Condtion record -Price element inactive -Inactive Via Formulas or Incorrect

Hi experts,
I am trying to use pricing condition in bespoke service order. When I add product to it, I don't get the net value. When I click on product then I get all condition records but condition record with bespoke condition type are marked red and with error 'Price element inactive -Inactive Via Formulas or Incorrect'. Also on order I get error that one of the bespoke condition is missing. ( which is mandatory).
In SAP GUI when I open the order and select the condition record with click on magnifying glass I see 'Txt for condn inactive = Inactive Via Formulas or Incor' in condition record's detail.
Any idea what is missing? I have downloaded all customizing objects and condition records in CRM.

The condition types are not visible in bespoke transaction. How to activate the condition types for bespoke transaction?
Also I don't see any condition record in Product master.

We have been using SAP from past 2 years and today suddenly we are facing this error while creating the sales order. For pricing condition type PR00 the value is disappearing when we try to maintain it manually(we use manual as priority) and in the analysis it gives the condition as Inactive via formulae of incorrect.
We do not have any other condition record with Condition Class B.
Please help.

Hello,
You may try to check the pricing procedure via V/08 and check if there is a routine set specific for that condition type. The said routine has a specific code that will correspond or even affect the price condition when sales order is created.
Otherwise, you may ask ABAP to check if for you so they can debug it.

Condition is showing as "Inactive via formulae of incorrect"

Hi Friends,
There are 3 condition types with condition class B are existing in my PP. 1 cond typ is statical, another one is manual and the 3rd one is automatic through ALTCTYP formula.
during sales order all three condition types are showing as "Inactive via formulae of incorrect". can any one give a clue why they are inactive and not detetrmined in order.

Info record price update

Hi All,
When purchasing creates the info record we populate a price linked
to that supplier/part # combination. Later, if we get a price
change, we would like to update that field so that it autopopulates
the requisition with the correct value - but the change inforecord
screen (ME12) will not allow us to edit the cost field, even though
purchasing is the one that set it up, and it is NOT the same field
as the accounting standard cost. We need the ability to continue to
edit that field once the inforecord is created.

You need to goto TCode ME12 to Create a New Validity Period for the Cost of the material for the Purchase Infor Record. Once you have Hit <Enter> at ME12, click on the Condtions Record. Next Click on the New Validity Period Button, you should be at the "Create Gross Price Condition". SAP will populate the Data on the Validity Period. Enter your Price in the Conditions Supplement Screen.

Info Record price wrt inco terms

The current scenario is that the info record price maintainance is mandatory.
However in a scenario that is import there are prices based on the inco terms.
Is this possible? For eg Price when CIF is 100 and when FOB is 90 for the same material vendor purch org combination

Hi
Yes this is possible, if you need to determine your price based on the Incoterms then you need to maintain the condition records accordingly.
Maintain the condition records with the key combination containing the Incoterms.
If you do not have any key combination then you createa new condition table and assign it to the access sequence and then you can create the condition records.

Yeah, I just checked it..
Its not possible in Std. SAP system...
There is no field provided for the same...
the other way, but doesn't applies to you...as you are doing massive job...
still if req. then check..
The other way is:
Maintain Quotation and ref. it in inforecord...price gets updated easily from it...

If we maintain the Tax Percentage i n the Tax Code and Condtion Record also. What is the use maintain the Tax Percentage in two menctioned placess.

If you are using tax procedure TAXINN then maintain percentage in FV11, there is no need to maintain the same at Tax code level.

Info Record Vs Master Record Price

I would like to know why in the project builder appears de master record price of a component instead of the price of the purchase requisition (info record price)?
If I manually introduce the Info Record the price will be updated but would be possible to update the price automatically when the purchase requisition is created?

It is happening because of the settings in Valuation Variant. If you want to pick value from Purchase Info Record then change priority sequence in valuation variant, it will start from L.

Hi, we need to fetch the info record price from ecc 6.0 and print it on the consignment contract form. the system for using consignment contracts is not designed yet. once it is designed the consignment contracts would be created in the srm system. we're using srm 5.0 and using extended classic scenario. currently the purchase contracts are being created directly in the srm system. someone plz help me with this.

Costing issue-Why Info record price is not read ?

We have an issue while costing a Material procured externally.
Valuation Variant >>> Priority 1-Info record price. >>Priority 2-Material Master valuation price.
However, system is picking the price matained in the Material master.
I have verified the validity of the info record and the Blocks on the Vendor and seems ok.
Are there any specific checks need to carry out to know if the info record is a valid one.
Any idea why system is picking Price from Material Master?

How to update info record price in to material master as a standard price -

Hi Experts,
We have a client requirement as below:
Client wants to compare the info record price per material for all related vendors.
Once he arrives at the best effective price (Material Price + Freight + Duty), he would want this price to update in the Material Master Record as Standard price.
I know we can use MR21 and LSMW to update this manually but we are looking to automate this process as we have more than 100,000 records in the system.
Can the above requirement be addressed through CK40N? if yes, How?

Usually, in std SAP, if there are multiple condition records, the one with lowest price is considered by the system in CK11N/CK40N
Configure your valuation variant to pick up price from info record... As far as I remember, the one with lowest price would get picked up when you do costing run...
however, if your requirement is bit different than this, but is based on a logic which can be configured in the system, then use Valuation Strategy U in your Valuation Variant and write your code accordingly in the exit COPCP005 (Component EXIT_SAPLCK21_002.)

How to inlcude all records in a report, with a formula result of 0 or 0?

I'm reporting on classes scheduled for a certain location, and calculating the number of available seats per class. A formula will give me the net seats available (Max seats-count of students). BUT if there are no students enrolled, class does not appear on the report. Formula is {SCHEDULES.qy_sch_max} - Count ({WAITING_LISTS.no_emp}, {SCHEDULES.cd_crs)
What am I missing? Currently using Crystal 8.5 and reporting against a SQL database.
Appreciate your help.

basically, I need to show the net result for the open seats available,which will be the same as the max seats offered.
I tried the following:
If Isnull{WAITING_LISTS.no_emp}
then {@Open}={SCHEDULES.qy_sch_max}
else
{SCHEDULES.qy_sch_max} - Count ({WAITING_LISTS.no_emp}, {SCHEDULES.cd_crs})
and got a message "Missing the then". (@Open is the formula title)
