Connection of PI Sheet Data to Z-Tables

Hi Experts,
I got a question concerning the setup of PI Sheet functionality. What to I exactly need to setup the follwoing requirement:
In a PI sheet the system should retrieve data from a specific Z-Table (when the PI sheet is opened). After that there should be the possibility to change certain data in the PI sheet table. After pressing a button, the changed data should be written again to the Z-table.
Is that possible? I know about dynamic function calls in process instr. cat., but getting really confused about this "table" setup. Has each line to be processed individually (one process message per line to update the z-table)?
Maybe somebody could give me some hints, or you maybe have some links, where I can get more detailled information. Many thanks in advance.

But if I change the CSS like you say, the horizontal scroll of my table is also hidden and the screen is too much large because the table has many columns. The right-justified parameters are not displayed in the screen for the final user and he has to use the Sap scroll to see them. It's posible to display only horizontal scroll?

Help needed in Loading excel data to staging table from OAF Page

Hi All,
We have a requirement from the client on loading of a excel sheet data into staging table using OAF page.
We were able to load a CSV file into staging table via OAF. The approach we used is we created a item of style 'messageFileUpload', which would pick the CSV file from desktop and we wrote the logic on the controller to place the file into server and then sumit a concurrent program to load the data into the staging table.
But client wants data from the excel file to be loaded into staging table. Is there any way(approach) by which we can convert the excel file data into .CSV file using OAF?
Any help or pointers on this will be highly apperciated.

Store data from a table into excel sheet and email

I am just wondering, i m not sure where to start. I want to insert data from a table into an excel spread sheet.
I'm working on a stored procedure with 3 input parameters:
1. the actual query
2. userid
3. the column headers (comma separated) - these will be in the same order as the outer select statement in the query itself. I will use the column headers for the respective columns in Excel worksheet.
When the proc is executed, the excel is populated. If the record count is > 65536, then I need to create multiple worksheets in the same excel file.
How can i do that? Can any body please help with this..?

--Get the output of the query (Since the number of columns is not fixed you would have to use dbms_sql package)
--loop through the output and write into a file, for example test.csv, using UTL_FILE package
--load the file into a blob variable(we are doing it by loading it into a table)

Upload excel sheet data through sqlloader into oracle tables

i am working with excel sheet with following records

A control file is a file located on the operating system, not some SQL or PL/SQL code you try and execute.
Create the control file as a file and then use that to load your data with SQL*Loader from the command line.

FM for uploading data into internal table from Excel sheet

I have a slight problem in one of the function modules that I have created. Actually it has been copied from a standard SAP function module KCD_EXCEL_OLE_TO_INT_CONVERT. Now my created function module is throwing me a dump suggesting Data objects in a Unicode program are not convertible. Can anybody help me out in removing the error .
Actually the need of copying the standard FM to a ZFM is to increase the length of the column which can be uploaded thru this FM. The standard FM has a restriction of being able to upload 32 characters whereas my requirement is to upload data having at least 150 characters. So in order to care the need I made a ZStructure ZAKHIL_CELLS taking the Value parameters as 150 characters instead of 32 characters.
Well this is all done because I wanted to upload a excel sheet into an internal table and not use a tab delimited file. Can anybody help in this regard or suggest some other function module which can upload more than 150 characters from a excel sheet .

ahh I see - problem as you said then is if you then take on a new location!
I would then put into the source system a table identifier and create a view across all the tables
Then dbconnect from the view and use the selection parameter of table parameter if you wanted one infopackage per "location"
If you do need to have a new table in the source then just expand the view and create a new ipak
hence NO bw changes required that need a dev-q-p transport - just the ipak in prod and it;s the source systems problem to add the extra table to the view

In your case you need to use loop to iterate through tables
First get list of tables in a object variable created in SSIS using INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES view
Then add a for each loop based on ADO.NET variable enumerator to iterate through tables and inside loop follow method as in the above link to create the sheet first and populate it.

Check if refreshing data in pivot table was finished

Hello guys,
This is my first post here so forgive if I'm asking in wrong place.
Maybe you can help me or give me some hint how can I check if data in pivot tables refresh event was finished.
So I'm using excel plugin that allows to load excel spread sheets from external source e.g application server,
in this reports there are define some pivot tables with olap connections. When report is opened data is automatically refreshed,
what I'm trying to do is somehow check if this refresh was finished and start manipulating data in c# but I'm not able to check
if refresh was finished or it's still going.
I found that query table has refreshing flag which indicates if some query is running. But I'm not able to get to querytable object or to listobjects object, I'm using excel 2013 and only when I added sql database connection to sheet there was value
in listobject object but still querytable was empty,
What I'm doing wrong ?

How to copy Excel sheet data to SharePoint 2010 List?

Hi,
I need to export excel data to SharePoint 2010 list. I have created 22 columns in list which are of following Column types:
Single line of text,
Multiple line of text,
Choice
Number,
Date,
Person or Group.
Now i need to export the excel data to SharePoint list.
When iam trying to copy data from excel to List , it is showing as "The selected cells are read only".
can someone guide on this to export spread sheet data to SharePoint list without importing Spreadsheet.

I've updated the example of using PowerShell to include a Person field (user field) and a choice field.
The CSV file has the following columns:

Power Pivot Configuration error while refreshing connection on excel sheet for SharePoint 2013 and Sql server 2014

we are getting error while refreshing connection on excel sheet which containing data from data source in form of power pivot.
error is "An error occurred during an attempt to establish a connection to the external data source. The following connections failed to refresh:"
I am confused about Configuring the Analysis Service in SharePoint Mode.
What account should be used for Configuring the Analysis Service in SharePoint Mode?
what are the steps and what permissions are required and where to add it?
can you please explain in detail so i can make sure about my account permission properly in my environment?
Do we need to install Analysis service on sharepoint server box or not? if yes, then what are steps to follow it?
it is mentioned here to have two services are running under manages services under sharepoint central,

but we don't have SQL Server Analysis Services
running under Manage
services on server.
what need to be done here to fix this issue ?
