Connectivity Error: "Connection Refused"

I have a connection error which is:

IP Adress (10.0.2.15) in DiProxyHost has benn provided from IP Config

Do you have a license from B1 assigned to that user that you have set in the Business One Landscape? Do you have the SDK JCO installed? You path to the JCO as defined in the Landscape should be something like ...
...\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One DI API\JCO\LIB
Also ... can you ping the server from where you are getting the error? Can you ping the Business One license server? Is there any more to the error other than "Connection Refused"?

I have been getting this above error on my mail server from last
4-5 days. I am getting complaints from end users that the users can't
send any mails using Outlook but I did check with my test user I can
send mail by using webmail.
The Failed MX lookup Errors also getting in my logs the error detail given bellow.

I tried stopping and starting msg service using stop-msg and start-msg to sort out this above problem but no result. :(
When I do check the tcp_local queue it has been growing every day as well the tcp_notification queue also.

This queues are increasing day by day.
One more thing is that I cant see a service/channel called CONVERSION running on my server when i do use this command.

When i try to start it using imsimta qm utility, output shows as

I can see that on other servers the conversion channel is running and few msges are in queue. I do have other servers which running the same messaging server. But I am not getting why don't on this server. Where both servers having the same configuration.
Please, help me to sort out this issue.

TCP active open: Failed connect() Error: Connection timed out

Hi,
There is one message which can't be delieved to the recepient with error " TCP active open: Failed connect() Error: Connection timed out" This is the error that we found in the mail.log_current file.
I have no problem sending email to the same address from my hotmail account.
any suggestion ?

The message can only mean one thing. Your server cannot connect to that host.
It's possible that the remote system is lying to your Messaging Server, and that's gotten it confused. Some firewalls do this by repeating the entire capability string from the server behind them, but can't actually handle all the capabilities.
PIX firewalls do this.
When you connect, they pretend to be able to "startls", but if you try, they hang up. They appear to handle "EHLO", but when you try, they hang up.
You can put debugging on the tcp_local channel, and see the actual conversation, if you like.
master_debug and slave_debug go into the imta.cnf definition line. MM_DEBUG=5 goes at the end of your option.dat file.
then
imsimta cnbuild
imsimta restart
will attempt to send the message. You will want to back the changes out, as you'll get lots of extra log files you really don't need.
Post the log file, and we can see what's happening.

That does not mean that the Content Server is not working but those
messages are constantly appearing and I receive the user complaints.

Any help is appreciated, I have no idea of what do I need to check.

Does anyone have experience with this issue when connecting to a Linux FTP Web Server running a FTP Site?

I cannot access the root directory of the ftp file server using Web Matrix 3. The site is .php based, and
is accessible when connecting with FileZilla or Remote Connecting via FTP with Visual Studio.
All sites have been deleted from Web Matrix, the user Application Data has been cleared and Web Matrix has been reinstalled.

Turns out that the program leaves metadata in your app data folder that is not removed upon uninstallation of the software.
This is incorporated to communicate with a file that uploaded into the ftp directory when publishing pages.

Unexpected Connection Error connection closed

I have a report that has a subreport within it. I am passing the data to the report in the standard way from java having retrieved it from an MS SQL DB using two separate stored procedures (one for the main report and one for the subreport). This report works fine initially but when one tries to drill down - hence changing the display of the subreport I get the connection closed message.
I have tried to debug it to find out where the connection gets closed but it is very difficult without source code. I was able to determine the stack crawl from the excepton:

SpamAssassin / Amavisd tuning - TCP active open: Failed connect() errors

I started this post as we were experiencing a problem with occassional delayed mail delivery to our mail store. As I continued writing it, I think that I've resolved it. But I wanted to post this anyway so if I'm doing things right it might help someone else; or, if I'm doing something wrong someone can correct me. :) For reference, we have a quad Sun v440, and process about 500,000 messages a day.
We were seeing messages like this in our log files:

example.com represents our local domain. The errors seemed to occur proportionally to the amount of incoming mail we received. That is, we saw more of them under load.
We are running SpamAssassin, Amavisd/clamav, and:

This line seems to say that the message is in the tcp_scan channel, and cannot send to 127.0.0.1:10024 (amavisd) because that port isn't listening.
My amavisd max_servers was set at 15. After reading http://www.ijs.si/software/amavisd/amavisd-new-magdeburg-20050519.pdf and making a wild guess, I increased it to 30. The errors were less frequent, but still occurred.
The output of 'sar -d' showed that my local disk was experiencing upwards of 80% utilization. I moved the amavisd temp directory and the spamassassin bayes db to a san volume, and that sped everything up dramatically. The connect errors went away, clamav avg time per message is at 4 seconds down from 10. I am now receiving errors from spamassassin that say:
Nov 9 10:27:27 hostname.example.com spamd[21601]: prefork: server reached --max-children setting, consider raising it
My --max-children is set to 25 right now, and the server is cpu bound under heavy load, so I see no reason to raise it.
So this is my setup. I am no longer having an immediate problem, but comments/questions are welcome.

Suggest dropping Amavis in preference to the built-in
integration, per our documentation. Simpler, more
performant.Sorry, my title wasn't very accurate. We are running SpamAssassin through the built in integration, and clamav through amavisd. There isn't any built in integration to clamav, is there?

SMuFF1ASDCCN CONNECTION ERROR

when I used tcode SMSY to create a RFC from Solution manager to Target system,the system displayed red light and had a error as follow:

First u maintain the target sytem client user id profile as sap_all,sap_new,s_rfcacl_all.
Then go to the smsy, maintain the rfc connection between solman and satlite system.
RFC destination SM_SLMCLNT100_BACK, it means rfc connection not generated properly, First u delete the rfc conection in u r satlite system useing sm59. Then again try to maintain the connection between the system.
Provide u r mail id i will sent the sddcn docs.

Connecting to the local weblogic server instance (t3://localhost:7001) works okay.
From the command prompt (wlst.cmd) I'm able to connect to the remote weblogic server instance -
wls:/offline> connect('weblogic','xxxxx','t3:xxx.xxx.com:7001') ;
Connecting to t3://xxx.xxx.com:7001 with userid weblogic ...
Successfully connected to Admin Server 'AdminServer' that belongs to domain 'IDMDomain'.
I've compared the CLASSPATHs between OEPE and the command prompt.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

1)To get mysql JDBC driver to work on my Linux system, i had to add the classpath for the driver to the .bashrc:
CLASSPATH=./:home/<user>/java/mm.mysql-2.0.6/:home/<user>/java
Note that I execute the java program as the user <user> (and .bashrc is the config. file of this <user>...). Perhaps you must do this as well for the Oracle driver on your client machine. I don't know if your client machine is UNIX/LINUX or WINDOWS. It should only be clear that the CLASSPATH is set in the config. file of the user under which the java program runs and that this user has the permission to access the files.
There are no differences between accessing the database locally than accessing it by a network connection. The only thing that matters are that the connection parameters are right and that the network works properly.
2) are you sure that the table tname (case sensitivity?) exits?

I have installed SOA in my laptop and started the SOA suite and completed the Hello world example program. To deploy I am trying to create Integration Server connection and selected connection Type as "Oracle Application Server 10g 10.1.3." and when I am trying to test the connection I am getting below error.
Error getting OC4J process for: opmn-home+oc4j-localhost-6003-default:
Error connecting to OPMN (is it running?): Connection refused: connect
I have not changed any default values
HostName : localhost OPMN Port : 6003
OC4J Instance Name : home
Could you please let me know if anything missing information.

I am able to create Connection now. System is defaulting port as 6003 instead of 6004. I have changed the port after seeking OPMN configuration XML file.

Java Chat Error, Connection refused and more.....

Hello. I have been chatting in the same chat room for about 2 and a half months now and typically go there every night. But all of a sudden a few days ago, it stopped letting me connect! It says:
Error connecting to www.freejavachat.com:6667
I thought it might just be that room so I tried other freejavachat rooms. None of them work anymore. When I tried another one, this is the message I received:
Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection refused
I don't quite understand. I was just able to use it a few days ago. It's not the room, because I talked to some other people with windows computers and they can get into the chat just fine. That leads me to believe that it might be a problem with Safari.
I did a java test to see if my java wasn't working, but everything came out fine. It said that my java was working properly. It's just I can't connect to a chat room. Those are the two errors I get while trying to.
The java works just fine. Connecting is a another story.
It worked two days ago. I did not install anything new or update anything. It just stopped letting me connect.
Please, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks so much!!

Running the above OVMs on virtual box version 4.2.10
OVM is version 3.1.1.365
I setup my environment and was ready to import VM templates. Following a reboot of the server I can no longer login to the Manager.
Error is: Unexpected error during login (com.oracle.ovm.mgr.api.exception.FailedOperationException: OVMAPI_6000E Internal Error: Connection refused Connection refused
After some investigation in the App logs I found this error:

You need to learn how to start an oracle database. The database does not start automatically if you're using the database that comes with the VM Manager.
ps -ef | grep pmon
will tell you if the database is running and mounted.
ps -ef | grep tns
will tell you if the database listener is running
OR
You could use 3.2.2 and use the MYSQL database that come with the VM Manager
OR
you could load the enterprise version of Oracle Database and use cluster services to automatically start and stop the database. You get a single use license with the VM Manger that allows you either use standard of enterprise edition of the Oracle Database.
