Consolidating all Errors and sending mail in BPM

Hi,
I have a scenario in which i have the outbound IDOC zartmas04
I have to update 6 tables of another application table.
the idoc can have a material and n number of plant information.
I have to check the mandatory fields that are to be updated into the table and if it is not avaialbe the details should be collected for each material plant combination and the error should be send as a mail (only 1 mail with consolidated errors).
Those combinations of plant material which has no error should be updated into the database.
Initially I designed a simple interface, but now as i Understand i should go for a BPM , I am not sure how to desgin.

I think the Pattern defined in ur BASIS Component in IR details of which are given below fits into ur scenario.

Go thru documentation of this pattern which u can find in http://help.sap.com.
This might help u to design ur scenario. u copy this pattern into ur namespace and do modification according to ur scenario.

Actually, I performed the following two steps in order to solve the issue:
- In transaction SICF, the node for SAPConnect must be active. In our system, this node was in inactive state. Hence I activated it.
- Then In transaction SCOT-> Settings menu--> default domain should be 'xyz.com' if the email addresses in your company are maintained with a suffix xyz.com.
But for me the problem didnt get solved here..
The problem that i am facing now is that if in my user profile, I have the email address maintained, then i get an error saying 'Sender address rejected'. However, if i goto transaction SU01 and clear the email id, the mail is successfully sent to outer world.
You can try the above mentioned two steps using SICF and SCOT. If the problem does not get solved then try clearing the mail id in ur user profile.

Error while sending mail with pdf attachment

Dear All,
I am sending mail to outlook Internet address, with PDF attachment, if i have the some text in the mail along with the attachment,
then the PDF attachment file is not opeining, throws file corrupted error.
If i don't have the text for mail body, and send only attachment then the PDF attachments working fine.

If you are using the th FM "SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1" to send the PDF data(As an attachment) to an internet address, try prepare an internal table with the text you want to mention in your mail. This table needs to be passed to the
'contents_txt' of this function module. You can check your mail in SOST transaction and in DOC Content section.
Ex: wa_objtxt = 'Regards'.
APPEND wa_objtxt TO t_objtxt.
I am sure that you won't get any problem if you follow the procedure mentioned above.

this is where i created the keystore.jks file
I navigated to the location C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_13\bin in command prompt and typed the following command to create the keystore
keytool -import -trustcacerts -alias root -file mail_test_com.crt -keystore keystore.jksI was asked to set the password for keystore and then i was asked the question "Trust this certificate? [no]:" for which i gave yes.
If this is not the right place to create the keystore.jks can you please tell me what is correct location to create the keystore file.

How to read email IDs from DB and send mails

i m trying to read a set of e-mail IDs from the DB and sending mails to all those email ids.
i am getting "null pointer exception". kindly suggest how can i able to send mails to mails to those users
registered in the db.

Based on your stack trace I would say you have a line of code like... = new InternetAddress(something)...and that something is null.

Thunderbird can download and send mail with Cox POP Mail, Mail cannot?

I have Thunderbird and Mail installed.
I can download and send mail with Thunderbird.
I can't even set-up an account with Mail because it cannot find the POP Mail server.
I have Firewall on with ports 25, 110 and 587 open.
This really seems strange that I can use Thunderbird to set up and use POP Mail access to Cox, but not Mail.
My servers are:
pop.central.cox.net
smtp.central.cox.net
I've followed the steps on Cox's support web site, no success.
I've already called Cox, they're clueless.
Thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Well since Tbird works, we can rule out lots of things.
Mail cannot find the POP server
You are using the Welcome to Mail assistant to do this, and when you type in your incoming mail server info it spins the gear a bit, gives an error, and says that if you continue Mail may not work -- yes? What does the error say specifically?
No disrespect at all, but the most likely problem is a typo somewhere / mis-specified username. Please go 'round once more.

When I try and send mail from one of two email addresses, it asks me for a password to a google e-mail account I no longer have, so now I can't send any mail

I have x6 gmail accounts set up on my Thunderbird pop mail. When ever I try and send ANY email from 2 of these accounts ([email protected] & [email protected]) a window pops up and says the following:
Enter your password for [email protected] on smtp.googlemail.com
I haven't had that email address for a couple years, and I've tried every password I've ever used with no luck.
I eventually have to hit cancel, the a new error box pops up that says the following:
Sending of message failed.
An error occurred sending mail: Could not get password for smtp.googlemail.com. The message was not sent.
PLEASE PLEASE help, I need these two address to work. Every other address (x4) through Thunerbird works.

Convertion of Smart form to pdf and sending mail to vendor for PO

Hello all,
I have modified a standard PO Smartform and running it through ME23N.
In this i have to convert it to a pdf file and then send it through mail to the vendor.
I have found out FMs'CONVERT_OTF'and
'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1'
to convert it and send mail. But can u tell me how to go about using it.
As i am using a standard program do i have to copy this prog to zprog and then call the fm out there. I am not sure.

Error in sending mail with dbms_job

I have a procedure, that sends e-mails. Procedure works fine and sends the e-mails as far as I execute it from APEX "SQL Commands". It also causes no errors when I have submitted it to DBMS_JOB, but the procedure does not need to send any e-mails. However, as soon as it is executed by DBMS_JOB and the procedure calls htmldb_mail.send, there is a failure. Alert log:

Workflow Notification Mailer:
you can send email using workflow notification email procedures,These ar built into the system and only need some minor configuration. check Workflow Administrator's Guide, Chapter 2, Section: Setting Up Notification Mailers for more detail.

I now cannot open my mail and send mail. I try sending photos and It says yahoo server is not available
There shows as well MF Message Error Domain error 1032.

If the app doesn't work, try removing and then re adding your mail info. Sometimes Yahoo gets their wires crossed and starting over is usually the only way to fix it.

i have already mention the smtp server name in conf. file but still receiving this error

Your smtp server forbids relaying, which is very common. Often a smtp server is configured to send only mails within the same domain without authentication. Otherwise, you need a username and password for the smtp server. I'm not sure if you can configure Reports to send mail through an authenticated server.
