Consolidation of items in accounting document

Hi All
I have this scenario in MySAP ERP 2005 version
SD Billing doc has two line items
Item 1{Material=A,Plant=2000,P-centre=21000,Amount=$3,Qty=1,Tax=$0.42}
Item 2{Material=A,Plant=2000,P-centre=21000,Amount=$4,Qty=1,Tax=$0.56}
Revenue was posted to G/L account 8000000 and Tax amount to G/L account 17500000 for both items
Problem:
When I view FI document which was created, I see the following 4 line items:
1.I8070091-Customer account = $7.98
2.80000000-Sales= $3-
3.17500000-Output VAT = $0.98-
4. 80000000-Sales=$4-
Requirements:
What settings are required to combine Sales for G/L Account 80000000 into one line item? I would like to see the following layout when viewing FI document:
1.I8070091-Customer account = $7.98
2.80000000-Sales= $7-
3.17500000-Output VAT = $0.98-
Only 3 Lines to be displayed for G/L Account 8000000
Can anyone explain to me IMG step by step to get this working?
Because of not being able to combine these items we are experiencing this error message "Maximum number of items has been reached in FI" every time we post billing documents with many items.

    I have a SD billing document with 2 item, the accounting document related have only 1 item of revenues account ( value of item is egual to sum of two of SD billing document ). The two item of SD invoice have the same revenue account. Where it is possible set if have 1 or more item in the account document for more item SD billing document with the revenue account?

    well, this issue is mantained at FI side.
    So, in order to give some tip related, please go to transaction OBCY. There you can group or not the account.
    Also, please verify the note 36353.
    So, I hope these statement can help and guide you.

  • Multiple line item in billing but only one line item in accounting document

    Hi Everyone,
    I am having one scenario in which sales order has more than one line item. Only one billing document is create for all line items in Sales Order but billing document contains as many items as sales order has. In accounting document of billing i find only one customer line which has total amount of all line items in billing as debited. My requirement is Accounting document also should have as many line of customer-debit as in billing items i.e sales order. For example :
    (1) Sales order has 2 line items.
    (2) Billing document is only ONE and has 2 line items
    (3) currently accounting document has only ONE line of Customet - Debit ( Total amount of both items)
    My requirement is
    Accounting document should have 2 line item of customer - Debit
    Customer - Debit (amount of first line item)
    Customer - Debit (amount of Second line item)
    Sales - Credit
    How can it be done ?

    Hi,
    This is the SAP expected behaviour
    As far as the values correspond to same account key and same GL account as per account determination, then ti will be posted as a single line item in FI document.
    If you want the customer specific items to be posted in two GL accounts , then you have to do the account determination that way.
    For example, you should have a condition table in FICO as follows.
    Sales org/ Account key / Customer
    For this condition table, the entries shoudl be as follows.
    5110/ERS/Customer A  GL ACCOUNT IS 5000100
    5110/ERS/Customer B GL ACCOUNT IS  5000200
    In this case, there will be 2 entries for the invoice instead of just one line entry.

  • Addition of G/L items in Accounting Document during creationof Material Doc

    Hi All
    I am looking for User exit or BADI that allows me to add additional G/L line items (offsets) in Accounting Document during creation of Material Document. I wish to do this when I save Material document in MIGO, MB01 or MIRO.
    Has anyone done this before? Is there any user exit, badi or function module to do this. Please share insight on this situation.

      check out BADI MB_DOCUMENT_BADI this would trigger before and during update task while posting Material documents i think you can ful fill your requirement with this.

  • Add NEW invoice items  in accounting document when doing billing (VF01)

    Hi !
    Is it possible to ADD NEW Itemlines to the Accountingdocument while doing billing(VF01) ?
    Know that its no problem to change existing lines.
    Need to ADD one new debit and one new credit item line.
    Have tried  userexit  EXIT_SAPLV60B_008 and BADI  AC_DOCUMENT  in debugger.
    But did not get it to work , "Accounting document was not get created".
    Added lines to XACCIT and XACCCR tables.
    BTE 1130 ?
    Please let me know how i can solve this,

    OK did you solve it ??  What exit did you then use ?
    I copied one of the GL rows and changed to next index and changed the values i wanted in XACCIT.
    Same to the table that holds the amounts. Same index there as the XACCIT table.
    I just want to know IF it is possible and what exit to use.

  • Link between Invoice document items and Accounting document items

    Hello, Colleagues.
    Can you help me, please. I don't solved next problem. I should associate Invoice document (Create with MIRO) items from tab "PO reference" with items from tab "G/L account" or with tax items Follow-on accounting document. Invoice document can contain items with amount equals 0 and this items don't add to the tab "G/L account" and to the items accounting document. So Invoice document can contain items with material code greate than one.
    Or link between RSEG <-> BSEG or link between RSEG <-> RBCO.

    We have a requirement to add new GL line items while doing PGI through VL02N. The requirement is as below. Please confirm, if we can use BTE 1120 for this and if yes, how to use it to add new line items.

    I need to add new line items previously to save the FI document too.
    Could you explain how we can use BTE 1120 to change or add new lines, please?
    I have done a test but it don't work:
    (Function open_fi_perform_00001120_p)
    L_BSEG[] = T_BSEG[].
    Call to the function that handle the BTE, with L_BSEG[] parameter.
    T_BSEG[]  = L_BSEG[].                                "Note 996552
    Then our new values in T_BSEG table are replace for the original table, and our changes are be deleted.

    My requirement is to print all the invoice documents and it's tax values like cenvat, Ecess, BED and VAT.
    I have to fetch these tax details from BSEG table .
    I' am getting Invoice number ( RBKP-BELNR ) from BKPF-AWTKEY .
    Can any one please tell me how to relate the Invoice line items and Accounting document line items..
    Any BAPI or FM is there to retrieve these data.
    Please do needful in this regard.

  • Pricing error (Message no. VF073) Accounting Document not generated

    Dear All,
    User has entered delivery quantity as 0.00 in one of the line item (007) without material description in vl01n and saved. Invoice number has also been generated. Because of Pricing error for the line item( 007) Accounting Document is not getting generated.
    My issue is without cancellation of invoice/configuration changes, can i delete the line item (007) or is there any alternative solution to create accounting document.
    Note: line item( 007) does not have details only quantity is mention 0.00 in VL01n.
    Experts please help me how to solve this issue.

  • SD Accounting Document

    Hi All,
    We have recently upgraded to EHp5, and we have noticed one difference in display of line items in accounting document. System breaks the billing line item to two separate lines in the a/c document. Forexample if the line item in billing document has two condition types assigned to same a/c key and GL a/c, it shows them in a/c document as two lines though the total is equal. Condition type 1 has value 80 and condtion type 2 has value 20, it used to show one line in a/c document 100, but now for the new billing documents with same process it shows in two line 80 and 20 in a/c document. Not sure its due to EHp 5 upgrade or there is some other reason for this. Help needed.

    What i did,
    first use MB_DOCUMENT_BADI  with  method
                 mb_document_before_update.
    here i tried to get the material document and export into memory
    after use AC_DOCUMENT With method
                   change_after_check.
    here Import the material document doc num and pass it to Assignment field in
    but it is not working
    when i debug first trigger the   AC_DOCUMENT   And then it goes to   MB_DOCUMENT_BADI
    Plese help me regarding this.

  • Enhancement - Accounting Document from Billing Document - change line items

    Hi Experts,
           Our client has a requirement to display all line items(as shown in Billing document) along with the tax line in the Accounting document. I can explain it as below:
          In VF01 transaction code: enter the delivery number.
          Press enter to see the number of line items that will be populated in the Billing document.
          Click on save.
          Here in the Accounting Doc you'll find only 2 line items, one line item is the consolidation of WRBTR and quatity of all the line items in the Billing Document and the other line item is the tax.
          We are required to replace the consolidated line item in the Account Doc with all the actual lines as populated in the Billing Document.
          For this we tried various methods:
                 Searched for a BAPI - couldnt find any which will help in modifying the line items before creation of Account Doc
                 Checked UserExits - Found one SDVFX008 but it didnt have the table which is sent for population of Accounting doc hence there was no way we could modify any table to get the desired output.
                 Searched the VF01 Flow in Debugger to check when the Accounting Doc is updated, but it also didnt yield any fruits.
          Kindly please guide on a way this can be accomplished. Appreciate the help from you all...

    this case, because of the following schema:
    -> main loop on VBAK data ( request document header data )
       -> inner loop on BSEG data ( accounting document items );
    our current access criteria in reading tb_bseg is only:
    ... where tb_bseg-belnr = tb_vbrk-vbeln.
    Providing that tb_vbrk-vbeln doesn't differ and that both tb_vbak and tb_bseg
    contain two records ( the two requests the first and the two accounting
    document items the second ), the program fails as follows:
    ° first request  -> two lines
    ° second request -> two lines.
    Is there any way to link each invoice item with the corresponding credit
    note item?

  • How to fill Long Text in Accounting document in the item level.

    I need to fill Long Text field in item level of accounting document from the header texts from Billing header(say billing instructions)
    I checked the user exit EXIT_SAPLV60B_008 but it didnt worked in my case. I have read the billing instructions in the Billing header using FM READ_TEXT but I am not able to save this text  using FM SAVE_TEXT because  for the field Long Text  the parameter TDNAME is a concatenation of BUKRS(COmpany code) BELNR(Accounting doc. no.)  GHAJR(fiscal year)  BUZEI(line item) .
    But I am not able to capture this accounting doc. number in the mentioned user exit instead I am getting Sales Invoice number and hence not able to give TDNAME parameter for FM save_text.

    In application area FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING , go for node LINE ITEM. Here create a step & maintain the prerequisite as per your requirement & in the check you can mention the code or you can direct it to a custom program like ZFI_RGGBR000.
    Here while maintaining the check you will get structures BKPF & BSEG in which you will get the desired field you are looking for.
    Just try to explore in your system how the other validations are maintained.
    After you are done with all your code, you have to run the regeneration program RGUGBR00.
    Here utmost care should be taken while running regeneration program, you should select all the checkboxes in the selection screen except  GENERATE SETS, GEN SUBSTN ROUTNS IN ALL CLNTS  & TRACE PROG. GENERATE CALLS .
