Continuous "Loading Topics"

Out of the blue, and, for as far as I can tell no reason, ALL of my html projects have trouble opening in Robohelp 7.  After selecting the desired project (and I repeat that this applies to all projects and even very old versions of my projects) from the Starter, the project does appear in Robohelp, but I can't do anything with it because it is very busy "Loading Topics."  This happens for a while, maybe 2 minutes or so, and then I try to open up an HTML doc but when I move the mouse, the "Loading Topics" starts again.  Every time I move the cursor, RH starts loading topics.  This can go on for hours and I just given up waiting at that point.  As a result, I no longer have access to my projects.
What I have tried:  Rebooting, Uninstalling and Reinstalling (on XP), installing RH from scratch on an another machine altogether that has Vista on it.  All yield the same issue of never-ending loading topics.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated, for I'm completely stuck and in a total panic.

The first thing I would try is to create a copy of one of your projects, rename the CPD and then try again.

  • Problem with continuous loading logo when accessing YouTube

How do I overcome a continuous 'loading' logo when trying to access YouTube?

If you're stuck within an app or you've noticed a problem, simply hold both the home button and sleep/wake button at the same time. It's important to keep your fingers on these buttons until step 3.
After a few seconds the red ‘slide to power off' screen will appear, simply ignore this. Ensure your fingers are still holding down the home and sleep/wake switch.
Shortly after you should see the Apple logo, it's now safe to let go of the iPad's buttons. Your iPad should now boot, beware this process can take up to 15 minutes or so.

  • How can I stop acrobat dc continually loading the right hand toolbar on every pdf I open

How can I stop the right hand toolbar continually loading in the new acrobat dc, it is infuriating and am getting extremely annoyed with it as I have to close it every time I load a pdf.  I use the arrow to close and it reopens on the next pdf.

Yes very disappointed in how Toolbar functionality generally is so degraded with this DC version. It is as if the product designers have no idea how people use the product. And it degrades its most basic functionality, the ability to read a PDF. I am tempted to switch to one of the many other PDF readers which is one less reason for Creative Cloud.
The default toolbar contains numerous sticky items that I have never needed in the past 15 years, as sticky icons anyway. That little cell phone icon, email, print, and now with Home/Tools/Document alongside with no ability to move them. These fill valuable toolbar space, the result being that side-by-side windows no longer display the toolbar items I actually use. I almost always have PDFs open beside other applications so this means 100% of the time the new design is flawed vs the prior. This is really really basic for any application: personalized toolbars. It was present in WordPerfect in 1993, for example. DC is not to 1993 UI standards.
Get on this immediately, please. Specifically, get rid of the persistent right pane as many of us clearly do not want to use it "all the time" as is forced. And, allow the top toolbar to be fully customizable so those of us who have been customizing toolbars in our applications since 1993 can do so in this allegedly state of the art PDF reader.

  • Photoshop will not open, just continually loads. Any ideas why?

When I open photoshop it opens to the workspace but then a white box comes up and the program becomes non responsive and continually loads. Anybody else experienced this?

Try holding down Command - Option - Shift [Mac] or Control - Alt - Shift [Windows] while you are launching Photoshop. Answer "yes" as to deleting the preferences file. That will restore the default settings and, hopefully, fix this.

  • How to bulk load topics in RH9

Is there anyway to bulk load topics into a RH TOC and create topic files?  I have a long list of topics (100+) to add to my TOC and project file that are listed in a text document. Is there an easy way to take the list in the text document and create all of the corresponding TOC entries and topic files?

I've never tried it, but you could try to import your list from someplace like Word or FrameMaker and set the Pagination settings on the style you're using to break the doc up into topics.

  • SpeedGrade is in a continuous load loop, and won't open

    I'm on a Macbook Pro
    OSX 10.9.5
    2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
When I go to open up SpeedGrade CC or SpeedGrade CC 2014, I get a continuous loading loop that sticks at the loading screen, and it never crashes or opens anything. Adobe CC says it's up to date. Please help!
    Thanks,
    V

At this point, you probably need to uninstall & reinstall ... but with a very specific process.
First, download the Adobe CC Cleaner app. It runs in a "command window" screen like an old DOS program, but works very well. The instructions say to use your system program uninstall utility however ... doing that did not help when I needed to do this. I suggest using the CC cleaner app itself for everything ... as in ...
Install & run CC Cleaner app from Adobe's website. Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
Use it to clean out SpeedGrade and all it's references, prefs & all ...
Then using the Creative Cloud desktop control app, download a fresh copy & install it.
Hopefully this will take care of your troubles ...

  • Firefox Continuously Loads When First Opened

When I first open Firefox (after a restart or simply after closing the browser and opening it again), the pinned tabs and my regular home page tab continuously load. No matter how long I wait, the loading circle icon continues to spin, and no content will appear. When I attempt to open any other webpages, the same issue happens--the continuously loading circle.
I ''never'' receive an "Error loading webpages" message, "Not connected to the internet," or anything to that effect; the pages all stay blank with the loading circle no matter how long I leave it.
In order to get Firefox to load the pages, I typically have to open and close the browser anywhere from 2-4 times before the pages will load.
I do not have this issue in any other browser, and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no change. Firefox is fully updated, and all extraneous plug-ins have been removed.

I managed to solve my own problem.
It was a plug-in error; I went to the plug-in checker (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/), updated my plug-ins, and voila! problem solved.

  • My ipod touch is continually loading and does not come on

ipod is continually loading. please how do i fix this

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Itunes store is continually loading

The music store seems to be continually loading when i start itunes. The message bar says accessing music store and it goes on and on. I can't buy new music. It's very frustrating. I tried uninstalling and re-installing but the problem remains. Anyone know how to fix this?

I have the exact same problem, it keeps telling me at the end though to check my network connection, which is working perfectly, so I haven't a clue how to fix it. It was loading as per normal for about two months after Christmas(when I installed it),then just stopped. Sorry this isn't an answer, but I'm just as perplexed as yourself

  • Continuous loading of an infosource

During our year end close we would like to continually load a certain infosource during the day to keep the data as fresh as possible.  I am looking for feedback on the best way to do this.  I have tested a process chain that is started by an event, the last step in the chain ends with an abap program that calls the event again which kicks off the chain again.  This works ok but i am wondering if there is a better way!

    Hi Tracy
I hope you are loading deltas in this scenario and not the full updates. Please try to keep distance of 15-20 min between two instances of process chain start. This will give a process chain some breathing space and withing 15-20 mins you will get good amount of delta data too.
    Hope it helps
    Regards

  • Continuous loading of images

Aperture 1.1.1 loads images continually -- all the adjustment tools are disabled. I have tried deleting the Aperature .plist file in the preferences without success. I am running a 2Ghz IMac G5 with 1.5GB ram. Aperture 1.0 ran without problems.

    Thanks for the help.
The image has the small "loading" indicator superimposed with the little spoke indicator, although the spokes are not spinning. No beachball spinning elsewhere. The loading indicator disappears temporarily if I select the crop tool but returns if I go back to the image. Also the loupe tool can be accessed but it also has a "loading" indicator and does not function to magnify.
This occurs with virtually all images that are in the database -- not just newly loaded images. I thought perhaps there was some translation process necessary to Aperture 1.1.1 so I left the program running overnight. No improvement. I reloaded 1.1.1, also without improvement. The program is useless at the moment.
    Thanks again for any guidance.
