  • Unable to connect to companies in current server as algorithm is not update; run common upgrade security algorithm

    Dear,
    I've had problems with the installation of version 9.0 PL04 (base) when trying to enter the base DemoUS, this system message I get: Unable to connect to companies in current server as algorithm is not update; run common upgrade security algorithm.
    Please someone has an idea how to fix (attached image of the message).

    Try this:
    1. Check if the SBO-Common database exist. If you cannot find SBO-Common database you must re-install SBO system on the server.
    2. If the SBO-Common database exists, then SAP Business One application version is higher than the SBO-Common database version. Perform version upgrade.

  • OWSM won't connect to ldap for authentication in policy

    System: 10.1.3 on Windows with SOA Suite
    I've got a web service deployed, got OWSM running, have registered the web service with a gateway component and have built a basic policy (just to log) in the Pipeline "request" and Pipeline "Response" parts of the governing policy; this basic policy works correctly. However, when I try to add an "Ldap Authenticate" step to the Pipeline "Request" part of the policy, OWSM doesn't seem to really try to connect to the LDAP. I have tried two LDAPs (Lotus Notes and OID) that are operational - I can access both of them via command line using the same credentials with which I configured the "Ldap Authenticate" step. Yet, when I invoke the web service with the "Ldap Authenticate" step configured in the policy I get the following exception:
    A fault was thrown in the step Client.AuthenticationFault:Invalid username or password
    I'm pretty dang sure I have entered the correct credentials in the "Ldap Authenticate" configuration (I checked it 45,000 times) - it seems that OWSM really isn't trying to connect to the LDAPs - and there's no logging that I've found that will tell me what it's really trying to do.
    Anyone have any hints or know what's going on?

    I have the same problem.
    With the help of Vikas's instuctions for changing log level I could log the gateway's activities:
    security.WSBasicCredsExtractor - Element Value:farbod
    security.WSBasicCredsExtractor - Element Value:mypassword
    security.WSBasicCredsExtractor - Successfully retrieved username and password
    security.WSBasicCredsExtractor - Removing the UsernameToken Header
    ldap.DirContextHolder - Creating new directory context
    ldap.LDAPAuthenticatorStep - Failed to connect to ldap server.
    I am unsure whether my LDAP settings in OWSM are correct:
    my server name is nfsserver.com(OID Server) and I have this user in OID:
    cn=farbod,cn=Users,dc=nfsserver,dc=com
    so I think these settings should work:
    LDAP host (*)      nfsserver
    LDAP port (*)      389
    User objectclass (*)      inetOrgPerson
    LDAP baseDN (*)      cn=Users,dc=nfsserver,dc=com
    LDAP adminDN (*)      cn=orcladmin,cn=Users,dc=nfsserver,dc=com
    LDAP admin password      ******
    LDAP admin login enabled (*)      true
    Uid Attribute (*)      string      uid
    User Attributes to be retrieved      uid
    Is the bold part correct?

  • Connecting to Sharepoint Online Access Web Tables - error - The business data connectivity metadata sore is currently unavailable

    I have a SharePoint Online E3 site kbhp2-public.SharePoint dot com  on which I have created an Access Web App.  Now, I need to use an External Content Type to access the underlying database tables, which I understand to be stored somewhere
    in Azure.  The ID of the server is bxh1ixb9lo.database.windows.net and the ID of the database is db_9857fa7d_4bf1_4558_be8c_24543b041e2.
    I have done the following so far:
    Set Metadata Store Permissions
    Created Secure Store credentials Mapping
    But when I opened the SharePoint site in SharePoint Designer and clicked on External Content Types, I get the Message:
    The business data connectivity metadata store is currently unavailable.
    Any guidance you can give me will be greatly appreciated

  • Connection with Ldap failed when Upgrade to Colfusion 8

    Hi,
    I have a problem with cfldap tag used in CF8. I have a cfldap tag defined in my application which works fine on CFMX7. But the moment I installed CF8, it gives me an error - "Connection to LDAP server failed."
    My cfldap tag goes as below:-
    [CFLDAP NAME="qLDAP"
    START = "O=myCompany,C=valueOfC"
    SERVER="ldapServerName"
    FILTER="(alias=myLdapAlias)"
    SORT="SN,GIVENNAME,ALIAS"
    ATTRIBUTES= "ALIAS,SN,MODIFYTIMESTAMP"
    ACTION="QUERY"
    SCOPE="SUBTREE"
    TIMEOUT="60000"
    referral="yes"
    secure="CFSSL_BASIC"
    USERNAME="cn=valueOfcn, ou=contractor, o=myCompany, c=valueOfc"
    PASSWORD="myLdapPassword"
    PORT="636"]
                       [cfdump var="#qLdap#"]
    The wierd thing is when I remove secure,username,password & port attributes from the above CFLDAP tag, it works fine & gets me LDAP results. The moment i put these attributes back in the CFLDAP tag, it fails. I had installed ssl secure on my IIS too. what else am I missing ?
    My error is - "Connection to LDAP server failed."
    When I expanded the stack trace, I get the following :-
    coldfusion.tagext.net.LdapTag$UnknownHostException: Connection to LDAP server failed.
    Need your help...............

    What is your current build?
    If you are getting a yellow triangle, most likely either the update.zip or update.xml are corrupt. You should be able to delete both files and try updating again.
    I used to have a:

    Any Good ADVICE would be welcomed.

    I already did what you advised - installing admin server on each machine. I tested throught connecting admin console,modifying ldap,mail config and adding users.
    To say about running 'comm_dssetup.pl' script , if I didn't I could not even setup and configure mail server.
    In a month, there is a chance to setup both mail and ldap servers on diferrent machines.
    I am a little bit worry. What did I wrong?
    welcomed... any words of advice..

    There are so many limitations on what can and cannot be done in Apps related forms so you should ask this question in the relevant Apps forum: OA Framework (I would think)

  • Current Security Context Not Trusted When Using Linked Server From ABAP

    Hello,
    I am experiencing a head-scratcher of a problem when trying to use a Linked Server connection to query a remote SQL Server database from our R/3 system.  We have had this working just fine for some time, but after migrating to new hardware and upgrading OS, DBMS, and R/3, now we are running into problems.
    The target database is a named instance on SQL Server 2000 SP3, Windows 2000 Server.  The original source R/3 system was 4.7x2.00, also on SQL Server 2000 (SP4), Windows 2000 Server.  I had been using a Linked Server defined via SQL Enterprise Manager (actually defined when the source was on SQL Server 7), which called an alias defined with the Client Network Utility that pointed to the remote named instance.  This alias and Linked Server worked great for several years.
    Now we have migrated our R/3 system onto new hardware, running Windows Server 2003 SP1 and SQL Server 2005 SP1.  The application itself has been upgraded to ECC 6.0.  I performed the migration with a homogeneous system copy, and everything has worked just fine.  I redefined the Linked Server on the new SQL 2005 installation, this time avoiding the alias and referencing the remote named instance directly, and it tests out just fine using queries from SQL Management Studio.  It also tests fine with OSQL called from the R/3 server console, both when logged on as SAPServiceSID with a trusted connection, and with a SQL login as the schema owner (i.e., 'sid' in lowercase).  From outside of R/3, I cannot make it fail.  It works perfectly.
    That all changes when I try to use the Linked Server within an ABAP application, however.  The basic code in use is
    EXEC SQL.
       SET XACT_ABORT ON
       DELETE FROM [SERVER\INSTANCE].DATABASE.dbo.TABLE
    ENDEXEC.
    The only thing different about this code from that before the upgrade/migration is the reference to [SERVER\INSTANCE] which previously used the alias of just SERVER.
    The program short dumps with runtime error DBIF_DSQL2_SQL_ERROR, exception CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR.  The database error code is 15274, and the error text is "Access to the remote server is denied because the current security context is not trusted."
    I have set the "trustworthy" property on the R/3 database, I have ensured SAPServiceSID is a member of the sysadmin SQL role, I've even made it a member of the local Administrators group on both source and target servers, and I've done the same with the SQL Server service account (it uses a domain account).  I have configured the Distributed Transaction Coordinator on the source (Win2003) system per Microsoft KB 839279 (this fixed problems with remote queries coming the other way from the SQL2000 system), and I've upgraded the system stored procedures on the target (SQL2000) system according to MS KB 906954.  I also tried making the schema user a member of the sysadmin role, but naturally that was disastrous, resulting in an instant R/3 crash (don't try this in production!), so I set it back the way it was (default).
    What's really strange is no matter how I try this from outside the R/3 system, it works perfectly, but from within R/3 it does not.  A search of SAP Notes, SDN forums, SAPFANS, Microsoft's KnowledgeBase, and MSDN Forums has not yielded quite the same problem (although that did lead me to learning about the "trustworthy" database property).
    Any insight someone could offer on this thorny problem would be most appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Matt

    Good news! We have got it to work. However, we did it in something of
    a backwards way, and I'm sure you'll laugh when you see how it was done. Also, the solution depends upon the fact that the remote server is still using SQL Server 2000, and so doesn't have quite so many restrictions placed upon it for distributed transactions and Linked Servers as SQL Server 2005 now does.
    At the heart of the solution is the fact that the Linked Server coming FROM the remote server TO our SAP system works fine. Finally, coupled with the knowledge that using DBCON on the SAP side to the remote server also does actually provide a connection (see Notes 323151 and 738371), we set up a roundabout way of achieving our goal. In essence, from ABAP, we set up the DBCON connection to the remote server, at which point all the Native SQL commands execute in the context of the remote server. From within that connection, we
    reference the tables in SAP via the Linked Server defined on the remote
    server, as if SAP were the remote server, selecting data from SAP and inserting it into the remote (but apparently local to this connection) tables.
    So, to spell it out, we define a Linked Server on the remote server pointing back to the SAP server as SAPSERV, with a SQL login mapping defined on the remote system pointing back to a SQL login in the SAP database. We also define a connection to the remote server from SAP using DBCON, using that remote SQL login for authentication.
    Then, in our ABAP code, we simply do something along the lines of
    exec sql.
       set connection 'REMOTE'
    endexec.
    exec sql.
       connect to 'REMOTE'
    endexec.
    exec sql.
       insert into REMOTE_TABLE
          select * from SAPSERV.SID.sid.SAP_TABLE
    endexec.
    exec sql.
       commit
    endexec.
    exec sql.
       disconnect 'REMOTE'
    endexec.
    This is, of course, a test program, but it demonstrated that it worked,
    and we were able to see that entries were appropriately deleted and inserted in the remote server's table. The actual program for use is a little more complex, in that there are about four different operations at different times, and we had to resolve the fact that the temp table SAP_TABLE was being held in a lock by our program, resulting in a deadly embrace, but our developer was able to work that out, and all is now well.
    I don't know if this solution will have applicability to any other customers, but it works for us, for now.
    SAPSERV, REMOTE, REMOTE_TABLE, and SAP_TABLE are, of course, placeholder names, not the actual server or table names, so as not to confuse anyone.
    Best regards,
    Matt

    Seems pretty straight forward to me. That class isn't there, and it wants it. Check all your classpaths to verify that class is in them. I bet it's not. Also, a side note. You see where it says "compiled code" in the stack trace instead of a line number. You can force the VM to interpret to give you a line number by setting your JAVA_COMPILER variable to "none" Or depending on the version of the VM you are using you can supply the -Xint switch which forces interpretation.

  • Trouble with Unity Connection and LDAP

    Our CUCM 8.6 is currently integrated with LDAP, this was done before I started with the company, I'm working on getting the CUC integrated as well, but I keep getting the following error message:
    Error while Connecting to ldap://xx.xx.xx.xx:389, null
    I took the exact same settings that was used on the cucm (the LDAP syncs fine with CUCM)
    LDAP Configuration name: ActiveDirectory
    LDAP Manager Distinguished Name: [email protected]
    LDAP Password: *******
    LDAP User Search Base: DC=xyz,DC=net
    User ID: sAMAccountName
    Middle Name: middleName
    Manage ID: manager
    phone number: ipPhone
    First name: givenName
    Last Name: sn
    Department: department
    Mail ID: mail
    User ID: sAMAccountName
    Middle Name: middleName
    Manage ID: manager
    phone number: ipPhone
    First name: givenName
    Last Name: sn
    Department: department
    Mail ID: mail
    Any ideas what could be causing that error? I've ran into this before somewhere but was able to figure out that it was something with the way I had put in the OU..This time I'm really I have not idea, especially since I took the settings from the LDAP setup in CUCM.

    Hi Chris,
    Yes I'm sure the sync is still working, I've went into CUCM and did a full sync and it was successful, I also hit save and that was successful as well, that was the first thing I did just to make sure it was working, I was thinking like you that maybe it wasn't working properly ...I'll take some screen shots and post shortly
    Fred
    Here's a screenshot of both CUCM and CUC

  • Unable to connect to companies in current server as algorithm is not update

    Hi Experts,
    I have installed SBO 881 PL04 (Installation setup) on Laptop on SQL server 2008 Express.
    When I load the SAP B1 Client first time, it ask me to update the password.
    When I changed the initial password, now it shows following error
    Error : "Unable to connect to companies in current server as algorithm is not updated, run the common upgrade to update security algorithm"
    Anybody has idea how to resolved it ?
    Thanking in advance,
    Samir Gandhi

    Hi Samir.....
    Try upgrading Common upgrade once again.
    This should help you to resolve your issue.
    If you still getting same problem then if you have SAP installed in other PC and it is working proper then take SBO Common DB backup restore in your Laptop and then run common upgrade for the same.......
    Hope this will solve your issue.....
    Regards,
    Rahul

  • Connection to LDAP Server failed

    OK, I have an application that has been working for years.
    Yesterday it stopped working and my error trapping started sending
    me messages with the cfcatch.message of " Connection to LDAP Server
    failed" The code hasn't been touch in over three years. Any ideas
    what is going on? I have attached the code but changed some
    information for security reasons.
