Conversion of External Price Value to Internal Dec. notation of MBEW-STPRS

Hi Guru's,
I'm doing the Report for the BOM.
I'm facing one problem in passsing the MBEW-STPRS value,
I'm passing it as character field, even though it is checking for the format for the price.
could you guys suggest me one Function Module which converts the External Price value to Internal Price Format using Internal Decimal notation.

Conversion of External material with Internal using search help

Hi,
We are working on ECC 6.0 for automotive company and have following scenario.
One OE (External/Customer) material number (MARA-BISMT) with more than one internal material number (MARA-MATNR). This has been done because same customer material is sold by delar for different brands, for exmaple BMW, Ford, Opel. Therefore we have different internal materials with respective brands with same external number in material master.
Business requirement is, all correspondence with customer or vendor should be done using external/customer material number.
Whereas all internal business process should use internal SAP material number.
For example as given below
External No. --> Internal No.
BMW-1 --> 1001 (Brand - BMW)
BMW-1 --> 1002 (Brand - Ford)
BMW-1 --> 1003 (Brand - Opel)
Now the requirement is that user will create document, for example PO or SO, with external/customer material number. While
doing that user should get a pop up screen after entering external material number, if external material is attached/corresponds to multilple internal material number. Then user will selects correct internal number from pop up screen and return to document screen but material field should displayed with external material number.
For example in above case, user will enter BMW-1. Pup up screen will have three internal numbers 1001, 1002 and 1003. User selects 1003 but after material conversion material field of the document will displayed as BMW-1.
We are using Customer enhancement - "MGA00003 Material Master (Industry and Retail): Number Display" for input/ouput conversion.
Also we have created Elementary Search Help - SEARCH_OE_NUMBER with Hot Key "Q". This search help is included into
collective search help "MAT1_A" so that user can able to see multiple internal material number by entring customer material number.
We are able to convert external material number with internal material number and put the external material while creating PO. But when we add another item in PO, search help is getting called again and again for first line item even after conversion of matrial has been taken place.
How we can avoid this multiple calling of serach help?
Is there any better way to achieve this requirement?

Creating fieldcatalogs manually is one of the major error sources in ALV programming.
There is hardly any reason why NOT to use the standard-fm LVC_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE in order to create a proper fieldcatalog.
If you need some modification of the standard fieldcatalog (e.g. renaming of columns, etc.) just do your post-processing after calling the fm.

External price not being read in for Item in GN_INVOICE_CREATE and RVAFSS00

Hi,
We are trying to create invoices using the RVAFSS00 program which calls the function GN_INVOICE_CREATE. The billing document is being created. However, the item price does not bring in the price that we have supplied in the XKOMFKKO-KBETR (Condition amount) field. In KSCHL XKOMFKKO-KSCHL (Condition type) field we are passing in ZROO which is basically a copy of the pricing condition PR00.
For ZR00, the condition class is Prices and the calculation type is Quantity.
We want the item price in the billing document to be the price we supply in XKOMFKKO-KBETR to be multiplied by the XKOMFKGN-KWMENG. We have left the Rate as blank for ZR00 pricing condition because we want our pricing to override this value. If we do give a value for the ZR00 pricing condition, then our billing document Net value will multiply the amount by the ZR00 pricing - which we do not want. We want it to use the XKOMFKKO-KBETR price.
If you have used this program or function to pass in external prices, your help would be really appreciated. We have looked through a lot of areas in the IMG for Pricing, Billing, Maintain Copying control of Billing documents.

Did not find the documentation for the fm any where, i think best place to look for is OSS.
Parameter: ID_NO_DIALOG is for suppressing some shipping related screen and ID_NO_ENQUEUE is for locking sales order or delivery doc.
By using where used list of the function module, some times it's possible to find out the use of other parameters.

PO Price Value not coming in report

Dear Gurus,
I have problem that when i run report mb51 for a plant and movt. type 101.In purchase order no of line items there.from all line items some of line items not showing po. price value they are showing 0 amt. but this amount exist in GRN doc or Posting Doc. What is the problem that standard report not showing amt for particular line item .Pl help to solve this problem.

Check once PO item value has been decreased (once GR and IV has been completed on PO you can alter the PO value which will have no effect) and also check deletion indicator/ blocking has been set for PO item.

When you declare your internal table , make an addtion occurs 0
eg . data : begin of iznew occurs 0 ,
                fields ...
   add the field here ed1.
           end of iznew.
now when you are calculating the value of ed1,
you can pass the corresponding value of ed1 and modify table iznew.
eg
loop at iznew.
iznew-ed1 = ed1.
modify iznew.
endloop.

I'm trying to search a value in internal table by using the FIND TABLE syntax but there's an error message saying In CHAR MODE a character-like, or in BYTE MODE a byte-like field is expected as the row type for the table "ITABLE". The internal table already has character-like field.
Here's the code:

Hi Kathy,
I dont think you can use the given syntax in unicode envoirnment.
As i understand, you are trying to find a value in your internal table. Why dont you make use of LOOP or READ statements. That would be a better option.

If I have understood your requirement correctly, you need to update an internal table with latest 'value_new' from cdpos table where 'fname' = 'fieldname' .
Hope the below logic will help you:
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <wa_intab> LIKE LINE OF lt_intab. "the internal table you want to change
LOOP AT lt_intab ASSIGNING <wa_intab> .
   READ TABLE lt_cdpos INTO wa_cdpos           "lt_cdpos contains latest data selected from CDPOS
    WITH KEY fname = <wa_intab>-fieldname.
   IF sy-subrc = 0.
     <wa_intab>-value = wa_cdpos-value_new.
   ELSE.
     "//logic if the name is not there in CDPOS
   ENDIF.
   CLEAR wa_cdpos.
ENDLOOP.
If you wish to improve performance, I suggest using
1. "transporting value_new" addition in READ TABLE,
2. select only the data which you require from CDPOS,
3. create the internal tables with only fields which you require,
4. when you are using SELECT,LOOP AT statements, limit records by using WHERE condition

Have been trying every way i know and found on internet to install os x yosemite on my macbook pro 2.4GHz the final method i tried is to install via external hd since my new hdd don't have recovery on it i boot in successfully with the external hdd but my internal hdd is not showing up so i can not install on it. pleas help.

First sort the internal table. and read the 3 record by index.
if duplicate exists use delete adjacent duplicates and read the 3 record.
