Contact icon missing

I have an IPhone 4 using iOS 6. My Contacts icon is missing and can only be accessed by clicking my Phone icon. I've already reset my Home Screen layout. I don't have a Utilities folder. Any other suggestions?

Look in Spotlight and you find witch folder contains the Contact App.
Look at the right side when Spotlight founds the app.

You can't delete it. Look on all your screens and inside all your folders. If you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will restore the home screen to its original configuration but may move other apps around to do so. (You may want to take some screenshots first so you can recreate your app layout).

It's a pre-installed app and therefore cannot be deleted so you may have inadvertently moved it onto a screen or into a folder, check the utilities folder as this is a common one for it to disappear into. Check all screens and folders and do a search in Spotlight, it will tell you if the app it still on your iPhone but unfortunately not where it is. If you find it on one or your screens or in a folder, press the icon until it wiggles and then drag it back to where you want it. Alternatively you can reset your home screen in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

The built in Apps can not be deleted. It may be hiding in an existing folder, such as "Utilities" or moved to a different screen.

Every iPod touch has a contacts icon. It might be hiding. You can try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

Sorry I didn't use very clear language - by green blob, I mean the maximise button in the traffic light system on the top left of an email - underneath mine is a dialogue box that lists various options, adding fields like cc or bcc, which was someone asked about.
Don't know why the contacts icon disappeared. Perhaps Apple will restore it in the next update.

I just realize that my contacts are not being updated from my Gmail account. When I went to see my Gmail account settings the Contacts icon was missing from my iPhone Gmail account. When I called the Apple support I was advised to delete the account and recreate it again. I deleted the account, restarted the phone and then hard reset the phone. No luck. The icon is still missing!

Contacts Icon - iPod Touch 4th Gen

OK, since the old man owns an iPad, I got picked to help my niece set up her new iPod Touch (4th gen). What planet is all this music coming from??
Anyway, we've done pretty well, but I cannot find the "Contacts" icon that I'm accustomed to seeing on my iPad. We were able to sync contacts from her PC's email address book, and I can find them by going into email or FaceTime, but that just seems awkward. Since it is new, she only has two pages of icons/apps, so I'm sure it's not there. I tried resetting the Home Pay layout from within Settings, but that didn't fix the problem. Am I missing something here? Thanks for your help.

It should be in the Utilities folder. You can also use the Spotlight search to find it.

I was trying to rearrange my icons and accidentally lost my contacts icon. When I search, it comes up but I can't tell where it is or how to get it back on my home screen. (I'm running iOS 7.1.2 on a new iPhone 5.)

The first thing you may want to try is resetting the Home sceen layout. This will return the built-in apps to their original layout on the Home screen and can be found under Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. If the issue persists, then you may need to take a look at the the restriction settings on your device. The article below has more information.

Can I see contact icons/pictures in iMessage on iPhone 5 running iOS 7?

Can I see my contact icons/pictures in iMessage on iPhone 5 running iOS 7? I know this is a stupid little thing, but all my previous Android phones would show the contact icons/pictures not only in the conversation but also in the list of iMessage threads. This was exceptionally helpful for me, as I am slightly dyslexic. It saved me several times from sending messages to the wrong person. Since I coordinate my entire job through my phone, I really miss this feature. If anyone knows of anyway to get this feature back please let me know.

The only time you can see the contact picture is in a group message, unfortunately.

Contacts icon gone after upgraded 4s sync.

Upgraded to the 4s, synced to my computer, and everything appears except there is no "contacts" icon and no contacts appear in the phone contacts either. Anyone else have this problem? I'm new to this, so sorry if I'm missing something obvious.

I somehow managed to make my 'Contacts' icon disappear. I miss it it. Any ideas for retrieving it?

I don't know anything about a utilities app folder. I don't see any folders on any screens.
However, if I go to the search screen and type in "contacts", it shows the Contacts app - on the right it shows Utilities. I guess that indicates Contacts is in the Utilities folder. If I select Contacts, I can see the contacts. I still don't see a Contacts app anywhere. Is it possible to locate the utilities folder and move Contacts to the home screen?
