Controlling the scaling of place movies

I'm using Acrobat 8 Pro on Windows XP to place some Flash generated SWF files into an interactive PDF. Evidently from complete lack of responses to other question I am the only person to have ever attempted such a thing?
Anyways, I'm hoping somebody has some experience and can shed some light.
I use the Move Tool to draw a marquee (which is very choppy and never is drawn where I actually draw it) and then select the SWF file to place. No matter where or what size I draw the marquee the swf movie comes in at some size in some place else on the page.
I can't see any rhyme or reason to why it would be one way or the other.
The other day they all came in at different sizes from each other, but they were all smaller than I thought they should be. In some cases much smaller.
Now today they mostly seem to be the size I thought they would be, except one of them seems to be larger than the others.
In Flash they are all 816 pixels wide.
I can't find any control, menu item, or property in Acrobat that will allow me to size them all to 100%. Is there such a thing?

I would suggest using a dynamic query thatâs referencing a page item to limit the result set so that the correct records are shown when the user branches to the report page. Manually modifying the pagination URL is not supported. The URL contains the internal region ID, and is setting some internal pagination variables. The internal workings of report pagination could change in future versions of HTML DB, so manually manipulating those values could cause your report to break duing a future upgrade.

Require help controlling the time line of movie with AS 2.0

I am trying to control a movie clip via action script through a button.
My Flash File has a master movie clip "masterMC" that contains all of
the movie clips for the flash movie. It is essentially a calendar that
when the user clicks on a date a small box pops up with the event(s)
scheduled for that day.
Inside "masterMC" there is a movie clip "calendar" and a movie clip
"events" both with similar instance names. Inside the "calendar" movie
clip are calendar graphics of different months (oddly enough) where the
dates on which an event falls is a button symbol. I have a layer in the
"masterMC" that holds the action script for the buttons. I am trying
to, when a button I pressed, trigger a specific frame to play in the
"events" movie clip that brings up the box with the events. One of my
button's code looks like:
Oct18_btn.onRelease = function (){
eventsMC.gotoAndPlay("oct18");
I have verified all instance names, frame names, letter case etc... And
cannot figure out why when I test the movie nothing happens when I click
the button. Is there a problem in the code or could it be something
else? Thank you.

I apologize for harping on about this, I have been away for a couple weeks and just saw this. I think this is the case. The "eventsMC" and "calMC" are in the "masterMC" however the button is inside of another movie clip called "octMC" within the "calMC" therefore I cannot seem to manipulate the action script correctly to achieve the result I want. I have tried everything that has been posted as a possible solution and have gotten nowwhere. I tried putting the script directly on the button as:
on(release){
eventsMC.gotoAndPlay ("oct11");
and all varients using "_root." etc... and have gotten nothing. I attached the .fla file if anyone is willing to take a look and help me; the only button I have been working is the one for OCT 11. I simply want to repeat the same process each time an event falls within a day of the month. Thank you.

Controlling the size of a form?

Hi,
Is it possible to design a form a little bigger than an A4 form, but to print just an A4 form? (I would like to put some buttons in a form bigger than A4 so the users could see them in acrobat, however, I don´t want that buttons to print. Using the property to don´t print is not possible because if I place the buttons in a A4 form, they will be over some text).

In acrobat chose "none" in page scaling property (or print with a print button inside the form and control the scaling property form there).

ps. what I want to do is to bind keyboard to mouse, so that I can use keyboard to control the mouse, but I want to try some algorithms of controlling.

I'm not aware of mousekeys being configurable, but switch to it:
alt-shift numlock
then try the number pad.
EDIT: Or were you looking for something an easy binding to xlib as in swarp?

Controlling the size of a calendar

Can someone tell me how I can control the displayed size of an APEX calendar region? I'd like to make the calendar bigger than the default size but I can't seem to find a way to do it.

With AS3 it seems that we shouldn't get as hung up on names
as we have been in the past. From my brief experiments, I don't
think it is that the loader is dynamically creating a movie, but
that the timeline of the external clip is an instance of MovieClip.
And it is "time-line" placed by definition. When I trace the
this.name from my external movie it traces "root1" by itself, but
when loaded into something else it gets that "instance" name.
You can name your loader and just access its content property
(cast as a MovieClip).

Control the movement of the KuKa youbot platform.

I am going to do a project about KuKa Robot arm. The arm is mounted in a movement platform. Firstly, i have to use a mobile device to let the platform move to the fixed place then the arm will take the object by using the information from the camera : webcam, kinect...Now i have the problem about the first step. My job is using some mobile control (mobile phone, tablet..) that has dashboard software which can be download from android or IOS store (like in a racing mobile game). The device will be connected to the robot through wireless certainly and there will be a CompactRIO system to do that.
Can anyone help me to explain or to introduce some dashboard software to let the platform move?

What you describe sounds almost exacly like an NIWeek 2012 keynote demo where an iPad was used to control both simulated and real versions of a Kuka youBot:

I don't believe the code for this demo is publicly available, but it is very similar to this example of controlling a Starter Kit robot using the Touch OSC app. Note that the LabVIEW Robotics 2013 module includes an API to control the Kuka youBot.

I don't think so, you would need to set that on your browser when you log into your email account.

How do I get all the control buttons in one place in 3.6.16, like they used to be in previous versions? Having the refresh and stop buttons between address and search windows, and the home button to the far right is awful.

In 3.6.16, the buttons are all over the place. In previous versions, the forward, back, refresh, stop and home buttons were all together. In this version, the refresh and stop buttons are between the address and search windows, and the home button to the far right.
I would love to have them all together as they used to be - much more user friendly that way. I have tried installing alternate themes, but the coding of this version over-rides the themes.

Firefox 4.0 has a combined Reload and Stop and Go button that appears at the right end of the location bar.
To restore the Firefox 3 appearance you can use these steps:
* Open the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window to move the Stop and Reload button out of the location bar.
* Move the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position at the left side of the location bar.

what type of limit switch sensor are you using and how did you wire itß What are your MAX settings regarding the limit switches?

I am using two reed switch for the reverse and forward limit. I wired the signal wire of the reed switch to the limit ports(forward and reverse Limit) and its ground to the digital ground of the UMI-7764.
