Connect VS2010 to Admin Console of Remote Computer

Hi I want to use VS2010 on my local machine to deploy on another server.
Although I have connect my BizTalk Admin Cosole Group to Group of other Server. But , when I run deploy, it still deploys on local machine and not on connected one (other machine).
Please advise.
And, please don't suggest about creating MSI and then importing etc.. I know all that.
I want local deploy from VS on one to Admin console of other.
Thanks

Hi Prabhdeep,
Give your remote “SQL server” name where BizTalkMgmtDb resides in your BizTalk project’s deployment properties in Visual studio.
If you have given the server name properly, this would deploy the BizTalk application in the given server as long as you have sufficient rights. This will not by default deploy in your local server. This
will either deploy in the given server or will throw an exception.
Are you sure you’re giving the remote machine’s SQL Server name where BizTalkMgmtDb reside not the remote BizTalk processing server name.
Also another important point, once you change the deployment server properties in the deployment tab,
save the changes. Visual Studio would not save this changes automatically when you deploy the solution after changing the server details but without saving the changes manually.
If this answers your question please mark it accordingly. If this post is helpful, please vote as helpful.

  • Could not retain the repository connections in portal admin console.

    Hi
i have created additional WLP repository (stream based) in oracle.
and configured as datasource in server console. and added respective JNDI name in portal admin console.
and i could add/delete the content. But when ever i am restarting the machine i am loosing the added connection from portal admin console only.the connection configuration server console is safe.
each time i have to configure it with same JNDI name add work with it in portal admin console only when ever i restart the machine.
The content and datasources configuration is safe .
but When ever i am creating additional WLP repository i could not see the respective details have updated in content-mgmt.xml in EAR meta-inf.
is that because of that. if so why it is getting updated when it is adding new connection in admin console.

When you create a Repository connection at run-time using the Portal Admin, the configuration is written to a Deployment Plan. By default, the Deployment Plan is written to a location which can be deleted during an application redeployment. You can specify a location for the deployment plan, which will not get deleted, via the WebLogic Server Console or you can add the information to the content-config.xml in <earProject>/meta-inf.

  • OSX 10.4.7 Workgroup Admin problem from remote computer

I've set up for test a 10.4 server on a private network.
On this server, I've created with Workgroup Admin some accounts for files, mail and web. I've no problem to access nd modify these accounts with the tools installe on the server, but when I try to do the same thing from a remote Workgroup Admin, I've an empty list for users and group, except the admin user.
The fact is that i've changed the DNS setup from a dyndns account to a classical dns entry.
Is there any correlation between the DNS changement entry and the fact that I cannot retreive my users entries in Workgroup and how restore a normal usage.
    Thanks for help !

Are you looking in the correct domain from the remote machine?
You may just be looking in the local netinfo domain of the server, and you need to be looking in the OD domain.
Open WorkGroup Manager and in the top left under the 'Admin' globe you will see another small globe. Click on this and use th pulldown menu to check you are looking at the /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1 domain.

  • Run batch file on a remote computer

I am looking for syntax so that I can run a batch file that is on my computer and I want to run it on a remote computer. I am thinking I can do this with psexec but have not been able to figure out the correct syntax.

    psexec.exe -s \\namepc -u yourusername -p yourpassword cmd /k c:\blabla\Install.bat
Install.bat must be on some folder on remote pc and I think that is only posible way.
U can change \\namepc with @blabla.txt file with computers list if you want to run that bat file on more computers.
Your account in this example must have admin rights on remote computer.

  • SCCM 2012 R2 CU3 UPGRADE BROKE REMOTE ADMIN CONSOLE CONNECTIVITY

I installed SCCM 2012 R2 CU3 on my site server but it broke a couple things. I've never had problems with SCCM upgrades before. The admin console works if you log into the site server and run it from there but not when you try it from anywhere else (another
server or a workstation). When you open the admin console on the site server it does have the new version of 5.00.7958.1401. Of the five suggestions that appear when your console won't connect, here's what I know:
    1) the remote machines can all ping the site server (call it server 01)
    2) we know it's not my account that's a problem as I can open the console on the site server itself
    3) This problem happens on server 02, which I put the new admin console on. It also happens with other machines which still have the CU2 console
    4) Yes, I'm an admin role, shown by logging into the console on the site server
    5) I have another network where everything works. I have not put CU3 on it yet, of course. The WMI permissions on Root, Root\SMS, and Root\SMS\site_ABC are identical on both site servers yet it works on non-upgraded one and not on the upgraded one.
WMI info-I can WMI connect from the site server to these other machines but not WMI connect from the other machines to the site server: not root, SMS, or SMS\site_ABC, nor cimv2, even though the permissions match what is on the working network.
When I launch the console from the site server entries about loading the console loading ok are in SMSAdminUI.log, but when I try to launch the console from other machines no entries are made, even though I changed the SmsAdminSNapIN value to VERBOSE.
I checked DCOM permissions and they are the same on both networks.
Another issue that appeared with this upgrade: I can install the client upgrade to CU3 on other machines but on the site server it fails with "Internal Error 2503" and when you click OK it you get "Internal Error 2502".
    Ben JohnsonWY

I'd suspected this WMI problem was only affecting our Server 2012 boxes. I compared RSOPs and noticed the ones having this problem were all under the same OU and getting few GPOs. Our GPO person found a GPO that has somehow become unlinked.  He relinked
it. After a gpo update AND a reboot these machines start working again.  So CU3 did not cause this WMI after all.
And yes, the CU2 consoles won't connect to a CU3 site server, you have to run the console upgrade.
I fixed the "internal error 2503/2502" by doing this: open task manager, click details, end the explorer task (screen will look blank at first). Click File and select "start new task", enter "explorer.exe' and click the run as admin
button. The msp for CU3 client installed and the screen looks normal again. I only saw this error on the site server and have never seen it before.

  • Unable to connect to DPM Database through Remote Admin Console

    Hello all,
I have a fresh install of DPM 2012 server.  I am able to locally start the Admin Console and work with the DPM server, however when I attempt this remotely, I get the following error:
Unable to connect to the DPM database on <database instances name> (ID: 33210).
I have verified this is a firewall issue by disabling the firewall and connecting.  I would, however, like to create firewall rules for just the ports that are necessary, and have not been able to find the correct ports by following tutorials online.
     Any help is appreciated.
I have attempted the tutorial here: http://blog.patricknielsen.net/2011/10/dpm-2010unable-to-connect-to-dpm.html which seemed on the spot, but brings no
    joy.
    Much appreciated,
    J

    Hi,
The blog should have worked, but add the program exceptions in windows firewall on the DPM server, again but don't restrict the port usage.
    1. %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft System Center 2012\DPM\SQL\MSSQL10_50.<DPM SQL Instance>\MSSQL\Binn\sqlservr.exe
    2. %ProgramFiles% (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Shared\sqlbrowser.exe

  • SCCM 2012 R2 CU2 Admin Console Connects But Closes In A Few Seconds

I built a new SCCM 2012 R2 CU2 suite on Server 2012 R2. There are four servers: site server, secondary DP, WSUS/SUP, and a SQL server. On the first three the SCCM Admin Console will open. But when logged into the SQL server, the Admin Console opens
for a couple seconds, then closes. The SQL box can connect via wbemtest to
\\server\root\sms\site_ABC. I have checked all the items that show on the screen when your console won't connect. There are  no errors in the smsprovl.log on the site server. I think this problem is on the SQL server.
This is one of three problems I've had a lot of difficulty with on this network. I'm making separate threads for all three
    Ben JohnsonWY

I have been able to verify this problem generates 4 entries in Event Viewer/System logs. In the order they get generated by first in time:
1st - A fatal error was generated and sent to a remote endpoint. This may result in termination of the connection. The TLS protocol defined fatal error code is 43. The Windows Schannel error state is 552.
2nd - The certificate received from the remote server does not contain the expected name. It is therefore not possible to determine whether we are connecting to the correct server. The server name we were expecting was (the IP of the SQL server). The
SSL connection request has failed. The attached data contains the server certificate.
3rd - DCOM was unable to communicate with the server servername.fqdn using any of the configured protocols; requested by PID 3cb8 (C:Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Configuration Manager\AdminConsole\bin\Microsoft.ConfigurationManagement.exe)
4th - an exact repeat of the 3rd entry.

  • Installed BPC 7.0 for MS, but cannot connect to server in admin console

I have installed BPC 7.0, and in the server manager, everything is ok, and seems to be running and there are no errors.  When I attempt to connect to the server with the Admin Console, I am getting the following error:
"The sstem cannot connect to the XXXXX Application server.  Verify that you have Specified a valid Application server name, or see if the Application server is unavailable at this time"
    any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
I would request you to try few things.
    1. This is might be because there are other processes using port 1080.
Log on to the application server via Remote Desktop.
Open Task Manager and select the Processes tab.
Select ManagementAgentNT.exe and choose End Process.
Select RouterNT.exe and choose End Process.
Log into IIS and START the Default Website.
    2. Another possible cause can be if the Server and Client are running different versions of BPC. If the version of BPC is different on the server and the client then an uninstall will need to be done on the client
    3. The APPINFO.XML file is corrupt. Delete the APPINFO.XML file located on the client machine in folder "My Documents\OutlookSoft" and login again using the connection wizard.
Hope one of the above resolves your issue.

     Hi Mike,
    I have same kind of
VMM Crashing  issue but error looks different.
I have one SCVMM Server ( Win2008 R2 SP1) and to manage 20 host servers with 300 clients and it was running fine since 30 months. Recently I observed
that Virtual Machine manager service is not getting started  automatically , due to that SCVMM console is not establishing the connection. If we forced to start the VMM service, then we are able connect the SCVMM console. But every 5 or 10 min console
was disconnecting and restarting the console. We are getting below 2 error codes. Please help me on this.
I have hosted IN-SCVMM1 server on
hyper-v virtual machine with 16GBRAM and 2 Processors.

  • JDBC connect from remote computer fails

    Hi all,
I have successfully installed the XE server and I can connect over JDBC from clients running locally on the machine where the XE server is installed.
However when I try to connect from a remote computer using the same client I get an error saying: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
I can ping the machine with XE installed and all firewalls on the machines are turned off.
Any ideas on the subject of JDBC remote connect to XE server? Or is it simply that it is not supported?
Appreciate all the help I can get.
    Thanks,
    /Anders

On my machine I have the listener bound to local interface.
Listener.ora has hostname in it, and this is the listener status:
As status shows the hostname is resolved to localhost, on this machine I am unable (with this configuration) to share the db to other machines (I do not have oracle client on my other pc, but telnet is unable to connect to port 1521).
    Changing hostname to ipaddres solves.

  • Remote Computer Management Using Local Admin Credentials?

As per your requirement, I would suggest you to have a look on Lepide remote admin tool that allows to remotely administer single or multiple computers in the entire network simultaneously spread across multiple domains. Tool is free.

If you are running as a standard user on your workstation and need to user the Computer Management mmc to remotely manage a second Windows workstation on your domain, how do you do this without using a domain account that is local admin on the remote system? If you open computer management locally first, you are prompted by UAC for local admin credentials on your local machine before you can even open Computer Management. If you provide those credentials and then try to connect to the remote computer using the mmc interface, you will get access denied errors if the administrator account isn't the same on both systems. It just fails without prompting for alternate credentials. Is there any workaround to get it to prompt and allow you to enter the local admin user credentials for the remote PC?I know you can get around this by using a...

I installed the Oracle XE client on the remote computer but still the application cant connect to the oracle server from the remote computer.
    this is my connection string:
    sCon = "Provider=MSDAORA;Data Source=xe;User Id=myUser;Password=myPw;"
the computer on which oracle xe express is located is called "Hagar1".

the remote client doesn't know how to get to hagar1, simplest fix is add the entry to the tnsnames.ora file, run a tnsping hagar1 to find the location of the client oracle_home/network/admin/tnsnames.ora file and add:
    hagar1 =
       (DESCRIPTION =
        (ADDRESS_LIST =
          (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = xe_hostIP_or_name )(PORT = 1521))
        (CONNECT_DATA =
          (SID = XE)
