Database table 'e' is not accessible

Hi all,
like many others in the web I'm having problems deploying CMP Beans on BEA. I'm using Weblogic 8.1 and
get the following error message:
"[EJB:011076]Unable to deploy the EJB 'B' because the database table 'b' is not accessible. Please ensure that this table exists and is accessible."
After a lot of research I understand the problem now. Weblogic is checking the cmp-fields at deployment time using something like "SELECT xx1, xx2, xxx3 FROM ttt1 WHERE 1 = 0". Some databases have no problem with such a select. My Solid database unfortunately does a full table scan on it. Having only some rows in the table b there is no problem at all, but I have more than 500.000 entries. :-(
My question: Is there a workaround? Can I somewhere specify the SQL - command for checking mapped cmp-fields? Or can I disable the check somehow?
I think it is a very annoying problem, many users out there have.
Thanx in advance
Robert

I think it is a very annoying problem, many users out there have.Hi. All commercial quality DBMSes I know, are smart enough to evaluate constant search
criteria, and not to access all the rows if it's a-priori known that no rows will
qualify. I would ask 'Solid' for a fix.
However, you can generate our EJBs with the option of retaining the generated
JDBC code, which you could alter and recompile for your use. You might be able to
substitute some DatabaseMetaData call to getTableColumns() to get the same info...

  • SAP database tables - Column statistics not found for table in DB02 - During import, inconsistent tables were found - Some open conversion requests still exist in the ABAP dictionary.

    Hi Experts,
    I'm implementing SAP note 1990492 which requires manual implementation. Implementation includes modifying standard tables (i.e. append
    the structure FIEU_S_APP_H to table FIEUD_FIDOC_H). After this I've adjusted the table in SE14 (Database Utility). I've done checks in SE14 and it shows the table is consistent.
    But during DB02 -> Space folder -> Single table analysis -> Input table name -> Indexes tab -> Upon clicking statistics, there is a warning "Column statistics not found for table".
    Our basis team is implementing an Add-On in the development system related to RWD Context Sensitive Help. They cannot proceed due to the following inconsistencies found in the table.
    Screenshot error from the activity:

    I'm an ABAP developer and have no other ideas on what to do. Thanks in Advanced.

    Hi All,
    We were able to fix the issue through the following:
    1. Call transaction
    SE14.
    2. Enter the name of
    the table and choose "Edit".
    3. Choose
    "Indexes".
    4. Select the index
    and choose "Choose (F2)".
    5. If you choose
    "Activate and adjust", the system creates the index again and it is
    consistent.
    6. Check the object
    log of this activation.
    7. If an error
    occurs, eliminate the cause and reactivate the index.

  • Weblogic Conversational WebService Database table migtration to 8 in WLS10

    Does the Weblogic Conversational WebService Database table WLS 8.1 still exist in Weblogic 10 (for migration purpose) (in WLS 8.1, the table name was mentioned in the wlw-manifest.xml) ?
    If not what table does the WebService use to persiste its state ?
    The WLI upgrade documentation mentioned that the wlw-manifest.xml migrate from the META-INF to the WEB-INF, does it still the same for Weblogic ? (no recommandationon this subject)
    Does it still a test console for conversational WebService ?

  • "Table VSEOPARENT is not in the database" after SolMan system copy to x64

    Hi SDNners,
    We've just completed a system copy of our SolMan 3.1 system onto a new
    (Xeon x64 based) server. This system copy is part of the process of
    moving SolMan 3.1 from an old server onto 64bit hardware and then
    upgrading it to SolMan v4 and Oracle 10G.
    Although the system appears to start properly in the MMC, we are unable
    to log into the system through SAPGUI - we get a SYNTAX_ERROR window
    instead of a logon screen.
    I've checked the SysLog from within the MMC and noticed a number of
    errors stating:
    Database: Table VSEOPARENT is not in the database
    Database: Table VSEOIFIMPL is not in the database
    Database: Table VSEOIFCOMP is not in the database
    I tried running SQL command 'select * from "SAPSOL"."VSEOPARENT"; and
    it confirmed that the table didn't exist. I then ran the same command
    on the source SolMan system and it showed that VSEOPARENT DID exist. I
    don't understand how these VSEO* tables could have gone missing between
    the source and target systems.
    I've searched OSS for VSEO* and cannot find anything. Please help!
    Thanks,
    Arwel.

    We have 640 kernel, ECC 5.0 and BASIS patch 23.
    For me the problem was with SAPVIEW table wasnt imported from source to target becuase SAPVIEW.STR file was 0 byte. STR files gets created in export preparation phase.
    It did happen because on source side master DVD, there was no option for export preparation. I had only option for tablesplit and export db.
    I did use ECC 5.0 SR2 Master DVD which had option for export preparation phase and that created SAPVIEW.STR file.
    Using migration monitor I did re-export and re-import and this time all views are imported in target.

    Mamadi.

    Hi Arwel,
    how exactly did you copy the database to the new server?
    the tables you stated are an essential part of the ABAP runtime environment, so the syntax error is surely because of these tables are missing.

  • Need to insert into NVARCHAR2 column in a database table

    I need to insert into a table with column type NVARCHAR2(2000) in java.
    Cant use normal setString on that column. How can I do this using PreparedStatement in Java?

    The scenario is:
    I have to read a CSV file which contains a column in Urdu language, and show it on the JTable first.
    Then I have to import the JTable contents into a database table.
    Database Table structure is:
    CREATE TABLE IMPORT_TMP (
    ctype          VARCHAR2(3),
    urdu_name  NVARCHAR2(2000)
    );My java code which inserts into the database table is:
                    Vector dataVector = tableModel.getDataVector();
                    rowVector = (Vector) dataVector.get(row);
                  cType = "";
                    if (rowVector.get(INDEX_BANK) != null) {
                        cType = rowVector.get(INDEX_CTYPE).toString();
                    urduName = "";
                    if (rowVector.get(INDEX_URDU_NAME) != null) {
                        urduName = rowVector.get(INDEX_URDU_NAME).toString();
                    statementInsert.setString(1, cType);
                    statementInsert.setString(2, urduName);I also applied Renderer on the table column, my renderer class is:
    public class LangFontRenderer extends JLabel implements TableCellRenderer {
        private Font customFont;
        public LangFontRenderer(Font font) {
            super();
            customFont = font;
            System.out.println("font = " + font.getFontName());
            this.setFont(font);
        @Override
        public Component getTableCellRendererComponent(JTable table,
                Object value, boolean isSelected, boolean hasFocus, int row, int column) {
            if (value != null) {
                if (value instanceof String) {
                    setText((String) value);
                    return this;
            return this;
        @Override
        public Font getFont() {
            return customFont;
        // overriding other methods for performance reasons only
        @Override
        public void invalidate() {
        @Override
        public boolean isOpaque() {
            return true;
        @Override
        public void repaint() {
        @Override
        public void revalidate() {
        @Override
        public void validate() {
    }I applied the renderer on the column as:
            TableColumn col = IATable.getColumnModel().getColumn(INDEX_URDU_NAME);
            LangFontRenderer langRenderer = new LangFontRenderer(new java.awt.Font("Urdu Naskh Asiatype", 0, 11));
            col.setCellRenderer(langRenderer);It does not give any error but when i query on the database table it does not show the column data in Urdu language.
    Also it does not show the correct value on JTable column, some un-identified symbols.
    Furthermore when I open the CSV file in notepad, it shows the correct language in that column, as I have installed the Urdu language and font on my system.

  • Database table

    Hi all,
    I have created a database table with the following fields
    1) mandt
    2) matnr
    3) werks
    4) lgort
    5) length - used my own datatype
    6) erfme
    7) erfmg
    i have mandt as primary field.
    now after inserting the first record while i am trying to insert a new one, it always gives me the same message however i change the data.
    it says A DATA RECORD WITH THE SPECIFIED KEY ALREADY EXISTS.
    plz help me out on this.
    Thanks and Regards,
    C.A

    Hi,
    In the Database table you have mentioned MANDT as primary key.
    But Mandt by default filled as the logon client number.
    So again if you insert new records it will take same client no but in Database table it is not possible. Thats why it is showing the error.
    Better you add one more primary key except MANDT then there will be no problem.

    Use ORDER BY in your select.  Or just select your data into an itab and use SORT.  I don't see the problem.
    If you mean that you want to sort your table in the database itself, then you can't.  Database table rows are not held in any specific order; the order is applied when you select the data out of the table.

  • Retrive last inserted  record  from database table

    Hi,
    some body inserting a record into table 'A' through some procedure/java program.i want to retrive the last inserted record from database table.records are not stored in order.Can any body help me.

    In general, unless you are storing a timestamp as part of the row or you have some sort of auditing in place, Oracle has no idea what the "first" or "last" record in a table is. Nor does it track when a row was inserted.
    - If you have the archived logs from the point in time when the row was inserted, you could use LogMiner to find the timestamp
    - If the insert happened recently (i.e. within hours), you may be able to use flashback query to get the value
    - If you're on 10g or later and the table was built with ROWDEPENDENCIES and the insert happened in the last few days and you can deal with a granularity of a few seconds and you don't need 100% accuracy, you could get the ORA_ROWSCN of the row and convert that to a timestamp.
    If this is something you contemplate needing, you need to store the data in the row or set up some sort of auditing.

  • Do you know of a standard tool to compare the fields of 2 database tables?

    do you know of a standard tool to compare the fields of 2 database tables? please note i dont want to compare data just the fields.
    ~Suresh

    Hi,
    I am not aware any standard tool but you can write custom report to use FM DDIF_FIELDINFO_GET to get fields information of SAP database table.
    Call the above FM twice in order to get field names for two different database tables. Then compare the results (table parameter DFIES_TAB) to find out the differences of field names.
    Hope this will help ...

  • Database querry & attempted update not working as expected????

    Hi All,
    I am posting my question here because it is related to a web application that I am developing. However as this question is database related I may not be posting in the correct location, please forgive me if this is the case.
    I recently developed a web application that uses JSP on the front end, servlets for processing, and a mysql database on the back end.
    I am using the Tomcat 5 software container, and instead of developing complex database pooling classes I am using the "DataSource" aspect of Tomcat. A relevant section of web.xml follows;
    <!-- Database Connection Pool Resources Defined -->
    <resource-ref>
          <res-ref-name>jdbc/craftstampindexes</res-ref-name>
          <res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
          <res-auth>Container</res-auth>
    </resource-ref>
    <resource-ref>
          <res-ref-name>jdbc/stampData</res-ref-name>
          <res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
          <res-auth>Container</res-auth>
    </resource-ref>
    <resource-ref>
          <res-ref-name>jdbc/craftsurvey</res-ref-name>
          <res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
          <res-auth>Container</res-auth>
    </resource-ref>
    <resource-ref>
          <res-ref-name>jdbc/currencyconversion</res-ref-name>
          <res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
          <res-auth>Container</res-auth>
    </resource-ref>I then access the contents of the databases defined above through a servlet, and then use the results (saved into JavaBeans from the Servlet) to build a JSP.
    I have had this code fully functional before. However recently I changed development computers and now the code does not appear to be functional.
    When I last had the code functioning information was correctly read from database tables and the tables were also successfully updated (where required).
    However now that I have changed development computers, tables are not updating. Strangely enough I am able to querry database tables, however I am not able to update them. Even though my servlet code tries to update the database tables I am not seeing any error messages, all I am seeing is the old contents of the database table, which are not being updated. I thought that I would have seen an error through Tomcat itself if Servlet code failed to update a table, however this is not happening.
    The only thing that I can think of which could be contributing to this error is the fact that on my old computer I had mysql installed onto a data patition called "D:\" drive, now I have installed mysql onto the standard Windows root directory "C:\" drive. This doesn't make it any easier for me to understand why tables are being read but not updated!!!
    Any help with this will be greatly appreciated, as I am truly at a loss. If I can provide further information which could be of assistance please don't hesitate to let me know.
    Thanks for your time.
    Kind Regards
    David Dartnell

    Finished looking up DataSource
    Entered doPost() method
    Database access code should be accessed now
    All table querries should have been performed now
    Request dispatched to surveyResult.jsp
    It looks as though the entire synchronized block of code is being completely skipped!
    If anybody could offer further assistance it will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks for your time.

  • How to load text file data to Oracle Database table?

    By using Oracle Forms, how to load text file data to Oracle Database table?

    Metalink note 33247.1 explains how to use text_io as suggested by Robin to read the file into a Multi-Row block. However, that article was written for forms 4.5 and uses CREATE_RECORD in a loop. There was another article, 91513.1 describing the more elegant method of 'querying' the file into the block by transactional triggers. Unfortunately this more recent article has disappeared without trace and Oracle deny its existence. I know it existed as I have a printed copy in front of me, and very useful it is too.

  • Database table entries not getting viewed on SAP Screen

    Hi
    I have created Z-Code to update a standard SAP table.  After executing my program I can see my desired entries in that SAP database table but when I am trying to view that same entries in SPRO I am not able to view it there.
    Am I missing something? Even if my entries are coming in SAP database table do I need to do something extra to view them on SAP screen.
    Thanks

    You're missing some common sense and the knowledge to be tasked to do such a thing. And the person/consultant who gave you this task as well.
