CONNECTION REFUSED os error 145
Hi,
We're having a problem with netscape enterprise server talking to WLS 5.1.
The error message is
trying to GET /dir/servlet/aservlet, wl-proxy reports: exception occurred for
backend host '<ip removed': 'CONNECTION_REFUSED [os error=145, line 1198 of URL.cpp]:
<ip removed.'
I was wondering what os error 145 means. I can't find any references to it :(
Environment is :
Solaris 2.6
Netscape Enterprise Server 3.6
Weblogic Server 5.1 SP11
Cheers,
Sam

145 is Connection Timed Out. So there was a timeout when connecting
to WLS.

Thanks,
SKPI had to re-install the linux server and install the oracle rpm again ... resulting in delayed reply.
Currently still i am unable to access http://127.0.0.1:8090/apex. The following error message is being displayed

Hi to you all,
I work with iAS 6.0 sp2 on Solaris.
For 1 day, I get that exception when trying to deploy or remove my modules (servlets + JSP) with the iasdeploy tool :
Exception while createXmlDocument()
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused
at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketConnect(Native method)
at com.netscape.server.deployment.WebbAppReg.run(compiled code)
at com.netscape.server.deployment.WebbAppReg.main(Unknown source)
The war archive is put in the JAR directory, unpacked in the APPS/modules directory, but the servlets of the module have the null GUID in the registry ({000000 000000 000000}. And so, I have the GX error when trying to invoke them.
What appends ? Is it a iAS process which is unable ?
Please help !
Paul-EmileI think you have not put the xml files in the war file.
You need to put them under WEB-INF/ directory. Manually generate the guids using kguidgen script and try to deploy the war module. It should work fine. If it doesnot work please send me the file. So that I can further investigate and find out where exactly the problem is.Other wise you can use the deploytool.
Please let me know if this works fine.

Connection Refused Error while running AS ABAP Initial Load
All,
I've never connected SAP NW IdM to an actual SAP system before, and I feel like I'm missing some obvious step of configuration, but I can't figure out what.
We are in the process of trying provision user accounts to our SAP ABAP systems. My first step was to try to read all of the existing accounts from the ABAP system:
Our Basis team created me a Communication user with the proper authorizations (I ensured that the authorizations included in SAP_BC_SEC_IDM_COMMUNICATION)
I created a repository using the SAP NewWeaver AS ABAP (Specific Application Server) Repository Template (No CUA, No SNC) using that user's credentials
I then used the Job Wizard and used the job template AS ABAP - Initial Load, specifying my repository above.
When I run the job I get the following:
Initializing SAP connection with parameters:
com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (102) RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: Connect to message server failed Connect_PM MSHOST=<IPADDRESS>, R3NAME=<SID>, GROUP=PUBLIC LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host ERROR partner not reached (host <IPADDRESS>, service sapms<SID>) TIME Wed Jun 01 13:54:36 201 RELEASE 640 COMPONENT NI (network interface) VERSION 37 RC -10 MODULE nixxi_r.cpp LINE 8840 DETAIL NiPConnect2 SYSTEM CALL SiPeekPendConn ERRNO 10061 ERRNO TEXT WSAECONNREFUSED: Connection refused COUNTER 1
Error Init failed
I'm running SAP NW IdM 7.1 SP5 on Windows Server 2003 with MSSQL 2005. The ABAP server is on a UNIX box with an Oracle 10.2 dB.
Is there additional configuration that needs to take place on the ABAP side to accept the connection?
I've tried to find documentation on this, but have been unsuccessful. If someone could point me to the correct documents, or at least point me in the right direction for troubleshooting, it would be greatly appreciated.Ankur,
Looks like the endpoint URL of the webservice is not updated and still pointing to the localhost. Try changing it to http://<ip_addres_of_your_server>:7101..... and see if it works fine then.

I've made a JSP page with ADF on a single table. No errors when compiling. When I try to run the JSP Page using Embedded OC4J (on Mac OSX Tiger) I get the error:

What am I doing wrong? The embedded OC4J library is added to the project. I've tried to use the javac compiler. It looks like the OC4J instance cannot make a connection to the db.
Thanks,

I've added the connection to the web.xml, but still get the same error.
When I go to embedded OC4J preferences and change the JNDI-names of the datasources (global and current-workspace) to the same name (this was default), i get this error message:

SMTP Receiver Communication Channel error: connection refused
Dear all.
When migrating processes from XI 3.0 to PI 7.1 we run into the problem that we can't get the SMTP Receiver Communication Channel working on PI. We get the following error in Communication Channel Monitoring:
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.sdk.xi.srt.BubbleException: Failed to call the endpoint [null "null"]; nested exception caused by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect
(The NetWeaver Administrator log shows the following:
unable to call the mailer: com.sap.aii.af.sdk.xi.srt.BubbleException: Failed to call the endpoint [null "null"]; nested exception caused by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect)
- We copied all configuration settings 1-on-1 from XI to PI, and double-checked we made no mistakes.
- We confirmed the PI system can in fact reach the mailserver by successfully sending Email from the ABAP stack of the PI system (transactions SOST and SCOT)
- When deliberately mistyping the mailserver URL, we get the error: java.net.UnknownHostException. This makes me believe that the 'connection refused' error we get (after re-entering the correct mailserver URL) is indeed coming from the mailserver. But why would it refuse the connection if it allows the connection from the ABAP stack of the same server? And why didn't we run into any such problems on XI?
Any help is much appreciated!
Kind regards,
Eddy Driessen.Hi All,

Xorg won't start - gives Connection Refused error
I'm trying to use Xorg, I have it configured with Xorg -configure and all that, but when dtlogin tries to start it reports these errors in it's logfile:
XIO: fatal IO errors 146 (Connection Refused) on X server ":0.0"^M
(the ^M is part of the message as well)
Any ideas?Hi Reasons,
Your problem seems to appear atfer loading the libglx module:
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libglx.so
Maybe you're having this issue described in nouveau's wiki: http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/InstallNouveau
9. Now start Xorg and run for cover. If you used the the nvidia blob before, the X server may possibly not start because NVIDIA overwrites the libglx.so which the X server provides with it's proprietary libglx.so. If that happens, install the X server package from your distribution again to resetore the original libglx.so and make a backup copy of it in case you install the blob again. -

Regards,
DanielaHi,
1. Either the SOAP Url in the SOAP adapter is wrong,
2. Or there is a proxy server between XI and the Webserivce and so provide the proxy server details in the SOAP adapter ( with Authentication ) if needed and give it a shot.

SOAP Exception, Connection refused error in jdeveloper 11g
Hello,
I am using jdeveloper 11g 11.1.2.3.0.
I have been experiencing the following error everytime I try to run the applicaiton. I use webservices in my applicaiton and recently the webservices url were changed pointing now to dev instead of the lab environment. The code has been migrated to dev environment, I tested the webservices in my browser, they seem to be working fine and are pulling up the required data.
ERROR:
javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Connection refused: connect
Error
Message send failed: Connection refused: connect
Error
Connection refused: connect
I am not sure what is causing this. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
SalHello Frank,
Thanks for your response. I checked the browser proxy settings in Jdeveloper, nothing is set there right now. Use HTTP Proxy Server is unchecked. What do I need to set this to?
Thanks,

I have checked other links too related to above error and have checked following:

Will be very thankful if anyone can help me to resolve this issue.
