process purchase orders. Now if we don't pass any value to PARAM2 then the program will run for bulk data. But if we want to pass any value then we will need the PARAM1 to process it manually.
My question is how to Disable the PARAM1 while the concurrent program is running for bulk data. I want to avoid human error so that when the program is running for bulk then it should not give you the option to provide data in PARAM1.
Thanks
Dishan
Based on this requirement "if the value of the param1 is null then the param2 should not appear", the following can be achieved:
- Have PARAM1 accept Yes/No/Null as values
- Enable PARAM2 for modification only when PARAM1 value is not null, clear if PARAM1 value is cleared
Definitions
- PARAM1
Value Set: AP_SRS_YES_NO_MAND
Required: As needed
- PARAM_DUMMY
Value Set: AR_SRS_NULL
Display: N
Default Type: SQL Statement
Default Value: SELECT 'Y' FROM DUAL WHERE :$FLEX$.AP_SRS_YES_NO_MAND IS NOT NULL
- PARAM2
Value Set:AR_SRS_VALIDATE_EXCHRATE -- Create a new one based on it if you need to modify validation parameters such as length and valid characters

Passing concurrent parameter to OS script
I have a printer driver that calls an OS script and I want to pass a parameter value to that script from a concurrent program that uses that driver via a specific style.
Is there anyway to reference the concurrent parameter? I'm already passing the filename to the script via $PROFILES$.FILENAME. Is there a similar reference to a parameter value that I could use?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
ToddHi Todd
I thinh this will only get the concurrent request id what he wants is to send the send the parameter to it.. Will it work.. I am not sure.. Just put my views thats all..

How to call user define data type as data type for concurrent parameter
Hi All,
i find some difficulty while creating the concurrent program.
i.e.
i have one of the parameter of table type i.e. user define data type at PLSql program
now i need to register same PLSQL program into oracle applications as concurrent program
but while i am creating Parameters for concurrent program
How could i define that user define data type at database level in oracle applications using 'Value set' ?
any one save me from this Problem
thanks and Regards,
sai krishna@cavaya.Don't think this can be done..
One way I can think of is to wrap your PL/SQL program under another procedure/package that can accept "normal" parameter, and use/register this wrapper instead of your original pl/sql program.

"-useLegacyAOT no" parameter disables ActionScript Sampler
I'm trying to profile my app with Scout on iOS but having trouble getting the ActionScript Sampler enabled.
If I use the legacy AOT to compile, the sampler is enabled, but if I want to compile faster, the sampler is disabled even if I have it set in the launch parameters.
Am I doing something wrong, is this a bug or is this a known feature..?
Thanks!HI Nimisha,
I have build ipa for my client mobile project code using using -useLegacyAOT yes , application works fine.
When using -useLegacyAOT no application crash runtime.
when I debug the code i got the root cause that the application crash when the following code execute
var cmb:CommandGroupBuilder=commands.asSequence()
Reference
Spicelib-Commands/CommandGroupBuilder.as at master · spicefactory/Spicelib-Commands · GitHub
org.spicefactory.lib.command.builder.CommandGroupBuilder
IOS8.0.2

-useLegacyAOT no(default)
Let me know the workaround

Try to connect the table with the "save FM". This FM should only execute, if it contains a text (via formula). After saving it should call the FM for displaying the selected record of the table. For initializing you can call the FM for displaying directly (use a guard condition).

JDBC reveiver channel has reached maximum concurrency
Hi Guys,
We have an XI environment with around 50 Proxy - XI - JDBC scenarios, all using the same JDBC receiver communication channel that has been set up to update a Microsoft SQL DB. It may be the case that some scenarios are running concurrently, and we get the following error in CC Monitoring:
"Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Channel has reached maximum concurrency (5,000 concurrent messages) and no free resource found within 5,000 milliseconds; increase the maximum concurrency level"
However, after some retries, messages are processed successfully at the receiver DB side.
After some research, I found out that I have to change Maximum Concurrency Parameter, in JDBC receiver CC configuration. Currently this is set to default value "1".
Do you have any ideas what value I have to insert ? Are there any other parameters e.g. in VA, that have to be changed in order to overcome this issue ?
Thank you.One more JDBC channel
Do not create another channel for the same DB/ scenario.....you will be increasing load on XI/ PI server for no use....and it wont help you either.....you will end up having one more channel fighting with other channels to get resources -

Bulk Override to enable "Generate Alert" parameter for monitors/rules
Hi Experts,
I am working on fine tuning Exchange 2010 management pack as per the monitoring requirement of the team. Most of the monitors have their workflow enabled but have the Generate Alert parameter disabled.
I was using Override Creator by Borris for enabling and disabling the workflows, but it doesnt help in creating override for Generate Alert parameter.
I almost have 700+ monitors or rule to be enabled for generating alerts is there any way i can do this using any script or any other tool?
Regards,
Prajul NambiarHi
GenerateAlert is the property of override same
as enable, you can apply override using below script and enable all monitors to generate alert.
Import-module operationsmanager
New-SCOMManagementGroupConnection
$mps=Get-SCOMManagementPack |?{$_.name -match "sql"}
$overrideMp= Get-SCOMManagementPack -Displayname "sql.Override"
$Monitors=$mps|Get-SCOMMonitor |?{$_.xmltag -eq "UnitMonitor"}
foreach($Monitor in $Monitors)
if($Monitor.AlertSettings.AlertOnState -eq $null)
$Target= Get-SCOMClass -id $Monitors[0].Target.id
$overridname=$Monitor.name+".Override"
$override = New-Object Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Configuration.ManagementPackMonitorPropertyOverride($overrideMp,$overridname)
$override.Monitor = $Monitor
$Override.Property = ‘GenerateAlert’
$override.Value = ‘true’
$override.Context = $Target
$override.DisplayName = $overridname
$overrideMp.Verify()
$overrideMp.AcceptChanges()
Note : you need to have override mp with name sql.Override

In R12 unable to transfer payroll data to gl
My company has implemented xx Legislation with Global HRMS Internationl,Oracle R12.
I have run all pre-payroll and Quick-pay for 3 employees also i have run Post payroll processes for all the 3 emps,
i.e.
Pre-Payment
Cheque Writer
Costing
Cost Break down report (able to see the account codes for all the 3 emps)
Transfer to SLA/Transfer to GL
My question is i have run the Transfer to SLA prcocess and the log file also shows that 3 assignments have been processed sucessfully.
when i go to GL Resp. i am unable to view/import the Journal using Conc. request Program-Import Journal.
as the parameter Ledger for conc. request "Program-Import Journal" says
"List of values contains no entries "
If i navigate to GL resp and then to Journal i am unable to query the Journal for Source=Payroll.
Also when i go to Journal >Import >Run
Source=Payroll
Ledger=List of values contains no entries (there is no valu in lov)
Selection Criteria=No Group Id
Can some one tell me why is the system behaving like this.
Is there any gap in my setups? If so please assist me.
Please note that the same happens if i run Transfer to GL process through HRMS Responsibility.

Edited by: 594647 on Sep 24, 2008 1:01 PMYes Sir i have mapped the Payroll Costing Segment and GL Chart of Account Segment
Navigation: Payroll>GL Flexfield Map
I have run the Cost Break down report and i can see the DR and CR entries in the report.
i am able to see the data in GL_INTERFACE table.
But when I am trying to Run a concurrent request Program-Import Journal through General Ledger Responsibility one of the parameter's (Ledger) LOV say that “List of Values contains no entries”
There are parameters that I must enter for Program-Import Journal concurrent request in order to run the process these are:
All parameters are Mandatory:-
Source=Payroll
Ledger=No Values
Group ID (Parameter disabled)
Post Errors to Suspense=No ------------------(Default)
Create Summary Journals=No ----------------(Default)
Import Descriptive Flexfields=No -------------(Default)

Informatica 9.0.1 Repository Service Shutdown Error when Running ETL in DAC
Hi All,
When I executed the ETL in DAC client for full data load, I got this error from log "PLP_LoyMemberTierMovementQtrAggr.log".
"Failed to connect to the repository on Host : hkhgc01dvapp01, Port : 6315. System Error (errno = 111): Connection refused.)"
Does it relate to the "Minimun Port Number" and "Maximun Port Number", I set both of them to 6315 in the node01's "Advanced Properties".

Could any one help, thank you very mcuh!
Best regards,
Ryanwhat you are describing does not sound like a mapping issue. It sounds more like a network issue or issue with your client/server services. Did you try to stop/restart all services. First see if you can stop/restart everything (DAC, INFA) re-open a new client connection. Then see if you can open the mapping and validate it. Once this is complete, try to run just the workflow standalone. If that is successful, restart the execution plan. Overall, it sounds like a server or connectivity issue, not a mapping logic issue. if this was helpful, mark the response as correct.

Hi all,
I made some changes in a mapping. I validated it and checked it in succesfully. When running the task in the dac, it gives me a unknow error. So i ran the workflow in the workflowmanager to see wich errors and warning he come up with. The mapping still fails. See the error log below.
I have bold 5 lines wich i think are important.
The first bold line is a little bit strange, cause a few rows below you see that he can find the parameters from the parameterfile
Anyone have a clue why the task failed? Hope someone can help... tnx in advanced.

-----Tnx for helping all... you all think is must be something with the parameter file?? This was what i did...
The parameter file was copied from the parameter files the dac has generated. This was from the folder: /ora0/app/dac1013/bifoundation/dac/informatica/parameters
The original file name was: ORA_R12.DataWarehouse.Custom_SDE.SDE_ORA_ProjectCostLine.txt (<connection_source>.<Connection_taget>.<informaticafolder>.<workflowname>)
I changed it to Custom_SDE.SDE_ORA_ProjectCostLine.txt (<informaticafolder>.<workflowname> )and copied it to the folder /ora0/app/ipc861/server/infa_shared/SrcFiles
The file i'm using is posted below.

Hi friends,
Im new to informatica OBIA DAC world and im learning it up to now. Im in the verge of performing ETL load for HR analytics.
I have a Oracle Source r12 instance with Oracle 11g database and my Oracle target database is 10.2.0.1.0. I need to perform an HRMS load from my source to target using Informatica. So, as of first step how will i need to connect and import source r12 instance hrms data's to my DAC to perform ETL inorder to load my target database.
Hope u understand.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
SaroDear Svee,
Thanks for the reply again, yes like you said i checked the custom properties of my Integration service
It is like below
Name: value
SiebelUnicodeDB: apps@test biapps@obia
overrideMpltVarWithMapVar: yes
ServerPort: 4006
SiebleUnicodeDBFlag: NoAs it is already set to 'Yes'.
For one of my failed Workflow "SDE_ORA_Flx_EBSValidationTableDataTmpLoad" in the workflow monitor i right clicked it and selected Get Workflow Log, in that i got those following details like

Trying to track down a MAJOR problem, I have a client that I support that runs 10.6 server and it is the mail server etc.. What is occuring is that AOL cannot consistently deliver email to our server... I get various types of messages in mail.log (paste below).. usually Timeout after CONNECT but sometimes Timeout after EHLO.... I have disabled greylisting and increased the default_process_limit to 400 in main.cf
My client is getting VERY angry because a big client of theirs insists on using AOL because that's all he knows.. We are NOT having any issues receiving mail from anyone except AOL.com I have (ugh) created a free AOL.com account and attempted to send messages, getting the same things. Once in awhile they do get through but mostly I get the below.
Appreciate ANY insight...
Log stuffs:

Postfix config file follows:
# Global Postfix configuration file. This file lists only a subset
# of all parameters. For the syntax, and for a complete parameter
# list, see the postconf(5) manual page (command: "man 5 postconf").
# For common configuration examples, see BASIC_CONFIGURATION_README
# and STANDARD_CONFIGURATION_README. To find these documents, use
# the command "postconf html_directory readme_directory", or go to
# http://www.postfix.org/.
# For best results, change no more than 2-3 parameters at a time,
# and test if Postfix still works after every change.
# SOFT BOUNCE
# The soft_bounce parameter provides a limited safety net for
# testing. When soft_bounce is enabled, mail will remain queued that
# would otherwise bounce. This parameter disables locally-generated
# bounces, and prevents the SMTP server from rejecting mail permanently
# (by changing 5xx replies into 4xx replies). However, soft_bounce
# is no cure for address rewriting mistakes or mail routing mistakes.

# delivery agent for local delivery. You need to update the
# local_recipient_maps setting if:
# - You define $mydestination domain recipients in files other than
# /etc/passwd, /etc/aliases, or the $virtual_alias_maps files.
# For example, you define $mydestination domain recipients in
# the $virtual_mailbox_maps files.

# - You use the "luser_relay", "mailbox_transport", or "fallback_transport"
# feature of the Postfix local delivery agent (see local(8)).
# Details are described in the LOCAL_RECIPIENT_README file.
