Connection to DB in Remote Sever, How?

Hello,
I am on DW CS5, Version 11.0, Build 4993
I have built a site in PHP and MySQL, it works fine on my testing server. I use MAMP on Mac OSX 10.6.4
When I originally configured the site (correctly within DW), I configured it for local testing only. All works fine
I am ready to transfer everything to operate on my hosting account, I have access to MyPHPAdmin (on remote server) and I have configured a DB, I have exported my tables and data from my local test server and imported them successfully to my remote server, the tables and data show up fine
*PROBLEM* I uploaded my pages, scripts and so forth to the server and there appears to be no connection to the database
I returned to DW and added a new connection, specified the remote server, tested the connection through DW and it shows as working fine, I uploaded all my pages etc. again, and still I seem to have no connection to the DB
The database, the tables etc. all have the exact same names and my brain is about to explode!!! - please can you point me in the right direction here
I created much of the PHP scripting through DataAssist and associated WebAssist products
My server is Apache and I am using SFTP/shh to upload and so on...

On reading again, if I understand correctly is that you uploaded to the server and created a NEW connection?
What you should have done was just edit the old connection and upload the file in the connections folder. Just creating a new connection would mean you would also have to change the connection on your pages unless you deleted the old one and created a new one with the exact same name?

Hey there. I am trying to make it to where I can connect to my computer remotely using FTP file sharing. In Sharing preferences, I have FTP access turned on and have set my local hostname to The Chariot. When I select File Sharing, it tells me that other people can access my FTP server at ftp://thechariot/.
The problem is, they cant. I have tried it from my friends mac at his house, and it says connection failed. the weird thing is that I can access it from my computer. when I try to connect to it from my own computer, it prompts me for my computer user name and password, I enter it, and there I am connected to my own FTP server. Why does it not do this from anyone else's computer?
Does anyone know how to resolve this?

You are currently protected from the internet through your router. Your router has an ip address which the world knows, sort of. Nobody outside your router knows what your ip address on The Chariot is at all. Further, your router prevents anything from getting through from the outside world.
So, first, you have to learn how to open up your router to forward the ftp port (21) to your Mac's IP address. You then need to learn that the rest of the world will be able to access your computer. Further, you may find out that FTP passwords are passed in the clear, so it is possible, while not likely, that someone can sniff your password and gain access to your Mac. Now, if you are running as an Admin user, that person can do all sorts of things to your computer.
While you are learning about this, you should look into sftp or ssh instead.

Open AirPort Utility on the PC, select the Airport Extreme and click Manual Setup
Click the Advanced icon
Click the Port Mapping tab
Click the + (plus) button at the bottom of the connection list to set things up
Reference pages 49-51 in the Apple AirPort Networks guide for more info
IF.....you do not see a Port Mapping tab when you click the Advanced icon, then that would mean that the AirPort Extreme is in Bridge Mode and the main routing functions for the network are being provided by another device.
You will need to set up the port mapping on that device, which is likely your modem/router or gateway.

using ms outlook 2010. but got some error like this, "Cannot open your default e-mail folders. You must connect to Microsoft Exchange with the current profile before you can synchronize your
folder with your outlook data file (ost)."
if i try login using OWA, its successful,
i was enable/disable MAPI from this mailbox, but not the solution. finding in google, i found this

if you have to create a Datasource to a remote MySQL DB you will need to first download the MySQL JDBC driver (it avalable for free from mysql site) add this jar file to you applib directory(<oracle_home>\j2ee\home\applib directory)
then create the datasource specify the driver name and connection URL

you may be connected to the wireless network but the question is the internet working properly on the wireless network...
what i mean is that i can make a wireless network without the internet so i can save and share files and have other devices connected to the same network access them... but you have to make sure that your internet it running properly... may have to reconfigure the router is your using PPPOE or if it was working prior to your post then try to restart your modem... that usually resolves most issues.

FCP, and all software on OSX, has a few different "preference" files (the extension is .plist), which store all your user settings. Each time you resize a window, change a setting, anything, this file is re-written. Kinda easy to see how they would become corrupt every now and then.
-Close FCP
-Navigate to User>Library>Preferences and delete com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist
-Navigate to User>Library>Preferences>Final Cut Pro User Data and delete Final Cut Pro 5.0 Prefs
-Empty your trash
Relaunch FCP and see if that worked.
Download FCP Rescue to make this process easier in the future. When you have FCP running really smooth, open FCP Rescue and create a backup of your preference files. If it starts acting wanky, just run FCP Rescue and Restore your backup preferences. Works really slick, and it's free.

Both accounts are completely independent from each other. In order to use the space that you have purchased for your secondary account, you must change it to become your primary account. Yes, as you said, services like photo stream only work with the primary account. Unfortunately, there is no comfortable way to just transfer data from one account to another one, but you can do it via a third party application e.g. via Dropbox: e.g. for photos: photos stored with your current primary account > manual transfer to dropbox > after you made your secondary account to the primary account, transfer the photos back to your new primary account etc.

You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. I have a BT Infinity router plugged into the Time Capsule, not sure where the radio settings are?
They are able to use the network settings of the TC i.e. they can connect to the internet via the wifi through the TC but when they try and connect to the AirPort Disk this is where it is not allowing a connection.
I don;t have the drive shared out at all at the moment, is this necessary? How do I do this if so?
