How can i place a TransparentContainer in the center of the outputscreen of the webdynpro.please give me the steps

Sorry i should have mentioned one more thing. The layout of RootUIElementContainer should be Matrix or Grid. Then only width property will be visible.
Under RootUIElementContainer Insert Child Invisible UIE. After that again Insert Child, TransparentContainer. Now u can use some logic to set the position.
U can dynamically also set the width property etc of UIEs like Invisible element.

We need to read the workflow multiline container using our webdynpro program. we are using the FM SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER to read the container elements of the workflow by passing workitem id as an input. But this FM is failing to pick the multiline container. Can any one of you advise the alternate way to proceed with this ?

Reading Task Container in ABAP Webdynpro

Hi All,
I have to read the task container in ABAP Webdynpro to show the details on a ABAP interactive form which is embedded in WDA. For this I have approached in the following way.
1) Task is configured in SWFVISU with DYNPARM = WI_ID=${item.externalId}
2) Workitem is obtained in UWL and ABAPWebDynpro is launched when Task is executed from UWL
3) START is the "startup" plug that triggers the HANDLESTART method
     This method has WDEVENT as a standar parameter. Then the following code is for reading the URL parameters.
     wdevent->get_data(
    EXPORTING
      name = if_wd_application=>all_url_parameters
    IMPORTING
      value = l_url_parameters ).
READ TABLE l_url_parameters WITH KEY name = 'WI_ID' INTO l_url_parameter.
4) Set the WI_ID to a componentcontroller attribute
5) This attirbute is now binded to the WDDOMODIFYVIEW method of the View
6) Finally set the form elements attributes of the VIEW by reading the container based on the WI_ID
Problems:
1) I am not getting the form populated
2) The form is getting populated if I hardcode the WI_ID and execute the application directly from backend.
Please tell me where I might have gone wrong.

My iCloud contact list does not contain all the contacts listed in my iPhone 5S. If I delete a contact from the phone it instantly deletes it from the iCloud on my PC. But my PC iCloud list is lacking many of the contacts on my phone.

And which account did you enter these contacts in?

But Iogin to sdm tool ( remote gui .sh) with same password, which password i am using for deploy the webdynpro java application.here in sdm tool i am able to login. and i restart the sdm , and again trying to deploy the same problem it showing.

Hi Sujana,
For deploying Web Dynpro for Java application, J2EE_admin correct password must be stored in the scured area of config tool.
Your error show that J2EE_admin information is not correct.
So, Please ask your basis team to update new J2EE_ADMIN password or you can do it in scured area of config tool.

Runtime Error While executing the WebDynpro Application

I am getting the Runtime Error While executing the WebDynpro Application. The error message is "TSV_TNEW_OCCURS_NO_ROLL_MEMORY".
It says like "
Short text
    No roll storage space of length 9728 available for OCCURS area.
What happened?
    Each transaction requires some main memory space to process
    application data. If the operating system cannot provide any more
    space, the transaction is terminated.
But while executing some other Web Dynpro Applications, i am not facing this problem.

Generally this error is a result of an infinite loop on internal table or select endselect statement where by severs temporary memory gets full. With no memory to insert new records in temporary memory system generates the dump.
Check your application or ask basis consultant to look at the memory parameters in instance profile.

Is FileVault necessary if disk contains only the OS?

I have two disks on my MacBook.
The first one is an SSD that contains only OS X. The second one is a regular HD which contains my home folder.
This second HD is an encrypted partition, so it can't be opened without a password — and if you plug it into another computer, it won't be readable without that password.
My question is: should I use FileVault in the SSD, even if my home folder is already encrypted?
If someone steals my MacBook, they won't be able to open any of my personal files (since they're in the encrypted home folder).
Would they be able to get anything useful and harmful from just the SSD that contains OS X?

I've never seen this error before... First time it happened was immediately after DLing Firefox 5 yesterday. I haven't DLed or installed anything else recently.

Unable to view Imported DC from NWDI in the webdynpro explorer view

I am facing problem with NWDS version 2.0.22. we are upgradeing EP04 SPS 14 to sps 22. When I import a DC project from NWDI from inactive view of development configuration perspective I cannot see the created DC's in Webdynpro Explorer view of webdynpro perspective but it is showing in Navigator view.
Also when I create Webdynpro Project or Webdynpro DC locally I was able to see it in Webdynpro Explorer view.
Can any one please tell me why I was not able to view imported Webdynpro DC's that I create from Inactive view of Development Configurations perspective (selected DC in inactive view and right click and create project).
Also when I compared the Folder structure in the Navigator view of Webdynpro perspective.   I found below folders structure differences.
Imported DC from Inactive View of Development configurations
Folders:
cfg, def, gen, Model Folder (and sub-forders), src(and sub-forders), test.
Files:
.dcdef and .project
Locally created DC (which is visible in the Webdynpro Explorer view)
Folders:
bin, cfg, def, gen, gen_ddic(and sub-forders), gen_wdp(and sub-forders), lib, META-INF, Model Folder, src(and sub-forders), test.
Files:
.classpath
.dcdef
.project.

How to set the WebDynpro application title (IE windows title)?

I would like to set the WebDynpro application title according to the current transaction ID. This title is the IE windows title that is shown on the upper left-corner of the IE browser.
Rule: [Object Instance Information] u2013 [Application Title] u2013 [Browser Title]
For example: Trans. <No.> - <My App> - Windows Internet Explorer
I would like to set <No.> dynamically on run-time according to my current transaction number.
I have this piece of code that gets a reference to the application info:
data: lr_app_info TYPE REF TO if_wdr_rr_application.
lr_app_info ?= wdr_task=>application->application_info.
And there is lr_app_info->get_description() method to have the description of the application, but there is no set method.
The application description can be hardcoded in:
tx. SE80, opening the WebDynpro component, then accessing its WebDynpro application. In the properties tab, there is a description field. I need to append transaction ID to it.
Do you know any way to implement this? This issue is for WebDynpro ABAP.

My question is related to the title of the Internet Explorer that we all see on the top left-corner. For WebDynpro , this is the WebDynpro application title. How can we change it?

I was created a package with an Script task written in VB.Net.
The Package was executing Successfully in BIDS.

Are you editing this job in SQL 2012? Is it wrapping your paths in \"? Like for example does the command line tab on the step look like this:
/FILE "\"D:\yourPathGoesHere.dtsx\"" /CONFIGFILE "\"D:\yourPathGoesHere.dtsConfig\"" /CHECKPOINTING OFF /REPORTING E
That's the problem I had, and I resolved it by recreating the whole thing via SQL Script and getting rid of all those \" things. I think that is preventing SSIS from looking up the precompiled binaries for your Script Task. So you should edit the command
line manually:
/FILE "D:\yourPathGoesHere.dtsx" /CONFIGFILE "D:\yourPathGoesHere.dtsConfig" /CHECKPOINTING OFF /REPORTING E

I am using NW 7.0 ehp1 sp3. I developed some Webdynpro RFC model application for the product catalog of the material related data.
Now my requirement is to provide the download functionality in EXCEL and PDF format to all of these Webdynpro (java) iView.
How we can achieve this requirement? In which part of the webdynpro application we have to write the code?
Someone can help me very clearly in steps to achieve this?

Hi,
I don't think it is possible to redirect the html stream of the Web Dynpro iView to a PDF / Excel document, since it essentially would mean you have to call the Web Dynpro application again, maintaining the state and context of the iview itself
However, using (for instance) the JExcelApi (Excel) or iText (PDF) you could create documents using the data displayed in your Web Dynpro iView, which has the added benefit you could design and layout your PDF / Excel documents in a more suitable layout for printing (most WD applications look horrible when printed)
