Content frame body container template issue

Dears,
I use region template Content frame body container it's a parent region , and i use another child region hide and show template , and i have text item like item_1 , item_2 , the problem i want to make item_2 in grid layout Start New Row = no
but the item_2 item not be in the same row with item_1 ?
why ? and how can solve this problem ?

End users that use Internet Explorer (versions 8 and 9), when they first visit the application their browser displays it in Compatibility View.
They cannot see the side bar on the right-hand side, meaning that often they cannot see a lot of necessary buttons and info!

I am not sure it is possible, nor good practice, to force the app to display in non-compatibility mode.

I'd like to make it better from my end!The problem is with IE. It appears that these users or your system admins have activated Compatibility View for your app, site, or your entire intranet. These settings should be removed in order for the DOCTYPE in the theme 25 pages to trigger true standards mode.

HTML content within a Container

Hello.
New to FLEX and wondering if there is anyway to provide HTML
content within a container, sort of like iFrames or HTML frames? Is
there anyway to do this with FLEX?

Will this eventually be available in Flex Builder for use in
web-based SWF applications? This is a huge requirement for us. We
are currently using the 'iFrame' hack to get around this but are
plagued with event handling issues to correctly hide the iFrame
when needed. In large scale products, such we are working on, url
integration with our components of our products is a must
requirement. Any insight here would be great on what we can do in
Flex Builder 2.01 for this.
We also have a requirement that Linux, Windows (and secondary
requirement MAC) systems can use our product.

Sharepoint Online - Content Search, some Display Templates missing.

I'm experimenting Content Search web parts in a number of Site Collections, but appear to be getting different Display Templates available.
Can anyone explain what controls the availability of the templates please...

I just had the same issue, I think it was something with broken upgrade code from 2013.
Anyways, I solved it:
Go to Master Page Gallery --> Display Templates --> Content Web Parts
Delete all JavaScript Files in there except the Group_Content.js (!!!), they seem to have messed up metadata (Content Type Reference and Template Level)
Open up PowerShell and issue this command:
Get-SPFeature SearchTemplatesandResources | Enable-SPFeature -Url [URLtoBrokenSite] -Force
This will re-upload the JavaScript files and all controls and templates finally are there again, hopefully ;)

ITS 6.1 : Printing the contents in a container in webgui

Hai All,
I have a module pool program which displays, employees details with there photo in a container. I used method "CALL METHOD html_control->execwb." to print the content within the container. The program works fine when i run the program in SAP gui. I have created the transaction code as "SAP GUI for HTML"
The problem is we are using ITS server 6.1, when i run the same program in webgui, the print functionality is not working. The reason being the above method is related to OLE, which will not work in "SAP GUI FOR HTML".
We can print the content of the container by right clicking whithin the container and selecting print. Is it possible to have that functionality by clicking a button in the screen. That is when the user clicks a button in the screen the content of the container should be printed.
Please let me know, is there any solution for this.

Hi Hayath,
this method is Windows only. Neither webgui nor java gui support the method because it based on OLE.
But you can insert a link in the HTML and execute the print method of the window object when clicking on the link.
Example:

hi! an error message showed on my device last week and Apple support helped me restore the software on my device. Syncing went well and all my apps were available after. However, when I looked at my music in my device, it did not contain anything. The songs were in Itunes on my laptop and when I tried to play them they did not play. But, it says music is available for my account in the cloud. When I switched to the cloud, I was able to play my music already. But everytime I synced, the music from the cloud are not transferred to my device. Most of the music that I have are from other sources. How do I download those again to my device? I tried what I did before which was to copy the song from my laptop then edit paste it to iTunes but this did not work like before when automatically it becomes available on my device.

Minimizing window causes content frame to be cropped

Hi,
In one of the page in my application, I have a page I have a from and number of reports as content frame region. The problem is when I try to make the screen smaller (the width), the buttons on top of the region starts to get cropped.

APEX Version: Apex 4.2.2,
Theme: 26.

Child Regions: Hide and Show Region - Borderless
Would appreciate if someone can suggest a CSS fix that produces a scroll bar at the bottom of the page when users narrow width of the browser window. Have tried fiddling around with overflow property with no luck Many Thanks.

"Body-Contains" limit

Hi,
I can't find this documented anywhere, but I am thinking there is a maximum number associated with the number of matches that can be counted with the 'body-contains' rule, for example;
body-contains("someword",1000) - works just fine
...but using say a count of 10,000 (a lot, I know!) does not.

i can't find it documented anywhere. but it sounds like a bad idea... content filters (GUI) have form validation to restrict you from entering a value of > 1000 term matches. message filters (CLI) may lack similar data validation but it uses more or less the same scanning capabilities so there must be a resource consumption type reason to limit term matches to 1000. i've only ever seen someone use values from 1 through 10 in that field to be honest.
if you do decide to use that in production - let us know what happens.

Email Alert Template Issue - List Alerts (Alert Me) emails not using customized XML alert template

We have recently customized the XML alerts template (AlertTemplates.xml) for our site collection in SharePoint 2010 to exclude specific fields in the email when users who have subscribed using the "Alert Me" feature. We have renamed the
custom alerts XML file and loaded the custom template in the following directory (%ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web server extensions\14\TEMPLATE\XML) and restarted IIS. Once users subscribe to the alerts using the list "alert me"
function they received the customized email as intended.
We needed to auto-subscribe users to the email alerts so what we did was use a powershell script to add users to the alert subscriptions using the script shown below:

When we ran the script and added the users and restarted the service, all users who were auto-subscribed via this method get the email without the customizations that were done in teh custom alert template. All users who manually subscribed on their

Does anyone know why users who manually subscribe to the alerts get the customized email, and users who were auto-subscribed using the powershell script do not get the customized email and get the standard generic email template?

According to your code, it create a new alert using SPUser.Alerts.Add() method. For this method, it will create a new alert based on the predefined alert template by default.
If you only assigned the custom alert template to the list, users who manually subscribe to the alerts get the customized email, but users who were auto-subscribed using the PowerShell script get the standard
generic email template.
For your issue, you can set the new alert ‘s alert template:

I have No content in body of Yahoo Mail when using FF 8.0 but is OK when using IE. Have cleared cache, disabled extension and add ons and Java is enabled. Even went to FF 7, but no content in email?

What is the name of Robohelp's content frame?

A web browser's Print command provides unpredicatable results
for users for Robohelp documentation.
1) You can add a print command to any frame by inserting the
following javascript command in the hyperlink "Link to:" field for
the print graphic or text command that you insert :

However, for consistency in your documentation, this needs to
be inserted on every page, or in the header or footer used on every
page in your manual.
2) A better solution would be to add a print icon and label
to the toolbar. (The javacript above enables you to print the
content of the frame in which it is located - the toolbar; this is
not useful.) You need to use your skin editor to add a custom item
to the main toobar. In the Action window, select Javascript, and
OnClick. Then insert the following javascript command:

All you (and I, unfortunately) need to know is the name of

Does IIS Reset stop/start or IIS Restart fix template issues? See photos.

I have been having major template issues over the past couple of weeks where several templates give me access denied. I have been in contact with Microsoft about the issue, but after 2 days and 5 hours on the phone, the issue still cannot be resolved.
I then tried to use old sites that had the templates and "Save Site as Template". The new template that was saved are stored in the Solutions Gallery (template is "activated").
I ran the create new site process and chose the new template that I saved.
The template looked like this last week,
Now the template looks like this today.
In between last week and this week, I did an SP2 installation to Project Server 2010/SharePoint 2010.
I also did an IIS Reset /stop and IIS reset/ start
I also went into the IIS Manager on the central administration server and clicked "Restart".
This is a very time sensitive issue, and want to know how I accidentally resolved the issue. It's very weird that any of these above would change the template, but somehow it did. I do not want to reset IIS if I do not have to. If anyone has any idea on
how this could have gotten resolved it would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if iisreset always fixes this issue.
Sorry for my misleading description, I thought that there was a possiable that some js/css files weren't loaded in the browser randomly for new site created based on the template, so I think maybe some js/css files customized
and referenced in the orginal site (or in new site) may need to be checked-in and published.
Now I think is it possible that the issue is related to js/css load sequence in browser? or is it browser compatible issue(maybe not based on iisreset)?
Or you may try add new site in trusted site in IE see if it helps.
Also check if browser F12 developer tool could provide some useful information.

SunPlexManager: pages do not open in content frame

I�m a little annoyed at the behaviour of the Sun Java Web Console/SunPlexManager.
When I click on the links in the navigation frame most of the time the addressed web page does not open in the content frame on the right but instead it terminates the frameset opening on the _parent level.
I�m using Sun Cluster 3.1 08/05 with current patches on SOLARIS 10/SPARC servers and Firefox 1.08/Linux.
Anyone have any clues?

Like when opening top sites and viewing open web pages....On clicking the bookmarks symbol in the tool bar (next to the top sites box ) I used to be able to view the web pages fully open showing the content in the history browsing like they do in top sites.
If I log out and log back in to my account it sorts it out for a bit....
