Conditional map for VarValues(3)

I am using the following script to attempt to map based on period.
If VarValues(3) < "10/31/2012" Then Result = "P2424F" Else Result = "P2424A" End If
for some reason this script is putting the data in P2424F for January and P2424A for all of the other months of both 2012 and 2013.
I'm thinking it must have something to do with October starting with a "1". An help would be GREATLY appreciated.

If you want the map to apply to all Custom2s, then I think it is more appropriate to use Like mapping instead of Between mapping. In the Like mapping entry, the Rule Def ashould be set to * (asterisk) and the Target should be set to #SCRIPT.

Conditional Mapping issue - Need help Urgently

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement for conditional mapping for HFM. When the value of certain account is positive, it is mapped to one account, else, to a different account. We are able to achieve this in the conditional mapping.
Once the mapping is done, we need the amount to be positive one. How do we attain this?

Hi,
Lets say your two target accounts are called X & Y.
I assume in your account mapping you have something like
Source account xxxx1 ==> Target account X
Source account yyyy1 ==> Target account Y
Here is what you can do.
In the import script of Account you can check the amount value < 0 and assign to account X else to account Y and assign to the out variable.
In the import script of Amount you can check if the source account is xxxx1 or yyyy1 then always assign abs(amount value) and assign to the out variable.
In the account mapping,
If you wish you can retain the below (with the account script change as I suggested, you will never get xxxx1 or yyyy1 in the out variable anymore)
Source account xxxx1 ==> Target account X
Source account yyyy1 ==> Target account Y
And add the two additional entries (since out variable for the two conditions will be X & Y)
Source account X ==> Target account X
Source account Y ==> Target account Y

In mapping specification mapping to line item means direct mapping the source to target. Condition Mapping means its based on some condition you map source to target.
Find Examaple.

if QUALF='001' SET BIG.04=BELNR.
In this case if there is only one condition in the segment better to check conditon in the segment level then it wont create the segment itself if condition fails.

Conditional Mapping with script using BlOCKPROC to access the HFM API

Hello,
following problem. During the mapping/validation I need to map certain custom1 members to None if the Top Member is None and let it be if not None. This allocation depends on the account. Reading through the documentation I stumbled across conditional mapping.
So in the Custom1 map type Like I defined following:
Rule Name: C1_Script
Rule Definition: CXXX*
TargetCustom1: #Script
In the script I try to achieve to get the Custom1 Top member for the account! The HFM API offers this function(fGetCustomTopMember) and with varValue(14) I get my TargetAccount. So everything I need seems to be there.
Only problem is I need to use the BlOCKPROC to access the HFM API provided through the adapter, but either way won't work.
Trying "Set API.IntBlockMgr.IntegrationMgr.PobjIntegrate = BlOCKPROC.ActConnect("LookUP")" throws an object required error.

Set BLOCKPROC = CreateObject("upsWBlockProcessorDM.clsBlockProcessor")
BLOCKPROC.Initialize API, SCRIPTENG
throws me a type mismatch for "BLOCKPROC.Initialize".

FDM 11.1.2.1 Mapping Issue Conditional Mapping Error

I am configuring the newly installed FDM 11.1.2.1 and have and issue with the conditional account mapping where I have "varValues(9)" and it comes with this error. I have taken the script from our current FDM 9.3 versionm where it did worked, but in FDM 11.1.2.1 it will no go through.
Is the script not correct ? Or is this new version different somewhere ?

Cast the value of varValues(9) as a Double and do the same for the 0 i.e. CDbl(varValues(9)) = CDbl(0). Also verify that the value passed in varValues(9) is actually a number and does not contain non-numeric characters or is blank

Conditional mapping in Graphical mapping

Hi All,
I have a conditional mapping requirement i.e.I have 2 nodes ( collections/collection/object and extensions/collection/@name) in the source structres. Both nodes are identical and have unbound occurences. Based on certain condtions I need to map second node in the source node to target node ( Items ). Below is the condition.
If first node '/MT_FCI_CONTRACT_EXPORT/fcidataexport/objects/object/collections/collection/object/@classname' (Occurs Unbounded ) value is not 'contracts.LineItem' and second node '/MT_FCI_CONTRACT_EXPORT/fcidataexport/objects/object/extensions/collection/@name' ( Occurs Unbounded ) value is 'MATGRP_COLLN' then only map source field '/MT_FCI_CONTRACT_EXPORT/fcidataexport/objects/object/extensions/collection/row' ( occurs unbounded ) to target node 'Items' ( Occurs unbounded ).
I have done this mapping using If condtions and did some context changes. My second condition is working fine but my first condition is not working as expected. Its only taking value in the first occurences and based on that passing first condition. But I need to check in all occurences whether value 'contracts.LineItem' is not exist then only I need to pass that condition. Please let me know how to achieve this.

To reply your query first we have to understand the exact requirement . So I am writing my understanding below and solution for it .Kindly reply if your requirement is different.
you have three source field which is involved in mapping .@classname, @name, and row and target side you have node item .
Now you have to check for all classname and name that if classname is not equal to contracts.LineItem and @name is equal to MATGRP_COLLN ( both the values I have considered as constant) then map row to target node item. i.e if classname and lineitem is occuring 4 time and two time both are satisfying both the codition then generate two target Item node .
Solution.
classname -> (CollapseContext)->equals to ContractLineitem --not -->
AND -
IIF WITHOUT ELSE
Name -
>(CollapseContext)-->equals to MATGRP_COLLN--
>
the condition of if without else function will be output of AND and in then map row----.(collpasecontext) finally the output of if without else will be mapped to item

Mapping for Order Split

Hello,
We have a requirement that we would receive IDocs from a third party and we would send them back.
But the condition is,if these ORDERS IDocs contain materials belonging to different distribution channel then IDoc has to be split in two (10 or 20 DC) having materials belonging to same DC.
So at the max,we can have 2 IDocs created for 1 IDoc.
How can we achieve this?

Through which adapter are you communicating to III party?
Is it a Asynch scenario?
As per my understanding, you need to split the incoming IDOCs based on the Distribution channel.
I suggest you to use Multi Message mapping > then right click on Messages1 and select duplicate structure.
Now provide the mapping for the first messages to execute for DC = 10 similary provide mapping for second message to execute for DC = 20.
Enhanced interface determination if you want to send each one as different message.

Functionality is passing material numbers of EDI customers to IDTNR field in E1EDP19 filed under segment E1EDP01.
From source i will get set of material numbers, for one set 10 material numbers(In source you can find 10 fields for 10 material numbers)
Requirement: I need to send those material numbers to IDTNR (One to one mapping ).
For getting 10 material numbers i just duplicated segment E1EDP19 in target side and mapped one field of source to IDTNR target in each segment. Totally mapped 10 source fields in 10 segments.
If 20 material numbers I will get two sets <G_SPO1> will repeat two times, each time 10 material numbers. So I mapped G_SPO1 to E1EDP01
S_PO1 to E1EDP19.
My out put is coming as 10 E1EDP19 segments under E1EDP01 if 10 materail numbers.
But problem is ECC team asking to get one E1EDP19 line item value under E1EDP01 line item header. They are not accepting duplicate E1EDP19 segments under header E1EDP01.
How to acheive this with my requirement.

There is no relation between D_234 and D_356.
I want to pass D_356 to KTEXT in all E1EDP01 segments which ever i will get based on the condition we implemented for E1EDP01.

In the above wsdl the collection of fintObjInst if of type xs:anytype. From the wsdl, I do not see the xsd mapping for AccountIC which includes Name and Desc. Due to which, when invoking the web service from a different client like c#(by creating proxy business service), I am unable to set the parameters for AccountIC. I am using JAX-WS stack and WLS 10.3. I have already looked at blog http://weblogs.java.net/blog/kohlert/archive/2006/10/jaxws_and_type.html but unable to solve this issue. However, at run time using a tool like SoapUI, when this wsdl is imported, I am able to see all the params related to AccountIC class.
Can some one help me with this.

Did you try adding the the XmlSeeAlso annotation to the webservice
@XmlSeeAlso({<package.name>.AccountIC.class})
This will add the schema for the data type (AccountIC) to the WSDL.

I want to use if condition in for-each-group. Basically my requirement is that i want to use dynamic grouping. There will be two groups and the upper group and lower group will be selected on the basis of a report parameter.

You can add a If condition filed after the for-each field
for EG : <?if:ADDRESS_TYPE = 'Employee Address'?>
and then add anothet field which has <?end if?>

Iam designing cube for Purchasing module in BW. Iam having doubt in mapping for 0calday in update rules, is it with document date or scheduline date. I have searched in SAP cube 0PUR_C01, it is mapped with 0SCHED_DATE( schedule line date). How the difference comes when we choose document date and schedule line date.
FYI, we are using only schedule line data source, which is giving relevant information.

Please note:
0SCHED_DATE: The schedule line date is the day on which the scheduled quantity of the material is to be delivered.
0DOC_DATE: The date on which document has been craeted.
Use the first one for purchasing.
