Condition to test for the browser closing/refreshing

I have an applet that rotates pictures in a html file. I have it in an eternal loop to keep it running. It loads fine, but if you refresh or try to close the browser, the browser locks. Without question this happens because the loop does not test for the browser closing or refreshing so the loop never stops. Does anyone have an idea of a Java condition to test for the browser closing/refreshing so I can stop my loop when these events occur.

The applets stop message should be called on a reload and/or a close. You could set a flag in your stop method that could be checked by a thread that actually sits and loops.
When the flag is set, kill the tread.
You should clear that flag in your start method.

Hi, the work around suggested above should put you in working mode in the meantime. However to help investigate the issue it is possible to analyze what is not loading or taking a long time by analyzing the network traffic or http headers of the Nunit web page.

Radius authentication for the browser-based webtop

With help of the radius-authentication module for apache (http://www.freeradius.org/mod_auth_radius/) and web-authentication it is possible to use radius-authentication for the classic-webtop. Has anyone got Radius authentication working for the browser-basedwebtop?

When changing the line <LocationMatch "/secure"> to <LocationMatch "/sgd"> the browser asks for a authentication and then a 'Not Found' page is being displayed.
When using the config-lines from http://docs.sun.com/source/819-6255/webauth_config_browser.html the login-page is being displayed normally and SSGD works.
The main difference I can find between the location /secure and /sgd is: /secure is a simple directory and /sgd is a JkMount to Tomcat.
Changing the JkLogLevel to debug gives the following info in the JkLogFile:

It seems that the JkMount is not being evaluated correctly after using the radius-authentication.

I got response from the Fat Bloke on the mailing list.
Adding the following line in the apache httpd.conf seams to help and resolved my problem:

These instructions are for a 4.2 SGD installation using SGD's third
party web authentication with mod_auth_radius.so (www.freeradius.org).
With 4.2 Sun didn't distribute enough of the Apache configured tree
to enable the use of axps to build the mod_auth_radius module, 4.3 is
better - Sun now install a modified axps and include files, I haven't
tried this with 4.3 yet though.
I built the mod_auth_radius module for Apache 1.3.33 (shipped with 4.2)
So, this is how we got this working with Radius (tested with SBR
server and freeradius.org server.)
Install SGD in the usual way.

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

How do I test for the presence of an active open document in Photoshop?

I’m new to Adobe scripting, and one of my first scripts deals with the activeDocument in Photoshop.
If there is no activeDocument, I want to display a message and terminate the script. My efforts
so far have been met with frustration. While developing the script in ExtendScript Toolkit,
I used the test expression "activeDocument in app", and everything worked as expected. And when I installed the script
in the Photoshop scripts folder and ran it from Photoshop with a document open, it also worked.
But when I ran the script from Photoshop with no document open, it failed.
Moreover, after that,the script failed when I tried to run it in ESTK.
I did some testing and found that my test expression, "activeDocument in app"
was returning true, even though no document was open.
Still in ESTK, I replaced the “app” with ”Application” in the test expression. That worked when
I stepped through the script. But when I tried to run it without stopping, it stopped at the
test expression, and displayed the error message, “Application is undefined.”
So how do I test for the presence of an open document in Photoshop ??

After posting this, I discovered the Photoshop Scripting Forum, and I found my answer there.—
I should have used “app.Documents.length” as my test expression.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

How to schedule Process Chain with Full Update for the past closed month

I have an HR-BN benefits transactional data extractor - http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/08/b01d3cf8aa101ce10000000a11405a/frameset.htm
One of the selection fields for that extractor is calendar year/month 0CALMONTH and it is a full update extractor.
SAP recommends running this extractor once a month after the month has been closed.
If I were to include this update/extract into my process chain, would it be possible to automate the process in a way where the process chain is scheduled to execute once a month (I know how to do that), but that also only pulls values for the past/closed CALMONTH (as if it had a variable value of which would be automatically set to the last closed month when pchain is run)? As I mentioned 0CALMONTH is one of the selection criterias in the infopackage for that extractor.
let me know how I might be able to do that.

For Calmonth selection in infopackage you can use the SAP-Exit OLAP Variable 0CMLMON (Last Month)
select Type "7" ("OLAP Variable")
and in Details of Type screen, Select OLAP Variable "0CMLMON" Which is SAP-Exit variable for Calmonth, that returns the last month from the current system-date.
If variable 0CMLMON is not active, you need to activate it from Business content.
Assign pts if helpful.

you have to dig deeper.
An idea is this one:
The red marked word is containing the unit - in a coded way. Somewhere in the LV help you can find the description of this coding (I remember a chapter on memory representations of all LV datatypes...). (There surely is an easier or better way - but the example is done quic&dirty.)
You can also format the number into a string and analyze the unit here...

They're still working on fixing that Bug - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=608589 - a fix for another Bug - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=613888 - landed earlier this week which might have fixed it. Unless you are willing to install a nightly Trunk which has the latest fixes, you'll have to wait for 4.0b10 for the fix.

But, can you try to use http://drmtest2.adobe.com:8080/Content/anonymous.f4v with locally hosted OSMF player? This content doens't require user/pass info.
I'm wondering that Google TV's flash player doesn't support prompt dialog.
http://drmtest2.adobe.com/AccessPlayer/player.html requires flash player 11. That's why it won't be loaded with flash player 10.x.

I am wondering how you created you unit test project. After you create the unit test, if you build the solution, could you get the test method in test explorer window?
