Condition type ICN3 is blocked in FTXP.

Somebody knows to tell me how can i do to active the condition type ICN3 in transaction FTXP? The line is black and i can´t do any changes. The line should be in blue, either the others. I don´t know what...

Hi,
In FTXP for ICN3 condition maintain  Tax Percent. Rate and just enter it will become active as in blue colour
This conditions are apear in FTXP from tax calculation procedure which is assigned to your country.

    I have an LIV with R block in the header level. The invoice contains a line item for planned delivery cost condition type FRB1 which was entered manually during PO creation.(no condition record exists for FRB1). But the condition type FRB1 is missing from the PO line item now and when trying to release the invoice block via MRBR, it gives the message that the 'list is incomplete'.
    The PO is not having any release strategy and the invoice number is available in the index table RBKP_BLOCKED.
    The condition type FRB1 got deleted from the PO on re-triggering the pricing. The business needs the pricing to be carried out on the shipment date from the vendors site. So when the vendor issues the goods, the same is updated in the pricing date field in PO line item and the pricing is re-triggered. So in this case the happenings were in the below sequence.
    1. Buyer created PO with manually entered FRB1 condition type.
    2. Invoice posted against the PO.
    3. When vendor has shipped the goods, the ASN updates the pricing date in the PO and carries out re-pricing. The FRB1 got deleted from the PO on re-pricing as no condition record existed.
    4. Goods receipt posted
    5. Trying to release the invoice in MRBR, but the system gives the message that the list is incomplete.
    Please suggest how to go ahead with the resolution of the issue.

    Hi Greg,
    Are there any a/c entries showing in GR a/c doc for this cond type? I think it could be a bug when you run the ASN Idoc. Try to un-check Delete indicator for FRB1 which would stop it getting deleted.

  • How to block particular condition type not being posted

    Hi,
          We don't want a particular condition type ( customized & accruel ) to be posted into accounting when creating a billing. That condition type is deleted and after that this is how it works now.
    1. When a billing is cretaed from a new sale order ( which does not have that condition type ) it works fine.
    2. When a billing is created from a sale order which refers to the old sale order which in turn has this condition type, then this conditon type is posted into accounting.
        Can some one help in this issue so that I want to block this condition type being get posted in accounting. Is there any Userexit or can it be done with other options. I am an ABAPer, please give specific answer.

    The reason why we do account determination is that we would want the system to post the  respective amounts to respective G/L accounts automatically.  What amounts to be posted to what G/L accounts is decided by the Account keys .
    Now if for a particular condition type in the pricing procedure  if you remove Account key the system will not post to the G/L accounts. But generally in this case I believe while creating the Bill system will throw an error in account determination.
    For that what you can do is create completely new accont key and assign a provisional G/L account which is not to be included in your Balance Sheet accounts or P & L accounts (can be restriscted by FI Guys).
    But remember to use a completely new oricing proicedure for this case.

  • Block Invoice creation for missing condition type

    Hi,
    We need to put a chek on the Invoice process, wherein if particular condition type is missing in the relation to sales order, than the Invoice should not get created.
    For example-
    If Order A - has condition type PR00 which gets fecthed from the condition record (VK11)
    And while creating Invoice for the Order A, if someone has deleted the condition record , the invoice gets created without condition type PR00.
    Now at this step a block has to be placed which can block the invoice from being created if PR00 is missing.
    Please let me know what will be the best appraoch of IMPLEMENTING  such check and how to do that.

    first if some deletes the condition record for a paricular condtion record,then ask ur users to uopdate the prices by goin to the condition screen.
    second create a pricing procedure determination for your billing type in t code ovkk
    and in that pricing procedure just maintain the settings as per mentioned by Mr.Lakshmipathy.

    We have one Sales Organisation under which 40 plants are there. I want to block a condition type for 10 plants. Please suggest me what are the different alternatives to do that?

    As your Condition Type is used in almost 30 plants mean it would be determined by Condition Access.
    Now as you know a Access Sequence would be assigned to the Condition Type & subsequently Condition Tables are assigned to Assequence Seq, to search for Condition Records.
    Now include Plant as one of the search strategy in your Access Sequence / Condition Tables. Then maintain Condition Records for 30 plants in which you require this Condition Type.
    For rest of the 10 plants as there is no Condition Record, the Condition Type would be be determined for these Plants.

    in condition type defination make manual processing not allowed this will forbid manual entry by user
    and in pricing schema make check manual condition in front of condition this will stop automatic picking of value.
    however it is suggested to create an additional pricing procedure and assign new vendor schema to vendor master.

    You can use lsmw and do a recording to insert those new customer fields. LSMW can call bdc recording and you can enter the values there...

    Hi,
    Go to FTXP and give the tax code A8.
    In the resultant screen, select the condition type MWVS, and link the condition type to an account key.
    Make sure all the other tax determination settings are fine
    Now, try the transaction it should work fine.

    Diagnosis
    When calculating tax, the system tried to determine the condition amount and the condition number from tables A003 and A053 using the specified condition type and tax code. However, no values were found there.
    System Response
    The specified amount cannot be posted in FI.
    Procedure
    Check the Customizing settings for the specified tax code. Check whether the validity period (possible with tax jurisdictions) is defined.
    I have already checked FTXP, and the Tax Code is already there.
    I have already checked the condition record, and it is already there,
    Maybe I have missed something...?

    1. Check in a previously created invoice, accounting document - the tax code? (FB03) is it A1?
       --> the tax code is A1
    2. In VK12, MWST do you have other values of % tax (e.g. 0%). In a sales order, give appropriate Tax classification values for CMR, MMR so that MWST value = 0. Create invoice and check if you are getting the message
       --> in VK12 for Key Combination Domestic Taxes :

    U pls Check ur configuration. First u check the calculation procedure (F.A- Tax on sales & purchase-Basic setting-Check calculation procedure _ Define procedure) In the procedure field u  check JM01 is activated or deactivated otherwise u created in condition Type.

  • New condition type, new tax codes

    Hi,
    I have created new condition type for tax procedure TAXIN. I have defined the account key for it. The condition type is basically for exempted input tax transaction. Then I created new tax codes by using the new condition type. The percentage of the tax codes is 0 as it is exempted.
    When I am trying to post invoice by using above taxcodes, it gives me error that the tax code is not defined in taxprocedure TAXIN.
    What could be the reason?

    Did you create the tax code in the development or prouction system?
    If in development you need to export the tax code by going to FTXP and selecting Tax Code -> Transport -> Export. Then when you release the transport you should go to the Production system and select Tax Code -> Transport -> Import.

    I am facing an issue during creation of new Tax-code for CST; condition type JIN1. After defining the tax percentage; system is picking an automatic G/L account, which is a grey field and can't be editable. We need to change G/L account and need to assign a new one.

    Use transaction OB40, here double click on the Account Key (you can check this account key assigned to condition type in OBQ3 and also in FTXP screen) that is mapped to condition type JIN1 and enter your chart of accounts. Now change the G/L account you want.

    I added a new condition type to the pricing procedure. While creating the invoice if i try giving a value to the new condition type then i get the message "No accounting document generated", but when i leave it as blank then there is no problem with the a/c docs.
    I assume I haven't done the complete settings correctly. Pls help.

    As I do not have access to your system, can not comment in details.
    But if I have to add a tax codition in pricing, what I would do is :
    Create a tax condition, assign it in tax procedure.
    Copy it as sales pricing condition.
    Assign it in pricing procedure.
    Create condition record for tax condition in VK19.
    Check tax code in FTXP & its assignment in OB40.
    Create condition record for MWST.
    I think you need to check the above configuration.

  • Problem with multiple condition type for VAT &CST

    pl. suggest  the procedure for the following problem.we configured  seperate  pricing procedures for our product material and scrap material.We have configured same condition types for VAT(ie.condition type:ZVAT) and CST(cond type:ZCST), in both pricing procedures. Now We want to maintain  seperate condition types for VAT and CST for pricing procedure for Product material and Scrap material. I have created two new condition types for scrap sales ZSCT- cst for scrap and ZSVT-vat for scrap by copying the same from existing conditions ZCST & ZVAT, and the same is included in the scrap pricing procedure. And also maintained OB40,OBCN,OVK1,OVK3,OVK4, FTXP,FV11 and VK11.
    now I am facing the following problems.
    1. while creating the Material master & customer master, in tax category sub screen all conditions i.e. conditions defined for  product material( ZCST,ZVAT) and defined for scrap material (ZSCT, ZSVT) displaying and these are compulsory fields.
    2. While creating the sale order for scrap material, system is considering the TAX classes from ZVAT/ ZCST (defined for product material) and taking the condition value from the condition type ZSVT/ ZSCT with the TAX class values of  ZVAT/ZCST.
    Now I would like to know is there any procedure  to assign the Material type and Customer  Account group to Tax category.

    Hello Sam,
    The Access Sequence Assigned to your New Condition types ie, ZSCT and ZSVT are same as the Previous Condition type ZVAT and ZCST.
    After Adding new condition type in the Tax category in the Masters you have to take care of the Sequence of the Condition type.
    If ZSCT and ZSVT is on the 3rd and 4th number in the masters the Condition table you are using in the access sequence should have fields  Taxclassification3-Customer and taxclassification3- material. For ZSCT
    Likewise Taxclassification4-Customer and taxclassification4- material. For ZSVT
    Please add New Condition table in the access sequence with the required Field
    And next when you are maintaining the condition record for say ZSCT you will have to maintain condition record for the condition table which has Taxclassification3-Customer and taxclassification3.
    In Document the values will be flown correctly after changing this.

    i searched few forums to understand the ways of US taxes getting claculated particularly on condition types XR1 to XR6, is the value available in SAP system or is the percentage value maintained in the taxware or vertex system?
    if in SAP where is this maintained, i could see the same input & output tax codes assigned in OBCL settings for many states in US, so i am not able to relate this in FTXP, as different states provide different calculation.
    if it is maintained through external system, is there way we can check the values or see in the screen?, how is this link of checking the external system enabled, is it through 301 cal type & its associated function module,
    will there be a chance to change this value from the user end or do we need to seek Taxware or Vertex assistance here.

    In SAP, only Condition Type XR1 to XR6 are only condition which is responsible for computation of tax in US & Canada. Where, even condition types UTXD & UTXE are equally essential to this. These condition types used for external tax calculation.

    Well, I don't think there much from SD side to explorer here. As Tax procedure hardly have any role to play in SD business process for tax rate determination. But, that is very significant from GL Account determination for respective Tax Transaction in SD.

    301 is not the only Routine associated. As like UTXD & UTXE there respective routines 500(collect tax input - export to IVP) & 501(get tax output data - import from IVP) are equally important with others 301 to 306(Set tax values and percentage into condition structure and fill tax base amount based on FM  GET_TAX_RESULTS_FOR_301_306)

    Hope you are aware, these tax IVPs are tool that is used to calculate taxes for the US tax rules.Yes, you might need to ask respective Tax IVP.
    In Taxware, it provides the tax jurisdictions codes for master data addresses in SAP. Based on combination of both tax jurisdictions, the Taxware product code and dates, Taxware returns rates and amounts of tax and which jurisdictions get the tax.
