Confirm OK/Cancel: could not stop processing after redirect

I am have a problem doing a JavaScript confirmation which in a cfinclude file in the process page.
When the display page send content to the process page, and process page first do some validation which is included in a cfinclude file. The issue is user need to choose from a confirmation message box, choose OK to continue processing, Cancel to send user to previous display page. Every thing seems working, except when user choose Cancel and is sent to the previous page, the execution on the process page continues anyway, behind scene though. Without server process validation you may not realize it. but the truth is it does not stop when user choose Cancel.
So I need your insights how to handle the situation: give user choice to choose but when user select Cancel, stop the execution of the code after cfinclude.
Is there anyway to do the message box without JavaScript? If only it could be done in Coldfusion, then the problem solve, by setting a coldfusion variable to stop the execution.

Keep in mind that cf runs on the server, js runs on the client, and the two don't know what the other is doing. You have a couple of choices.
1. Put the validation on the initial page so that selecting cancel keeps them on that page.
2. Have a page that does validation and nothing else. Have the rest of the code on another page. Use js to send the user to the proper page depending on what they select with the confirm dialogue.

and i faced error during Excution phase 5.6 in JAVA Stack.

This is an error that is very common on message boards, and only seems to happen fore firefox...people on chrome, IE, etc don't seem to get it. This error has been occuring since the very first version of firefox and has never been fixed since.
You get this error when you have a thread open in a tab and try to reply to it after somet ime has passed. Refreshing it doesn't fit the problem unless you use ctrl+f5. It's very annoying, when is it going to get fixed?

Well yes, ctrl+f5 will fix it...but why doesn't this problem happen in other browsers (apparently)?
It's particularly annoying when i close the browser at the end of every day and have to manually refresh all my message board tabs the next day to post.

What does 'Appliance Error (configuration error) Your request could not be processed because of a configuration error: account is disabled' mean?

All of a sudden Safari on my MacBook Air won't let me do anything. I have a Mac OS X Version 10.7.5.
As soon as I open Safari, a message comes up straight away saying 'Appliance Error (configuration error) Your request could not be processed because of a configuration error: account is disabled'.
I also can't check for system updates because of a 'network error' and can't connect to the App Store.
My internet is working fine and safari is working fine on both my iPhone and iPad.
I've never seen this message before and I'm not having much luck in searching for an answer.
This may be a silly question, I don't know, but does anyone have a solution?

I use person 92543 as my activity partner. So it would be B2C scenario. I customize the account partner function in my BP determination. But system show same error. When I touch a row of partners list , the error disappear. it is strange.

Just wanted to update the community on my exciting adventure to fix my ipad;
I made my way over to the Apple Store here in South Florida and had my appointment with the geniuses. No one could figure this sucker out! They did every thing they could think of to the ipad without success. Couldn't even tell me what the problem was. All were very nice about it, of course. I was told to wait a day while they contacted the great and powerful central genius(es) but apparently no one was home there since they never responded to the request for help.
Anyway, I will go back to the Apple Store one more time before I give in to the conclusion that my 3 year old iPad (original) is DOA

Hi guys,
I have deployed a WAR file on to my managed server.
While my managed server is up and running. and the application was deployed successfully and is in the active state, I am unable to test the application.
When i try to test the client url of the application, it gives me a "FORBIDDEN 403.....you do not have permission to access" error.
I checked the logs and this is what i got.
[WARN ][osal ] Could not enumerate processes (1) error=-1073738819
[WARN ][osal ] Could not add counter (null)\ for query
[WARN ][osal ] Failed to init virtual size counter
This is strange coz, I am able to deploy and test applications on other machines.
When I did some googling around, I found out that...the issue might have occurred due to some oracle provider might be disabled.
I followed this blog to change the setting. But did not resolved the issue.

Error "Could not retrieve process instance" w UWL-GP thru Load Balancer

Hi,
We're using NW'04s EP SP14 for developing our portal website. An external load balancer balances the load between two portal instances CI & DI.
We are getting an Exception "Could not retrieve process instance: contact your system administrator" when we try to access the UWL Requests through the Load Balancer though it is working fine with the direct HostName in the URL.
SAP Note 1026119 did not solve the issue.
Has anyone faced such an issue before?

i used to work on oracle 11g xe R2 with glassfish 3.1.1. apex 4.1 on win 2008 server . but recently i have to learn the multimedia features. so, i downloaded oracle Standard edition 11g R2.
I installed it on the old installation of XE. in the installation I chose: the UPGRADE option.
then I uninstalled glassfish 3.1 and installed Glassfish 3.2.
When i tried to configure the listener, i get this error :

Bad Request
The HTTP client sent a request that this server could not understand.I hope that you are able to help for all my apps on this database ..

which port does your GF 3.2 use? Could it be you are (back) on port 8080 and your database upgrade also (re)enabled XDB HTTP server on that (default) port?
