ConflictStart Error

Hi,
          I have two weblogic servers setup as a cluster. Both are running on NT. I am
          not using a shared file system. Both servers have identical setup.
          When I start the servers I get a ConflictStart error
          The error message looks like:
          Thu Mar 16 16:17:32 PST 2000:<I> <ConflictHandler> ConflictStart
          weblogic.jms.SessionPoolManager:weblogic.jms.server.JMSSessionPoolManager

          Any ideas why? Thanks in advance.

Good Luck... I logged an issue with support and still haven't gotten an
          answer that makes sense.

    Make sure you use the -clusterable tag when you compile your stubs using
              weblogic.rmic.

  • Re: fileSystem

    I am using the T3FileSystem in a clustered environment, and i have set
              weblogic.io.fileSystem.name the property in the clustered
              weblogic.properties file. When the first weblogic server is started it
              logs no problems, but when the second is started a ConflictHandler
              conflictstart error is logged
              Tue Feb 13 12:06:49 CET 2001:<I> <ConflictHandler> ConflictStart

              on both servers. I presume this is as the first has registered the file
              system service in the cluster JNDI tree, and then the second server
              tries to register the same service with the same jndi lookup name in the
              cluster JNDI tree. Does this mean that the T3FileSystem is not a
              clusterable service ??
              We are currently using weblogic 4.5, but we are moving to 5.1 soon. This
              is running on Solaris.
              Thanks in advance for any information

    I guess my question is since WLS is obviously doing the JNDI binding behind the scenes of these
              "non-clusterable" objects, shouldn't WLS be responsible for doing the binding with the
              replicateBindings flag set to false (or provide a switch to configure this)?
              Just my two cents,

    Running WLS5.1, sp3, on NT4 sp5.

              When starting the server i receive the following error:
              'Error creating servlet context for web application 'blah blah blah'

              When trying to access the URL http://localhost:7001/cookie/ I receive a 404

              No luck in searching thru docs or prior posts in the newsgroups. Does anyone
              have any idea what's going on here?

  • Clustering config error

    I have recently set up 2 clustered machines and think I have something
              mis-configured. I have build and deployed the Teller EJB sample from
              Weblogic, and am getting some strange results.
              When I start the client, it will run exclusively off of one or the other
              machine (the server I started first). If I shut down the one in use, the
              client will not fail over the the secondary, but rather error out. The
              secondary machine reports the following error:

              If I use either machine individually, the client works fine through the
              cluster name 'mycluster'.
              Here is the setup:
              2 Windows machines (1 NT-IP 1.1.2.249, 1 Win2K-1.1.0.249),
              Shared network drive with weblogic 5 on it (no SP's added)
              Any suggestions would be appreciated

    One another reason why you might see conflict handlers is that, if try to bind
              two different clusterable services with the same name. In your case it is
              possible that both ejbs that are getting bound doesn't have the same name.

  • ConflictHandler ConflictStart

    Anyone know what causes this error message?
              I am trying to start up a cluster with 2 servers running replicated RMI
              objects. I'm doing this on the same machine and I when I start up the
              second instance, I get
              <ConflictHandler> ConflictStart
              weblogic.rmi/MyRemoteObject:com.yadayaday.MyRemoteInterface_WLStub?
              thanks for the help,
              Edwin

    When you try to bind an non clusterable rmi object in jndi tree on two
              servers, the conflict handlers kicks in to resolve the conflict since there
              cannot be two bindings in the jndi tree with the same name.

  • Error in starting Adobe Bridge in Photoshop CS2

    I've just installed Photoshop CS2, however upon opening Adobe Bridge this error message appears " The application has failed to start because libagluc28.dll was not found. Reinstalling to application may fix the problem"
    I have reinstalled and click repair but to no avail
    I followed Adobe Support Knowledgebase solution and run CMD and this appears:
    c:Documents and Settings/Jesus M Ferraris>
    then i entered the command
    cacls c:\windows\installer /T /E /C /G administrators:F
    but an error message appears - 'cacls' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or bathc file
    I also entered the next command
    cacls "c:\documents and setting\all users" /Y /E /C /G administrators:F
    still the same error as above appears, Please help, have I miss something or was my procedure correct...

  • Windows Vista: Ipod Error Message, no longer read by PCs

    Hello,
    I have a 5th generation black ipod video with 30GB of memory.
    The other day I hooked it up to my laptop (Toshiba, 4 months old) that it's been functioning on with no problems whatsoever. This weird error message flashed twice about it not being able to sync because of some software problem.
    Eversince then, the only thing I can charge my ipod on is the family treadmill in the basement (~_~) as no other computer in the house recognizes it. I can't even charge it through the wall sockets, either.
    I have changed the ipod cord, still no luck. I've also reset the device about 3 or 4 times and uninstalled, restarted the laptop then reinstalled itunes. I would like to reset it back to factory settings but that's impossible as computers/laptops don't pick it up. I live very far from a Mac store...
    What's a girl to do? I can't live without my Busta Rhymes and Wu-Tang Clan!
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    you have to update Vista go to this site and up-date http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

  • Error while offsetting a variable

    Hello Experts
    I want to display the data for last 5 years in my query. So I tried using the SAP exit variable Current Calendar Year (0CYEAR) and the offset it by 5. However, I am getting the following error message for the query "System error in program SAPLRR12 and form REP_ASSIGN_INITIAL_OPT-01"
    Any Help on this is appreciated and points will be assigned.
    Thanks

    Thanks Chetan for your prompt reply. I have assigned points.
    But I would appreciate if you help me clear my understanding of offseting a variable.
    Say if the Current Calendar Year variable returns 2008, then will offseting that variable by 5 return me the data for years 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005 , 2004. Or, will it just return me the data for 2008 - 5 = 2004 only.
    Thanks
    Rishi

  • Open vi error for report generation toolkt

    Originally it works fine.
    Now I upgrade to win7, LV9 and office2010.
    To open the old program by 8.6.1, I reinstalled LV 8.6.1 and report generation toolkit.
    But still got the error as attached.
    Any suggestion, thanks.

    1. MS Office 2010 is not yet supported, since it's still just a beta. I believe there are couple of changes that Microsoft make, and it could cause a problem.
    2. LabVIEW 8.6.1, and all its toolkit is not supported on Windows 7. This could cause a problkem also.
    In conclusion, you should use LabVIEW 2009, Report Generation Toolkit 2009, Windows 7, and downgrade office to XP, 2003 or 2007.

  • Error in cast a variable

    these are few lines from my long STORED PROCEDURE actually i am new to oracle 11g please
    declare
    v_s nvarchar2(10);
    p_RN nvarchar2(10);
    begin
    v_s := v_s || cast(p_RN as nvarchar2(10)); - ERROR IS COMING IN THIS LINE
    end;
    error

    *Cause:    Usually a PL/SQL compilation error.
    *Action:
    please somebody help me

    Just a little explanation about the error message.
    ORA-06550: line 5, column 39:
    PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "(" when expecting one of the following:
    Line 5 column 39 is the starting parenthesis of the "(10)". For using cast you can't add a lenght to the datatype.
    If you change that, then you get a different error message:
    declare
    v_s nvarchar2(10);
    p_RN varchar2(10);
    begin
      v_s := v_s || cast(p_RN as nvarchar2); -- ERROR IS COMING IN THIS LINE
    end;
    Fehler beim Start in Zeile 13 in Befehl:
    declare
    v_s nvarchar2(10);
    p_RN varchar2(10);
    begin
      v_s := v_s || cast(p_RN as nvarchar2); -- ERROR IS COMING IN THIS LINE
    end;
    Fehlerbericht:
    ORA-06550: line 5, column 22:
    PLS-00382: expression is of wrong type
    ORA-06550: line 5, column 3:
    PL/SQL: Statement ignored
    06550. 00000 -  "line %s, column %s:\n%s"
    *Cause:    Usually a PL/SQL compilation error.
    *Action:ORA-06550: line 5, column 22:
    PLS-00382: expression is of wrong type
    This shows that you can't convert/cast a nvarchzar type into another nvarchar type.
    It would work if you cast a number into a varchar2 type for example
    declare
    v_s nvarchar2(10);
    p_RN number(10);
    begin
      v_s := v_s || cast(p_RN as nvarchar2); -- ERROR IS COMING IN THIS LINE
    end;
    anonymer Block abgeschlossen.

    Hi Rachit
    You answered my doubt.This one really works . Thanks a lot !
    But i have one more doubt i.e if have created the Presentation variable in the dashboard prompt and I want to use it in a report
    i.e the scenario is If I have created a new column i.e " Revised Salary " in the Presentation Services and want the values to be entered there dynamically upon end users choice. For ex the end user selecrts value of 1 then the report would display an increament of 500 to all the employees in the " Revised Salary " column and if the end user select value of 2 .. the report would display a decrement of 500 in the " Revised salary column".
    I am getting the following error :

    ========================================================================
    Please NOTE : The column on which I want to do an increament is : "F1 Revenue"."1-01 Revenue (Sum All)"
    Thanks
