Connect Notebook to TV

How do you connect a Toshiba NB505-N500BL to a Toshiba 32TL515U LCD TV?
Do I use a VGA to HDMI cable or a VGA to RCA cable ?
Have been told to use a VGA to HDMI cable and plug into the HDMI port on TV.
Could not find any detailed information in manual for Notebook or TV.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

See the section Connecting a Personal Computer on p. 18 of the TV's Owner’s Manual. Use the PC IN terminal on the TV with an analog RGB (15-pin) computer cable and a PC audio cable as it says.

No, that won't work... it connects VGA to DVI. There is no VGA connector on the iPad.

Failed to launce HDMI connection when connection Notebook to TV

Dear All,
I have a problem connecting my PC to the TV using a HDMI-cabel since I installed windows8
My PC: HP Pavilion dv6-3160sd Entertainment Notebook PC
operating system: Windows 8
I tried to search for drivers that I needed to install or something, but on the HP site this does not seem to work for my PC with windows 8. Does anyone know what to do in order to be able to connect my PC to my TV using a HDMI cabel again?

Anybody can tell me what kind of VGA Connector should I buy (show me the web site pls), which for my Toshiba Satellite to make connection with my Playstation 3. Then I can use my Laptop to play the game and need not to use my TV set.

I also think something like this will not be possible. you must understand that your notebook and graphic card are designed to send video/audio signal to external device and there is no port for video in.
All I can imagine is to check for some external product like external video card that can send video signal over USB port or something similar.
Try to speak with your local dealer in nearest electro store.

Error message while closing mobile sales on a vpn-connected notebook

We're working with Mobile Sales 4.0 on laptops with WinXP ...
When our field service stay connect via vpn with the central server sometimes it happens that an error-message pop up if Mobile Sales shall be closed. The text is "this program is used to host and to initialize the UF F found a problem ...". What does this text mean? What is "UF"? Why raises this error?

3. Locate the installed bin path of the Mobile application. Usually it

I also think you should use S-Video cable for connection. I used it with my old Tecra M3 to connect to old Samsung TV. Everything worked fine.
As Keany already wrote, when you connect notebook to the TV be sure right port is enabled. Maybe you can do this using AV button on the TV remote controller.
After enabling right port on TV use FN+F5 key combination to switch from LCD to TV.

As you can see: Just connect the cable and use FN+F5 key combination to switch between monitors.

No sound on LCD TV when Satellite A200 is connected via HDMI

The problen is: I connect notebook (A200) to LCD TV (Philips) by HDMI. The video is OK, but sound stay on notebook not in LCD TV.
May be the problem is HDMI 1.2 does not support sound and video together? Only 1.3?

Sound should work with every HDMI cable as far as I know. Have two of them, one with HDMI 1.3 and another one, which I don't even know, but I guess not the 1.3 standard, as it was pretty cheap.
To enable sound via HDMI you will have to go to control panel - sound. There select the digial output device as standard. Make sure you have closed the media player or any program which has sound output before. Then start player again and sound should now be heard through TV.

Hi, I have an laptop Toshiba Satellite A660-13Q and want to connect to an Led TV. What cable should I use and where to connect? Vga to Hdmi or Hdmi to Hdmi?

What you have are two devices that belong to newest technology and to connect notebook to TV you must use best offered possibility and it is definitely HDMI to HDMI connection.
Buy high quality cable, connect both devices, enable certain port on TV and use FN+F5 key combination on your notebook to switch between LCD and TV.
Several different modes will be offered and choose the mode you prefer.

I have read the manual and done everything it has said.
Now my pc boots up on it ok but my TV keeps telling me no signal after the boot-up is done.

Cann't connect to WLC 2504

Good day.
I have new installation of AIR-CT2504. I try to connect by console, but no response on terminal. (Use notebook+ USB -COM + console cable). When connect ethernet cable to 1st port of WLC and switch port(SF200) i see controller by CDP. At first, when I see IP-address of WLC, connect notebook to it's port, and configure controller with Web-interface (maybe somthing incorrect). I change IP-address of management interface. WLC reboot, and now i cann't connect to it anymore.
By CDP I see new IP and native VLAN 0, but cann't ping it.
How can I configure WLC now? Or what trouble with console?
P.S. Sory for my bad english.

Well the wireless equipment is different. If you console into the AP, does it work? If not, then double check your settings.
Make sure of this. This can be different from the switches and routers.

- Start the movie on your notebook using preinstalled WinDVD application
