Continuous raster is not working for imported Illustrator files - I am working on the latest versions of both. I tried importing a simple graphic and having it continuously raster, nothing else, and it won't work.
I set up my file in Illustrator as a video file, same size as the AfterEffects file I'm working on - but the continuous raster button doesn't work. Any ideas?
If you have applied raster layer effects in illustrator, then it won't work because you no longer have a vector image.
What is the zoom factor of your composition window? What is the resolution of your comp window? If you would post a screenshot of your composition with the properties of the layers in question revealed by pressing the u key twice maybe we would have a clue what you are doing wrong. It's quite difficult to come up with an answer with out some details. We need more details.

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Download and install the OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Combo Update.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Hi. I love working on Fireworks. I use it to tweak pictures for web letters. I had the latest full version at my previous company but is now on my own and can't afford the latest version. Is there anyway of loading an older Adobe Fireworks version for my Macbook for a bit cheaper?
The latest (and forever last) version is CS6 - it is a dead product,and no longer maintained or supported by Adobe.

It will cost you $299 - but honestly, I would stay away from FW at this point. You are investing money in a dead application, and there is a good chance that it will no longer function properly on your mac in a few years time.

I have an iMac11.2 and am running Mac OS 10.6.8. I have not had a problem viewing videos until the past week or so. Now I cannot view videos on my news, facebook or in email messages at all. A message pops up in the window that says "Blocked plug-in". I have downloaded the latest version of Flash Player for which it asks and still no luck. Can anyone here help me with this? Thank you. Is Apple going to fix Safari 5.1.2? It has been a nightmare for since the update. I only had my Mac for a short period of time and didn't have the problem when I started. It all started when the update was loaded. It is puzzling when Mozilla FireFox works better, but slower than the Safari. I was told this browser was the best to use for Macs. I am not seeing it! I have empty the cache, reset Safari, and reset the prefences. I still can't images, server not found error, or best yet-not connected to the internet when the news ticker is running. What more can I do so I can make use of Safari? I am tired to reset and clear cache every time I wish to go browse.

I finally threw in the towel and called tech support since it is free for me for the moment after making my post this morning. They fix my Safari problem! First, they had me do a shut down and unplug the computer for 30 seconds. This idea didn't work for me. Then they had me go and change my DNS from my IP address that was listed to the following:
Go to System Preferences
Click on Network
Click Advance
Click on DSN
Under DSN Severs there is a plus sign. Click on it.
Type: 8.8.8.8
Add another by clicking the plus sign and Type: 8.8.4.4
Go back to the beginning--main page and push the Apply button and then close.
Open Safari to see if that works
This works! So far my Safari 5.1.2 is working like it was before the update on Lion and Safair package! I hope this will help some of you.

Itunes will not open from my desk top. It just says "This version of Itunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the English version". How can I change versions or whatever if unable to open at all? TIA
Let's try a repair install of iTunes.
Restart the PC first.
If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", and click "Change". Select "Repair" and click "Next" as per the following screenshot:
