Control two functions using a button

Hi,
is it possible to control two functions like clearing voltage graph and current graph, by just clicking one button on the front panel?
how can this be done?

Put the code for both functions inside the same case of a case structure.

Hello,
first off, I am relatively new to actionscript 3.0. I was
wondering if anyone knows how I can control two events on one (the
same) button click. On click, the first function must jump the user
to a particular frame label and at the same time trigger a second
function which is a movie clip on that particular frame. I must
note that the event listener is attached to an actual Button and
not a movie clip.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since updating to iOS7.0.4, my iPhone 4S rarely plays text sounds or in-app sounds. Also volume control is no longer functioning using side buttons. When can we expect a fix Apple?

Have done recovery, reset settings, reset content and settings. Nothing changes the fact that its 7.0.4.
Ringtone sound works. Can adjust ringtone sound in settings but it wont play text sounds from in settings. Definitely appears to be a firmware bug.
Can someone from Apple ackowledge this issue please and advise how long till it is fixed? I am missing important texts that i need to be recieving.

It doesn't appear to affect every 4S. I don't know if theres specific batches it affects or maybe its location based, but i have a friend who has the same phone as me and theirs did exactly the same thing only after doing the firmware update. I'm pretty confident it is a bug. Looking around on google, it seems like its happening to a lot of other 4S users.
I have done a settings reset, didn't fix it. Did a settings and content reset, didn't fix it. Did a full recovery back to the backup i did when i first purchased it, didn't fix it. None of these things changes the firmware.
I am pretty appalled that apple would release a firmware upgrade with such an obvious problem for 4S users. Did they not test it first? Now i am finding multiple texts from people asking me things hours after they messaged me because the sounds don't work. Not impressed.

Is it possible to combine two functions on one button?

(i.e. go back one clip + play around playhead)?

I don't think so but you could add a shift or option or something to the same button and get a second command

Controlling two cameras using LabVIEW

I am a research assistant and my task is to control two cameras using LabVIEW. Also I need to store the pics automatically in a file having the exact time for each pic when taken. I am still new to this kind of work but I am trying my best to learn. I am using some icon for saving pictures but they were stored as RSC format. You can take a look at what I've done so far. I really appreciate if someone can help me with that. Thank you

How do i control my object effects when i use a button?

I want to use a button so when I click on it a square rises up from the bottom of my slide. What I'm finding is by the time I click the button to make the square visible its effect has already loaded with the slide so you don't get to see the squares effect working, how do i pause the effect of the square until I have pressed the button? Should I just make the button jump to a duplicate slide so the effect hasn't loaded if so this will be a pain when I have several buttons on the slide that I want to make objects move when i click them?

Nothing to do with button becoming inactive, really, but with the way the Effects are scripted. Will try to answer your question about the buttons however.
I'll try to explain the functionality of a button. A button typically has a pausing point that is visible on the timeline, right? The portion before the pausing point is the 'active' portion, which will mean that the user can click on the button and this will have results. When you click on a button, the action attached as Success action is triggered, in this example the Text Caption is set to visible. But at the same time the playhead is released and moves beyond the pausing point into the Inactive portion, which means that it cannot be clicked again.
Two possible solutions:
use a rollover caption instead of your click/text captions work flow.
Create a small advanced action BtShow1 and BtShow2 for each of the buttons, again I have screenshots ready but they are not accepted, bummer.... Will try to write the statements:
Show Text_1      for the first button, shows the correct Caption
Hide Text_2       hides the other caption that could have been shown by the other button
Assign rdcmndGotoFrame with rdinfoCurrentFrame            this expression puts back the playhead directly before the pausing point so that button remains active
You can duplicate this action to create Btn2, and you only have to reverse the ID's of the Text Captions
When you attach those actions to the buttons, you can click as many times as you want. You tell that you have searched the forums? Bit strange because I have been explaining this so many times, and blogged about this kind of micro-navigation (frame by frame):

You just call both functions sequentially, it's that simple. Although using javascript to work with a database, that seems a bit tricky.

One hardware fader to control two faders in Mainstage via select button

Hi,
I try to use one hardware fader von a VMK161 plus controller keyboard to control two faders in Mainstage independently. I want to use a "Select button" where I can route the hardware MIDI fader signal to either 1st or 2nd fader in Mainstage.
Any idea how to do this?

Unless there is a quick way of re-configuring your hardware fader to send 2 different MIDI messages, I think you are out of luck. I am pretty sure that there is no way to "switch" which Screen Control is active within MS.

You want to use a combination of three features, a button on the panel,
code to notice value changes using either polling in a state machine of
some sort or an event structure, and a VI Server property node to set
the Visible property of the VI being opened and closed.
The button exists on the controlling panel. The code to notice value
changes is probably on the controlling panel's diagram, and this diagram
sets the Visible property node of a VI class property node to FALSE or
TRUE to show or
hide the panel. To get the VI reference to wire to the
property node, you probably want to use the Open VI Reference node with
the VI name.

Use one fpga vi to control two targets

Hi,
I have two fpga because I need more than 8 analogue output and analogue input. I wonder if I can use one fpga vi to control two targets (the two FPGA boards I use are PCI-7833R) so that the outputs can be synchronized. I think if it's possible it'll be easier to implement the synchronization between while loops,etc. If it's not possible, how can I interface between between fpga.vi and make the synchronization possible and make two vi's talk to each other? I have successfully ran the same code on two (2) different FPGA boards. The difference being that the host will use different Aliases to control the FPGA boards,
Both FPGA Boards MUST be the same type ( I used PXI-7811s).
My program consisted of 6 individual communication portals and there was NO synchronization between boards

I can disable one of my MacBook's two processors using the CPUPalette application. How can I do it under control of a script?
I want to do this because the MacBook is overheating. I will soon get it repaired, but in the meantime, disabling CPU 2 is effective at preventing overheating. Sadly CPUPalette is not scriptable, and it won't remember its setting after the computer is restarted.
Would it be worth learning about the relevant Darwin API (supposing there is one) and writing a small command-line program for the job? I am an experienced developer of software using Standard C.

Invoke a planning function in BI-IP using a button to copy filtered data

Hi All,
I am using a planning function type copy to create a new version of data in the infocube.
In Web Application Designer, I created a button that invoke my planning function using a command type EXEC_PLANNING_FUNCTION. So, I would like to copy the records displayed in my analysis item (that are filtered by some drop down items), but what is happening is that all records in infocube are copied instead of copying the data that is filtered by the drop down items.
Can you help me with any suggestion?

You can create the filter which contain the characteristic which you use when created dropdown boxes.
You can add chararcteristics values in the filter, these values you will see in the dropdown box.
You can use the dropdown boxes to restrict the filter.
You can place the dropdown box (boxes) on your BEx workbook, and connect (with macro I think) to the SAP.
If you choose a value in the dropdown box and run the sequence, the sequence's filter will be restricted that value which you choosed.

What is the purpose and usage of control plans in cProjects? Is this useful in an environment where QM is not implemented? Appreciate if somebody could provide an example of how this functionality will be useful from a project management standpoint. I am on cProjects 4.5.

the control plan functionality in cProjects is deprecated, see SAP Note 1114207:
Using the control plans is not recommended because with new
developments in SAP PLM Quality Management (QM). cProjects
remains the preferred project management solution, but all QM
aspects that are not directly related to project management
should be managed in SAP ERP.
