I connected a new 2nd iphone to my laptop. When asked to setup as new or to restore from backup, I chose restore because I thought it would load all of the apps and their relevant data faster. Now I'm wondering if I shouldn't have done that. My 1st phone is my work phone and now my 2nd phone (personal) has my work Exchange information loaded in it and they are both syncing my personal phone number it seems. Maybe I should have set it up as new? How do I change that?

If you don't transfer the backup for your other iPhone or leave it as is, you must set up and transfer everything manually after restoring your new iPhone as a new iPhone or not from the backup.

The only way that I know currently know of to remove old or incorrect email addresses from the Mail app is to reset the iPad back to factory defaults, which I assume that you don't want to to. You could try leaving feedback for Apple and maybe one day we'll day be able to edit them : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html#ipad

Macbook pro fails to read sd card with movies recorded on it, any ideas? I can view them in the video camera so know they are there somewhere. I am now thinking I should have formatted or initialised the new card before using it.

My macbook pro is failing to read a new sd card with movies recorded on it. Any ideas please? A previously used SD card has downloaded without problems. I have tried using a card reader as well as downloading from the video camera itself, neither works.
I can view the latest recordings on the video camera so know they are there somewhere. I am now thinking I should have formatted or initialised the new card before using it but didn't think of that at the time. Obviously don't want to do this now as it will wipe the movies.

any help would make me happy. As it stands now from looking on the web it can't be deleted but making sure before i return this ipod touch. I wan't a clean item the way I wan't it and not how they want it. Like I do not need Itunes and App Store on this ipod because I use my computer only to shop, So many things i like out of the ipod and I am sure lots more people also would like a cleaner ipod/phone or what ever.

I have just added new CD (Rod Stewart Unplugged) to iTunes. It sounds awful - crackly and distorted - when played back thorugh my laptop and on iPod Classic. The CD sounds great on my CD player. (Other CD record fine onto iTunes). How can i fix this?

What operating system are you runing? Lion 10.7.2 is required for iCloud.

You can't do anything, except use a different device (or a Mac) to setup iCloud and then transfer the details to the phone you bought.
Clearly your friend setup multiple iCloud accounts for some reason (you only need one) using up all the allocation for that device, and didn't tell you before selling you the phone.

After i updated to ios6, apps were asking for access to my iphotos . i said no to my first one before i realized i should have said yes. How do i fix this?? i tried re-installing the app and nothing!!! Very frustrated!! HELP PLEASE!!!

i updated to ios 6 on the 19th. i went into echofon and tried to save a photo and it asked me to grant echofon access to my photos. Without thinking, I said no. I realize now that inorder to save photos, I have to grant this access but I can't figure it out. I have deleted the app and re-installed it. I have searched the web and everything possible place on the phone itself hoping i could change it or something. But I can't find anything. Their website is of no help at all.
