Hi Dears
i configurate simple DMVPN on my network. Now i want to configurate Dual HUB Dual DMVPN.
i can not find any good configuration documentation how config that.
please provide me a link or any pdf fot configuration DUal HUB Dual Dmvpn .
thanks.
Thanks Paul, I have looked over this design guide as this was the fist place i went. however, i cannot find a configuration example for dual hub/single cloud.
i see the high level design and know you can do it. but it doesnt show what the configuration would look like...unless i am just reading over it.
Thanks

Dual-DMVPN Design with Dual Hubs on a single router ??
Hi All,
In DMVPN, in Dual-DMVPN Design with Dual Hubs , can a single router perform the role of dual hubs.
The router has two different internet links. It is intended that when one link goes down, spokes shud connect to the same router onto the other active internet connection. Is this possible ?Since no one has answered yet, I'll give you the practical answer.
You'll have issues with IPSec and static routing. "DMVPN" itself probably wouldn't have an issue, but it would depend on IPSec and routing to work.
It is easier, by far, to put in a second router. And when you factor in your time to try to make it work (and it may not work), the second router is less expensive.

Startup network configuration dual homed
FRUSTRATION: 100% .. Over a month trying to startup network configuration dual homed .. MacMini Intel Dual .. System Preferences --> Network --> Two Locations (BuiltIn ether on the IP my router uses for the world www, smtp, dns, ntp, limited ssh 192.168.local.wired.fixed) and (AirPort for VNC, ssh for admin via laptop)
Upon reboot, I have o login back to the Mini keyboard/CRT to reset these two locations. I am NOT passthru routing.
Bad enough the CRT settings will ot start my 20in VGA till I restart the video on an old low-res monitor.
No where near ready to install the Server pack. Looking thru the web stuff, there are Unix like files (missing) to force the addresses and default route. No ifconfigd found.
Where do I find a netconfig, rc.conf or like files to force the Mini (OS 10.4.7) to come up with my two interfaces and default route?
PLEASE .. Ev +1 805 340-6471 [email protected]This is the wrong forum for this topic, but I'll assist.
Without configuration sync enabled, you would have to configure both Nexus 5K exactly the same for the FEX port before traffic will forward.
Configuration sync would help you in only having to configure it once, but I have had mixed results using configuration sync so I tend not to use it in my deployments. -
Configuring Dual-homed servers for redundancy to 6509s
I am looking for assitance in properly configuring dual-homed servers for redundancy to two CatOS based 6509s. My search for information on how to do this has been unsuccessful to date, so any help you can provide would be most appreciated.
Do I need any special hardware/software on the 6509s and/or on the servers?
Thanks, in advance.
JohnA lot depends on the kind of servers you have and the NIC teaming algorithms they support. Usually two or more NICs can be teamed in either a fault tolerant configuration (with one primary NIC) or in transmit load balancing configuration. Both these configurations allow the NICs to be connected to separate L2 switches so in case your servers do support such kind of teaming all you need is to have both NICs in the same VLAN and ensure L2 connectivity between the Catalyst 6509s. I recommend you research this from the server perspective also and like everything else test it before production deployment.

Abap server proxy on IS configured as HUB
Hi,
My scenario is;
web serv. client (soap) => XI srv => abap proxy
In the abap proxy I want to return some binary data as attachment. Seems to me that I'm not allowed to execute
abap proxy on the XI IS since the error msg is;
- <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">
<SAP:Category>XIServer</SAP:Category>
<SAP:Code area="INTERNAL">PROXY_NOT_ALLOWED_ON_IS</SAP:Code>
<SAP:P1 />
<SAP:P2 />
<SAP:P3 />
<SAP:P4 />
<SAP:AdditionalText />
<SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
<SAP:Stack>Proxy calls on the sender or receiver side are not permitted on the IS (client)</SAP:Stack>
<SAP:Retry>N</SAP:Retry>
</SAP:Error>
The engine type is configured as HUB.
Can someone confirm this, or is it something I can do?
best regards
TorsteinHi,
>>>>Are there any configuration settings need to be done for using same client.
yes there's one: TCODE - SXMB_ADM - integration engine config
if you set your client as HUB then you cannot use proxies
if you set it as application server then you can use proxies
but this is not a problem how can you use proxies on the same client but why?
XI is an integration server - use for message transfer not for building applications on it
XI offers many ways to communite with it but not for being an application sever itself
ERP 2004 can have XI on the same instance (server)
but you also need to use another client to work with XI
so most probably this will not change
the conclusion: build your applications on applicaiton servers (r3 for instance) and leave XI for message transfer only
Hope it clears a little

Issue with configuring Hyperion HUB 7.1.2 with SQLSERVER 2005
Hello Experts,
One of my customer has an issue with configuring Hyperion HUB 7.1.2 with SQLSERVER 2005.
"We are trying to configure the SQL server 2005 database with Hyperion hub and we are unable to get the cofiguration completed. We suspect the driver class (hyperion.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver) used in the domain.xml (path \Hyperion\HyperionHub\7.2.1\deployments\Tomcat\4.1.30\) is not helping to connect with sql server 2005. We would appreciate if you can provide new driver class which we can included while deploying the app under the web server."
Please suggest. Thanks in advance
Regards,
SonuHi
Please redeploy only the Web Server under shared service. It has to be redeployed once EPMA and others are configured.
Thanks

Are there any routing issues when using mGRE interfaces on spokes. I need spoke-to-spoke connectivity. Obviously if I opt for p-pGRE interfaces then traffic from spoke-to-spoke will have to go via one of the hubs.
I understand there was a limitation in IOS whereby mGRE interfaces on spokes prevented it from learning many routes via the hub.

Phuc LeHi Phuc Le,
I found for you a quite detailed design and implementation guide. Please read carefully and implement a test bed. I'm sure you will get support for specific issues if you run into problems.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/solutions/Enterprise/WAN_and_MAN/DMVPN_2_Phase2.html
These documents are carefully written and I never encountered any problems with such reference implementations.
Also: Please don't formulate your questions in an attached document, this makes it diffucult for us to give you answers.

[SOLVED] Configure dual head with different resolutions xf86-video-ati
I have 1680x1050 and 1280x1024 monitors which I would like to setup so that I have two displays (:0.0 and :0.1), i.e. can't drag a window to the other display, but can move the mouse from one screen to the next. The graphics card is Radeon HD 4850.
At the moment I have one screen only, so I can't move the mouse from the first to the second screen, it is captive in the first screen.

Because the two monitors are different resolutions I don't know if a single screen is the answer.
I used to have two displays/screens configured to two different resolutions matching the monitors using the catalyst driver but can't get it working using the xf86-video-ati driver.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

How do I configure dual monitors on JDS?
I just have installed Solaris 10u5 on a Dell E521 with an ATI Radeon X1300 Pro graphics card. This card has 2 connectors onto which I connect a FlexScan S1911 (DVI) and an Acer AL1916 (VGA).
I now have 2 problems:
1. the resolution is beyond usage (ie way too low which gives me huge letters/icons/etc.)
How can I fix it?
If I select "Change Desktop Resolution" from the desktop menu, I get an error msg saying that the Xserver does not support "XRandR".
I also tried kdmconfig in "ASCII mode" but the selections I find are not really useful nor do they show my graphics card.
2. I would like to use the above configuration as dual-head.
How/where do I configure this? (My /device only shows 1 entry and not 2 as I would have expected).
Thanx,
ThomasFor configuring the resolution, you'll have to use 'fbconfig' on the command line. See 'man fbconfig' for details. (This is because S10u5 still uses the Xsun server, which doesn't support resolution changes on the fly.)
For dual screen I believe you have to edit your /etc/dt/config/Xservers file. A quick google throws up a few working examples for Solaris 10, but the details may vary for your cards. Here's one for xinerama mode:
:0 Local local_uid@console root /usr/openwin/bin/Xsun :0 -nobanner +xinerama -dev /dev/fbs/ifb1 defdepth 24 defclass TrueColor -dev /dev/fbs/ifb0
And for non-xinerama:
:0 Local local_uid@console root /usr/openwin/bin/X -nobanner -defclass TrueColor -defdepth 24 -dev /dev/fbs/jfb0 left -dev /dev/fbs/pfb0b -
Pre-configured dual-boot Ubuntu and Windows
Of possible interest to the Linux folks: A newly opened Laptops with purpose store is now offering several popular ThinkPad models fully pre-configured with dual-boot Ubuntu Linux and Windows.
These systems come with a lot of pre-installed applications, see Dual boot Linux and Windows page for details.
At the moment, we are working on specific solutions for students, educators, scientists, designers...
Would love to have some feedback from the community on the existing offerings as well as suggestions/wishes for the future ones.That would be fine if some hp machines didn't have broken UEFI that don't respect setting the default OS.

Help configuring dual ethernet ports
We have a Linksys router doing NAT/firewall and its connected to the WAN. . No DHCP server is running. It has an internal IP of 192.168.16.1 / 255.255.255.0. It plugs in directly to a Linksys business series switch.
I have an intel xserve with dual nics and no idea how to configure them, but I want the server to handle AFP/DHCP/DNS, while a G4 handles mail.
My assumption was to give en0 this setup:
ip: 192.168.16.5
subnet: 255.255.255.0
router: 192.168.16.1
dns: isp's numbers
en1:
ip: 192.168.10.1
subnet: 255.255.255.248
router: 192.168.10.1
dns: 192.168.10.1
Is this setup correct? Because I can't get it to resolve correctly even though I am using a FQDNI should also add that our website is being hosting externally with a private hosting company. However, we want to host our mail internally on the G4.

Configuring Dual Band on WRT320N
I bought the WRT320N so that I could use dual band to segregate my wireless g traffic from my wireless N traffic to keep the g's from dragging down the speed of the n traffic. However my router is using either one or the other. Is there a way to configure the router to offer both bands at once? Thanks
Solved!
Go to Solution.No. The WRT320N is single radio. It's not simultaneous dual-band/dual-radio. You can use either the 2.4 GHz band or the 5 GHz but not both at the same time.
