Container Object in Mapping not accessible

Hi everybody,
I read the same problem in this thread: Generating Sequence Number , but unfortunately no solution has been provided.
I am using a UDF from the TBIT44 course to generate a sequence number:
int inc = 1;
Integer seqNo = (Integer)container.getParameter("seqNo");
if (seqNo == null) {
seqNo = new Integer(inc);
else {
int number = seqNo.intValue() + inc;
seqNo = new Integer(number);
container.setParameter("seqNo",seqNo);
return seqNo.toString();
If I am adding some traces, I see, that every time the command container.getParameter("seqNo"); returns "null".
Why does the Parameter not be set??
Did something changed in container functionality??
Any help is appreciated.
Regards Oliver

Hi,
Do you want to access a variable with different / same UDF's across the instance of a mapping?
If yes, you have the Global Variables that make task simpler which are available from SP 14.
Refer this blog and use them ,

  • Creating the container Object In Java Mapping

    Hi,
    i I have a scenarion where i have to set some parameter in the COntainer from the Java Mapping.
    How can i get a reference to the current Container object from my Java Mapping . While using user defined function this object is already avaliable as a parameter and we do not have to create it .But in java mapping how do i get the current container object.
    regards
    Nilesh Taunk.

    Nilesh,
    sorry.. I think this is actually possible.
    In the setParameter()
    public static AbstractTrace trace;
    public void setParameter(Map param) {
              map = param;
              trace =
                   (AbstractTrace) param.get(
                        StreamTransformationConstants.MAPPING_TRACE);
    Likewise, in this method setParameter, you can get and set Container objects.
    I have shown how to use the TRACE .
    Sorry for the confusion

  • Fill Container Object in Java Mapping

    Hi Everyone,
    I use BPM and defined a container object of type integer. Now I want to fill this container object in Java Mapping. After I fill it in the next step there is a switch using the value of the container.
    How can I fill the container in Java Mapping?
    Thanks for the input.

    How can I fill the container in Java Mapping?
    Mandatory to fill the container in JAVA Mapping? If not then you can try the below:
    1) Define a Container Object...already done
    2) Let the JAVA Mapping create the required message....transformation step.
    3) include a Container Operation before the Switch step (and after the Transformation)
    4) Mode as Assign...Target will  be your Container Object (integer)....Expression will be the node from the output message of JAVA mapping.
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

  • Using Container Object in Java Mapping

    Hi All,
    I need to use a Container object inside a Java Mapping, just like the one wich is used in the Graphical Mapping.
    Here is the scenario:
    I have an Interface Mapping with three steps on it.
    The first step is a Java Mapping just to put some info in the Container. The second step is a XSLT transformation that uses an XSLT file to transforms from IDOC to xCBL. The third step is another Java Mapping that get the info from the Container and insert in the xCBL.
    Does any one knows how to do it inside the Java Mapping Code? We cannot make modifications in the XSLT file because of some internal restrictions.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    If you make the container variable is a part of your message (input of Java Mapping) then you can access as normal fields.
    Just have a look at these discussions-

  • This page contains some SWF objects that may not work properly...

    Hello Guys
    I bought this menu made by f-source into my page:
    http://beta.asphalt-driveway-sealing.com/, it's working fine except I got this message each time I am opening my file with dreamweaver CS4: 'this page contains some SWF objects that may not work properly in the most recent versions of Internet Explorer. Dreamweaver cannot  convert them to the new SWF markups. Please delete each of them and insert again' and what I did but still got this message
    the developer told me that: "I previous versions of Dreamweaver you could disable the Active
    Content Converter http://f-source.com/before_insert/
    In CS4 there is no such option."
    Please let me know what can I do then.
    Many Thanks, T&T

    Hi
    CS4 uses a 'nested' type of object code to insert swf/flv files, which is more compliant than previous code. Obviously the f-source extension is not cs4 compliant if it is changing this, (the message indicates it is doing so) and is something you should pursue via there support department. However even though it is giving you this message it should still work on live pages.

    Please help me. I don't understand why the script is launched from the sharepoint management shell but doesn't work from the cmd file.

    I have an answer for my problem:  for solving a problem I've made several steps:
    1. Run farm installation under AD admin credentials - runas /user:Domain1\DomainAdmin1 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\BIN\psconfigui.exe".
    This user has been added as farm administrator in the wizard.
    This user has been added as DBO in the SQL Server. (This is the main difference with my previous attempts)
    2. Execute a command Add-SPShellAdmin Domain1\UserAccount1 in
    the Management Shell of Sharepoint.
    3. Run SQL server and add Sharepoint_Shell_Access to the Domain1\UserAccount1
    (my main account) in the Config database
    4. Run CMD file only from Start->Run menu.
    runas /user:Domain1\UserAccount1 "C:\1.cmd".
    Do not use Total Commander command prompt or file list for executing *.cmd of *.bat files without root administrator account.
    Thanks all for help.

  • XPATH - Scope of BPM container objects

    Hi,
    I have a question.
    When we declare container objects in BPM, the scope is mentioned as "Process".
    Does this mean that I can use any container objects declared within the process anywhere.
    What I am trying to do is, after a SYNC step, I have a ASYNC step. I have to use the response from the SYNC step in the ASYNC step.
    The problem is that the interface of SYNC's response differs from ASYNC's request.
    So I was wondering if I could mention the XPATH of SYNC's response while doing the receiver determination for ASYNC.
    I tried and it does not work. But technically I assume it has to work.
    Could someone point out where I am going wrong ( My understanding / Steps that I am following ).
    Thank you team.

    When you do the mapping outside of BPM (which is recommended anyway)
    then you send the sync response directly as async request and do receiver det. and mapping. to the new structure.
    when you do mapping and receiver det. inside BPM, you should be able to access all container elements, but I do not have experience with this.

    I've been battling with this for a while and I'm getting nowhere. I'm attempting to install DPM 2012R2 onto a fresh VM with a local SQL installation. The setup is as follows:
    Server OS: 2008R2 SP1
    SQL: 2008 R2 standard with SP3(tried SP2 before this)
    Collation: SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS

    Enabled reporting servics on port 80 with the default URL
    DPM Installation does not throw any errors during the preinstall stage(The server passes all the checks)

    I've managed to get it to this stage. Originally I didn't have encryption keys or a listening port(which I fixed).

    Can you try following steps:
    If there are SSL certificates on your computer, by default SQL 2008
    installation configures HTTPS for reporting websites. When DPM tries to
    deploy reports on these websites it may fail if the reporting websites
    are not accessible (might be due to invalid/expired certificates). To
    workaround this, provided you do not require HTTPS for reporting websites do
    the following:
    1. Edit C:\Program Files\Microsoft DPM\SQL\MSRS10.MSDPMV3BETA1EVAL\Reporting
    Services\ReportServer\rsreportserver.config
    2. Set the SecureConnectionLevel to 0 if the current value is 2 (A value to
    2 means secure connection is required)
    3. Connect to SQL reporting service configuration manager and connect to the
    instance MSDPMV3BETA1EVAL
    4. Click on Web Service URL, click advanced and remove SSL identities
    5. Repeat the above for Report Manager URL
    6. Make sure report manager URL and web service URL are accessible with out
    any errors.
    6. Restart report server
    If that doesn't solve the problem, please try following steps:
    1. Open Start-> All programs->SQL server 2008->Configuration Tools->Report
    Server Configuration Manager
    2. Connect to the instance which the DPM is using to install.
    3. Browse Report Manager URL and web service url
    4. If report manager URL or web service url throws any error say 500 or 404
    fix the error. (Try also replacing machine name with localhost in url)
    5. Otherwise delete DPMReports folder (if present) using below instructions
    6. Restart reporting services
    7. Try DPM setup again.
    Deleting DPM reports:
    1. Open report manager URL in IE
    2. Click show details on right hand side
    3. Put a tick against DPMReports folder
    4. Click Delete button.

    The system cannot find the file specified
    I have tried from so many forms. This is so frustrating. Thank for everyone/anyone who wants to help. So this is what happened: I had to uninstall my previous sqlserver 2012(which worked great) for some reason, and I uninstalled everything from that download.
    Then I installed the trial edition of sql server 2012 (64 Bit) and It wouldn't connect to the database. (Error mentioned above.) My local DB is COWBOYS. (COWBOYS is also my computer name.) After this, I have tried downloading sqlexpress and sqlserver 64bit
    many times and cannot connect to my local DB.
    How do I connect to my Local DB?
    Also, I think this might help: (When I run sqlserve.exe, which I was able to find in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\LocalDB\Binn, I get an error: Your SQL server installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with(Error getting
    instance ID from name). Please uninstall then re-run setup to correct this problem.
    I would happily re install it, if it wasn't my 20th time.
    I don't have any remote connections, I don't use username/password, only window authentication. I work mostly on visual studio, but without able to store /retrieve data, I don't know how to survive.
    May be the solution is very simple, but I am too frustrated.
    Some of the things I have tried:
    From a command prompt, enter one of the following commands:
    net start "SQL Server Agent (MSSQLSERVER)" OR
    net start "SQL Server Agent(instancename)"(for instance)
    on my sql configuration, I cannot start anything because there is nothing there to start. I can post more details, if that would help. Also, some more details about the error:

    Any one that can help me, I will be greatful. Thank you so much. p.s. please ask me anything if you have any questions.

    It sounds like there are a couple things going on here.  First check if you have a successful install of SQL Server, then we'll figure out the connection issues.
    Can you launch SQL Server Configuration Manager and check for SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) if default instance or SQL Server (other name) if you've configured your instance as a named instance.  Once you find this, make sure the service is started.
    If not started, try to start it and see if it throws an error.  If you get an error, post the error message your hitting.  If the service starts, you can then launch SSMS and try to connect.  If you have a default instance, you can use the machine
    name in the connection dialog.  Ex:  "COWBOYS" where Cowboys is the machine name.  However, if you named the SQL Server instance during install, you'll need to connect using the machine\instance format.  Ex:  COWBOYS\Romo (where Romo
    is the instance name you set during install).
    You can also look at the summary.txt file in the SQL Server setup error logs to see what happened on the most recent install.  Past install history is archived in the log folder if you need to dig those up to help troubleshoot, but the most
    recent one may help get to the bottom of it if there is an issue with setup detecting a prior instance that needs to be repaired.

  • Database table 'e' is not accessible

    Hi all,
    like many others in the web I'm having problems deploying CMP Beans on BEA. I'm using Weblogic 8.1 and
    get the following error message:
    "[EJB:011076]Unable to deploy the EJB 'B' because the database table 'b' is not accessible. Please ensure that this table exists and is accessible."
    After a lot of research I understand the problem now. Weblogic is checking the cmp-fields at deployment time using something like "SELECT xx1, xx2, xxx3 FROM ttt1 WHERE 1 = 0". Some databases have no problem with such a select. My Solid database unfortunately does a full table scan on it. Having only some rows in the table b there is no problem at all, but I have more than 500.000 entries. :-(
    My question: Is there a workaround? Can I somewhere specify the SQL - command for checking mapped cmp-fields? Or can I disable the check somehow?
    I think it is a very annoying problem, many users out there have.
    Thanx in advance
    Robert

    I think it is a very annoying problem, many users out there have.Hi. All commercial quality DBMSes I know, are smart enough to evaluate constant search
    criteria, and not to access all the rows if it's a-priori known that no rows will
    qualify. I would ask 'Solid' for a fix.
    However, you can generate our EJBs with the option of retaining the generated
    JDBC code, which you could alter and recompile for your use. You might be able to
    substitute some DatabaseMetaData call to getTableColumns() to get the same info...

  • Site not accessible from the Load balanced web front end server - sharepoint 2010

    I have a production environment with 2 WFE's(sp-wfe1 & sp-wfe2), 2 APP's and 2 SQL clustered VM's.
    2 WFE's are load balanced using hardware load balancer.
    An A-Record(PORTAL) is created in DNS for the virtual IP of the load balancer which points to the 2 WFE's.
    A web application is created on the WFE's on port 80.
    alternative access mapping is configured and the load balanced record "http://PORTAL" is used under the default zone.
    Under IIS I have edited the bindings for the sharepoint site at port 80 and added the HOSTNAME as PORTAL.
    Result: The site is accessible from outside the server and works fine.
    ISSUE: The site is not accessible within the WFE's(sp-wfe1 & sp-wfe2).
    When I browse the site from the WFE's server it ask for the credentials and when I enter the credentials and click OK it ask the credentials again and again and in the end displays a blank page.
    Kindly help me in this issue because I am clueless and couldn't find anything helpful on the internet.

  • How can I create a object for a note?

    Hi experts,
        I need to apply the note 501905 but when I try in the SNOTE transacction I receive this error:
    Object REPS Z_MRM_DELETE_PP does not exist; create it
    Diagnosis
    The SAP Note that you want to implement contains changes to an object that does not yet exist in your system.
    SAP Notes contain only changes to objects that already exist. This means that the the system cannot automatically create new objects during the implementation of this SAP Note.
    Procedure
    1. Cancel the SAP Note implementationl.
    2. Create an empty object REPS Z_MRM_DELETE_PP with the corresponding object editor.
    3. Restart the SAP Note implementation.
    How can I create that Object??
    Thanks for the help!

    Hi Carlos,
    It says that you have to create a new program with a name Z_MRM_DELETE_PP.
    Once you create and activate the program you can execute the SAP Note.
    All this processure will be written in the SAP Note.
    Please Go through the Note using below:
    Step1: Use T.code SNOTE.
    Step2: Use menu GOTO --> NOTE BROWSER. Provide the Note no and EXECUTE.
    Step3: Double click on the displayed line.
    Here you will get the information to do before implementing the note.
    Go through all the documentation, and once you did all the development given in the note then you can implement the note.
    Regards,
    Sreekanth.

    A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The
    server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26- Error:Locating Server\instance Specified)
    How Can i solve this?

    1. Make sure SQL Server Service is running
    2. If a named instance, make sure SQL Server browser service is running
    3. Make sure SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections
    4. Examine the SQL Server error log for messages confirming that SQL is listening on the expected network interfaces and ports
    5. Test server connectivity with PING from the client machine
    6. Test port connectivity using TELNET or PowerShell to the server and port (from step 4) from the client machine.  For example
    a. TELNET <server-name> 1433
    b. PowerShell: 1433 | % { echo ((new-object Net.Sockets.TcpClient).Connect("YourServerName",$_)) "server listening on TCP port $_" }
    7. Check firewall settings if step 5 or 6 connectivity test fails
