Conversion of flat file to word document

Hello,
I have a reqt where in I have data available in the flat file on the presentation server .
I want to extract some information based on some logic from the flat file and move it to the word document.
In case anyone has an idea how to go about it, please let me know.

The quality of a conversion really depends on the quality of the original PDF file. Please see Will Adobe ExportPDF convert both text and form... | Adobe Community. Do you know what or how the PDF file was created?
You may have better luck by disabling OCR as described in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (O... | Adobe Community. (Note, however, that is option isn't optimal if the PDF was created from a scanned document; you'd want OCR enabled to convert the image text in the PDF to editable text).

the document you mention is just a mapping which you need to add to your scenario
and it will work

if you have PI 7.1 and EhP1 then there is a java adapter module that you can add to the file adapter
and it will do the transformation automatically

The application Acrobat provides no language translation capability.
If you localize the language for OS, MS Office applications, Acrobat, etc to the desired language try again.
Alternative: transfer a copy of content into a web based translation service (Bing or Google provides a free service).
Transfer the output into a word processing program that is localized to the appropriate language.
Do cleanup.

I downloaded open office to my mac to try and save money. It worked well for a while. Now I get this pop-up message that asks me to "Reopen" and when I select the option, nothing happens. Attaching a flat file to the Document Number

Hi,
   I want to attach a flat file to the Document Number generated .
Please follow the steps :
1) Goto transaction FB03.
2) Enter into it by giving a document number.
3) At the Document overview screen you will find the 'Services for Object' button(Left side upper part of the screen)
4) When you click it you will find Create-> Create attachment will be there where you can browse and upload a flat file that tags tagged to the Document number.
     Is there any FM to do this activity.

     Tables:
          Files-directory = 'C:\'
          files-filename = 'POSTING.TXT'.
After that I have committed it .
The file doesn't get attached . I went into the FB02 and entered the accounting number(100000001) and checked but it has not got attached .
Please help me .

I just signed up with Adobe in order to convert a PDF file into a word document and it continues to fail. Any suggestions.

If you have adobe X, simply go to "File" -> "Save-As" and Microsoft Word is an option. Also, there is a download (paid) called Able2Extract that will allow you to convert pdfs to word, excel, etc. but the formatting is often lost. If you get the premium package, you can even convert scanned documents. I've used Adobe X to do the conversion, and it retains headers, footers and all formatting.
And i personally share you with a article about how to converting PDF files to Word(.doc), you just need to follow the easy guide.
