Configuring simple scenario (File to File)

I have done the first variant from Simple Use Case.
I have got an error during activating change list
Check result for Sender Agreement | ABP_FileSystem_XIPattern1 | XIPatternInterface1 | * | *:  Communication channel of sender " | ABP_FileSystem_XIPattern1 | XIChannel_FileSender " is of SAP adapter type "File". In this case, the receiver party must not be "*"
My configuration is the same except I am using FTP Adapter...
What did I wrong?

Hi,
i Think in your case it is possible to let receiver party empty.
Try this.

Robin

  • How to configure a scenario which posts same file to different directories

    How to configure a scenario which posts same file to different directories of a receiving system?
    Consider an Idoc to file scenario where I have to post same file to two different directories but logical receiver system has to be same.

    Hi,
    You can try out like this: Using multiple receiver interfaces you can send it to multiple directories with the help of enhanced interface determination/conditions and with the help of multiple receiver communication channels.
    Another option is to copy the file from one target directory into another directory  with the help of Unix script by executing the same from the OS command level.
    One more option is to create a Java Server Proxy and inside the proxy, you can write java code to FTP into different locations.
    Hope this helps,

  • [SOLVED] Parsing simple config files in pure bash

    Hi everyone,
    I'd like to implement a bash function to parse a simple config file for a script I've wrote. The conifg file contains different sections for different scenarios. Here's an example how it should look like:
    # configuration file
    # global settings
    global {
    DATE_PREFIX="-I"
    SSHFS_OPTS="-C"
    EXT_FULL="full"
    EXT_DIFF="diff"
    EXT_CATALOGUE="catalogue"
    DAR_OPTS="-v -m 256 -y -s 600M -D"
    DAR_NOCOMPR="-Z '*.gz' -Z '*.bz2' -Z '*.zip' -Z '*.png'"
    # system settings
    system {
    DAR_OPTS="-v -m 256 -y -s 200M -D"
    It contains some settings which are global for the whole script and special settings groups which can be used to overwrite global settings.
    The function to parse this config file looks as follows:
    #!/bin/sh
    CONFIG="/home/chi/.daruprc"
    function readconf() {
    match=0
    while read line; do
    # skip comments
    [[ ${line:0:1} == "#" ]] && continue
    # still no match? lets check again
    if [ $match == 0 ]; then
    # do we have an open tag ?
    if [[ ${line:$((${#line}-1))} == "{" ]]; then
    # strip "{"
    group=${line:0:$((${#line}-1))}
    # do we have a match ?
    if [[ ${group} -eq $1 ]]; then
    match=1
    continue
    fi
    continue
    fi
    # found close tag but still no match - continue
    elif [[ ${line:0} == "}" && $match == 0 ]]; then
    continue
    # found close tag after config was read - exit loop
    elif [[ ${line:0} == "}" && $match == 1 ]]; then
    break
    # got a config line return it
    else
    echo $line
    fi
    done < "$CONFIG"
    for line in $(readconf "system"); do
    echo $line
    done
    As you can see I try to just echo the lines at the moment. And here's the problem: It seems I have some " escape issues, if I run it I get the following output:
    ./parseconfig.sh
    DATE_PREFIX="-I"
    SSHFS_OPTS="-C"
    EXT_FULL="full"
    EXT_DIFF="diff"
    EXT_CATALOGUE="catalogue"
    DAR_OPTS="-v
    -m
    256
    -y
    -s
    600M
    -D"
    DAR_NOCOMPR="-Z
    '*.gz'
    -Z
    '*.bz2'
    -Z
    '*.zip'
    -Z
    '*.png'"
    As you can see there are way to much newlines - which leads to problems when I try to use "eval" to initialize the variables.
    I am sure I am missing something simple here, however I am looking for a solution for a few days now - maybe one of the bash gurus on this board can enlighten me ;-).
    Thanks in advance
    PS.: I am trying to do this in pure bash because the script also needs to run on embedded machines with very low memory like my router on which I don't have sed or awk or the like. I also know that I could for example just use different config files to circumvent the whole parsing - but I am just curious if this could work the way I like ;-).

    Hi MrWeatherbee,
    well yes, but I want to assign (eval) these lines to get variables out of them. Since the while loop is trapped in its' own subshell I need to return the lines into the parent one to be able to make these variables "visible" in the script itself.
    Right. But I was trying to show you that the way you were going about it wouldn't work at a very fundamental level.
    Without changing too much code just for a quick and dirty demo,
    change:
    # got a config line return it
    else
    echo $line
    fi
    done < "$CONFIG"
    # got a config line return it
    else
    line_array=( "${line_array[@]}" "$line" )
    fi
    done < "$CONFIG"
    numarrayelements=${#line_array[@]}
    and then in the main program code, do this:
    readconf "system"
    for index in $( seq $numarrayelements ); do
    line=${line_array[(($index-1))]}
    echo $line
    done
    Using an array to collect the good lines from the function allows you to reuse them later for whatever purpose. Although other ways exist, you certainly don't want to do what you originally did.
    Edit:
    I posted the code with an incorrectly referenced variable and had to fix it.

    Hi all,
    I'm starting study SAP XI, i see in the link follow:
    [http://www.****************/Tutorials/XI/File2File/page8.htm]
    a scenario to exchange file to file with SAP XI.
    After designing and configuration everything (same as tutorial of this scenario), i don't known how to execute this scenario.
    Anyone can answer my question: how to execute this scenario file to file?
    Please see the link below to understand more about this scenario.
    Thanks all a lot in advance,
    Point will be reward for any valuable answer.

    Hi Vinh,
    Hope u read all the basic documents of the XI, if not please go through once u wil come to know how to execute a scenario.
    the step-by-step procedure for a simple file-file scenario...
    First u have to finish the Design Part in the IR
    1) Create Data types
    2) Create Message Types
    3) Create Message Interface
    4) Message Mapping
    5) Message Interface.
    Here it complete the desing part.
    Then start thr configuration:-
    1) Create the Configuration Scenario
    2) Create the Business system and create the Communication Channel.
    3)  Sender Agreement
    4) Receiver Determination
    5) Interface Determination
    6) Receiver Determination.
    If u perfome this steps u wil be successfully complete u r File- File Scenario.

  • PI 7.1 scenario -- File to File , File to IDOC  and IDoc to File Scenario

    Hi All,
    *I have PI 7.0 . I have in that File to File , File to IDOC  and IDoc to File Scenarios*
    File to File -- This scenario is working fine.
    File to IDOC   --  Setting done in PI 7.0 like SM59,  IDXI, IDX2  and in R/3 like SALE (logical system)---  This scenario is working fine.
    IDoc to File  --  Seeting done in R/3 like SALE (Logical system, Distrubtion Model (Port, Partner Profile)) -- This scenario is working fine.
    Now I need to move to PI 7.1  -- for File to File , File to IDOC  and IDoc to File Scenarios.
    Please let me know do I require to make any changes in Design and Configuration and settings in PI 7.1 and R/3 for above scenarios or it will work fine as it is already working for PI 7.0
    If changes are required please let me know what changes to do for each scaenario and pls also send blogs for that.

    If there is no metadata maintained for an idoc type, the metadata for that idoc type gets loaded when an idoc of that type is received by PI for the first time. If you are looking at loading metadata of all idoc types before the first run, its really not required. Just make sure that the port is configured properly. Although, there is no harm in preloading the metadata using IDX2.
    You need to use IDX2 mandatorily when the the metadata changes and the metadata in ECC and PI is different. In that case, you need to delete metadata for the changed IDoc type and then either you can update the metada through IDX2 or let the system take care of.

  • Dynamic configuration for multiple files

    Hi All,
    I am new to PI. I have a proxy to file scenario, wherein 3 files are to be generated depending upon the value in a field (site ID) on the same receiver. Site ID can only have 3 different vales. All these 3 files are to have a dynamically defined name.
    How can I configure this scenario? Is there any way in which all 3 files can have dynamically defined names? Please help.
    Regards
    Vipul

    if you have only one recored (one site id) in proxy at a time, thn u can write a UDF for dynamic file name..
    // UDF: public String SetFileNameDyn(String siteID, Container container) throws StreamTransformationException{
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
    String myFileName = "";
    if(siteID.equals("firstValue")){
         myFileName  = "FirstFile1";

    Hi, Dear Friends! Thanks for support!
    My settings of
    Connection between systems:
    DX7 01 (client 001) - XI Integration Server and DE2 13 (client 200) - target system.
    Phisically both systems are in one server: 10.20.30.24 (srv24)
    Business system DE2_200 has Communication Channel: cc_bapi_r, its settings (in Integration Builder Configuration):
    Adapter Type: RFC
    Receiver
    Transport Protocol: RFC
    Message Protocol: RFC (RFC XML)
    Adapter Engine: Integration Server
    RFC Client Parameter:
    RFC Server Type: SAP System
    Application Server: 10.20.30.24
    System Number: 13
    Authentication Mode: Use Logon Data for SAP System
    Logon User: n_maslova

    As I understand these settings are the settings of RFC-destination for target system DE2 13 (200) from XI (DX7 01 001).
    In SLD, Business system DE2_200 is defined as:
    Integration:

    Technical System: DE2 on srv24
    Client: 200 of DE2
    Logical System Name: DE1CLNT200
    In target system DE2 13 (200) with the help of transaction sm59 I created
    RFC-destination DX7_001 of type H:
    Technical setting parameters:
    Target Host: 10.20.30.24

    After that in this system DE2 13 (200) with the help of transaction sxmb_adm I set in Integration Engine -> Configuration -> Configurate Integration Engine

  • Adding a simple media file

    Hi I have been working with dreamweaver 8 a while now, I
    never had an use for inserting or adding mp3 or any music file for
    that matter.
    I am now trying to do this but am slipping up some where. I
    think maybe my file paths are wrong or some thing like that. I can
    add flash video . swf etc. Some how no matter what I do I can not
    insert a not so simple media file! Would some one please tell me
    what I am doing wrong.
    Is it that my folders are configured wrong? I do not know
    HTML as yet but am working on that so any code explanation might be
    a small bit confusing. Could some one one look at the examples I
    have laid out and maybe we can sort this frustrating problem.
    Thank You very much.
    ADDING MEDIA

    From what I can gather you have to wait for the document object to become initialised. If you have an event handler that waits for the document object to be created then you should be ok:

  • High Score Table: Writing a Simple Text File with Flash and PHP

    I am having a problem getting Flash to work with PHP as I need Flash to read and write to a text file on a server to store simple name/score data for a games hi score table. I can read from the text file into Flash easily enough but also need to write to the file when a new high score is reached, so I need to use PHP to do that. I can send the data from flash to the php file via POST but so far it is not working. The PHP file is confirmed as working as I added an echo to the file which displayed a message so I  could check that the server was running PHP - the files were also uploaded to a remote server so I  could test them properly. Flash code is as follows:
    //php filewriter
    var myLV = new LoadVars();
    function sendData() {
    //sets up variable 'hsdata' to send to php
    myLV.hsdata = myText;
    myLV.send("hiscores.php");
    I believe this sends the variable 'myText' to the php file as a variable called 'hsdata' which I want the php file to write into a text file. The mytext variable is just a long string that has all the scores and names in the hiscore. OK, XML would be better way of doing this but for speed I just want to get basic functionality working, so storing a simple text sting is adequate for now. The PHP code that reads the Flash 'hsdata' variable and writes it to the text file 'scores.txt' follows:
    <?php
    //assigns to variable the data POSTed from flash
    $flashdata = $_POST["hsdata"];
    //file handler opens file and erases all contents with w arg
    $fh = fopen("scores.txt","w");
    //adds data to file
    fwrite ($fh,$flashdata);
    //closes file
    fclose ($fh);
    echo 'php file is working';
    ?>
    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated - once I can get php to write simple text files I should be ok. Thanks.

    Thanks for your help.
    I have got Flash working to a certain extent with PHP using loadVars but have been unable to get flash to receive a variable declared in PHP. Here's my Flash code:
    var outLV = new LoadVars();
    var inLV = new LoadVars();
    function sendData() {
    outLV.hsdata = "Hello from Flash";
    outLV.sendAndLoad("http://www.mysite.com/hiscores/test23.php",inLV,"post");
    inLV.onLoad = function(success) {
    if (success) {
      //sets dynamic text box to show variable sent from php
      statusTxt.text = phpmess;
    } else {
      statusTxt.text = "No Data Received";
    This works ok and the inLV.onLoad function reports that it is receiving data but does not display the variable received from PHP. The PHP file is like this:
    <?php
    $mytxt =$_POST['hsdata'];
    $myfile = "test23.txt";
    $fh = fopen($myfile,'w');
    //adds data to file
    fwrite($fh, $mytxt);
    //closes file
    fclose ($fh);
    $mess = "hello there from php";
    echo ("&phpmess=$mess&");
    ?>
    The PHP file is correctly receiving the hsdata from flash and writing it to a text file, but there seems to be a problem with the final part of the code which is intended to send a variable called 'phpmess' back to Flash, this is the string "hello there from php". How do I set up Flash and PHP so that PHP can send a variable back to Flash using echo? Really have tried everything but am totally baffled. Online tutorials have given numerous different syntax configurations for how the PHP file should be written which has really confused me - any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • What's wrong with this simple java file

    I am learning java input methods. When I tried to compile the below simple java file, there were two errors.
    import java.io.*;
    public class MainClass {
       public static void main(String[] args)  {
        Console console = System.console();
        String user = console.readLine("user: ");
        System.out.println(user);
    }The compiler errors:
    h:\java\MainClass.java:5: cannot resolve symbol
    symbol : class Console
    location: class MainClass
    Console console = System.console();
    ^
    h:\java\MainClass.java:5: cannot resolve symbol
    symbol : method console ()
    location: class java.lang.System
    Console console = System.console();
    ^
    2 errors
    Could anyone take a look and shed some lights on this?

    I have changed to "import java.io.Console;" but this below errors:

  • Doubt om Dynamic Configuration of receiver file

    Hello ,
      for Acheiving the Dynamic configuration of receiver file name ,adapter specific message attribute is used...But how to suppress the name of file in the content of the Received file...
    Is my question correct..do we get the file name in content of the receiver file,while using the Adapter specifc message attribute.
    And another question ,in the Variable substitution ...do we get the above problem,then how to tackle the situation to suprress the file name in the payload of receiver file.

    HI,
    You can handle the dynamic file name via Dynamic configuration or with the help of Variable Substitution.
    Please refer

    I did some more research and found out that method loadURLs of class MetaInfFacesConfigResourceProvider.java is throwing IOException. Is this some kind of class path issue? Please help!
    private Collection<URL> loadURLs(ServletContext context) throws IOException {
    154
    155 Set<URL> urls = new HashSet<URL>();
    156 for (Enumeration<URL> e = Util.getCurrentLoader(this).getResources(META_INF_RESOURCES); e.hasMoreElements();) {
    157 urls.add(e.nextElement());
    158 }
    159 urls.addAll(Arrays.asList(Classpath.search("META-INF/", ".faces-config.xml")));
    160 // special case for finding taglib files in WEB-INF/classes/META-INF
    161 Set paths = context.getResourcePaths(WEB_INF_CLASSES);
    162 if (paths != null) {
    163 for (Object path : paths) {
    164 String p = path.toString();
    165 if (p.endsWith(".taglib.xml")) {
    166 urls.add(context.getResource(p));
    167 }
    168 }
    169 }
    170 return urls;
    171
    172 }

    I did a couple of things ( gathered from various posts on OTN). I am not sure which one did the trick but the error is gone now. I am mentioning the steps that I took. Later when I have more time, I will narrow down to exactly what worked.
    1. The following was missing from my web.xml (Thanks Rene!) Added it
    <listener>
    <listener-class>com.sun.faces.config.ConfigureListener</listener-class>
    </listener>
    2. Removed any mention of 'Anonymous-User' from Jazn-data.xml.
    Application tab -> Secure -> Configure ADF Security -> Jazn-data.xml (source tab and removed block of code referring to anonymous user)
    Hope this will help others.

  • Java.lang.SecurityException using a simple jar file

    I created my small application using JDev 11.
    Running from JDev it works well.
    I created a simple jar file including all my classes and all libraries I used.
    Whe I try to run that jar file I get :
    java.lang.SecurityException: no manifiest section for signature file entry javax/mail/internet/AsciiOutputStream.classI didn't find any solution.
    I worked hardly with JDev 10g but I never had such problem.

    I simply created a project containing some classes whish use java mail.
    Then I modified the project creating, in the deployment wizard, a "Dependency Analysis" filegroup adding all my classes as well as libraries.
    I uncheck the "Include Manifest" chek otherwise I would run into different problems (well documented in the forum).
    The jar file is created but when I run the application I get the Security error.
    If I remove java mail libraries (activation and java mail)from the list of used libraries and I add it to classpath it works fine.
    I suspect the problem could be in Manifes merging.
