Convert Code from MSSSQL7 to Oracle8

Hi
Is there any easy way or a tool to convert the sqlcode that's in Sqlserver7 to Oracle8 ??
Thanks

Zhanbolat,
In theory, conversion of this code is not difficult, especially because it is clear what the logic is designed to do. The issue is that you will not have an expected result once only this code is converted in isolation. This puppy uses some other objects that are written in AS2 including entities in the FLA library.
In short, it looks like this application needs a total overhaul at every level in order for it to properly function as an AS3 program.
With that said, although this is, again, not a difficult task, it is unlikely to find someone to do it for free. You may have a better luck if you start conversion yourself and post focused questions as you go.

    Zhanbolat,
    In theory, conversion of this code is not difficult, especially because it is clear what the logic is designed to do.

  • Converting code from AS 2.0 to 3.0

    Hey guys,
    I'm doing my dissertation, using Flash to build a website.  I found this amazingly helpful book that has given me step by step instructions on what to do.  It advised me to open an AS 3.0 file to do all my developing in & that has worked fine up until now!!!  I found a really great radiating circle design to use but the code is only suitable for AS 2.0.
    Does anyone know if I can convert my website to AS 2.0 or what code I should use for AS 3.0 to make the animation compatible with the rest of website???!!!!
    AS 2.0 code used:
    keyframe 1:
    i = 0;
    setProperty("circle", _visible, false);
    keyframe 2:
    duplicateMovieClip("circle", "circle" + i, i);
    removeMovieClip("circle" + (i-15));
    if (i > 14) {
        i = 0;
    i++;
    keyframe 3:gotoAndPlay(_currentframe - 1);

    I would highly recommend against attempting to downgrade your code to AS2 from AS3.  There is a lot of functionality in AS3 that does not exist in AS2.
    That said, it may be a bit of a task to upgrade the AS2 to AS3, but should definitely be feasible.
    Do a quick search for "AS2 to AS3 converter" - run the code through what you find.  Try to integrate it into your AS3 project, and, if it doesn't work, post the code and any errors up here.

  • Converting code from as2 to as3 and getting errors

    I am trying to get a counter that I found in as2 to work in as3 but I am getting errors when I publish.
    Here is my code:
    stop();
    var currSlide;
    addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, onEnterFrame);
    function onEnterFrame(evt:Event):void
    currSlide = root.rdinfoCurrentSlide +1;
    this.curSlide_txt.text = currSlide;
    this.totSlide_txt.text = root.rdinfoSlideCount;
    any suggestions?

    no code should be attached to objects.
    most of that looks like it's useless or worse than useless.   in particular, everything in the enterframe loop looks like it serves no purpose and repeatedly does useless things.  if it is doing something useful, it doesn't need to be done in a loop.
    and setting the rgb of a color instance does nothing useful.
    the only thing useful is setting brushColor when that brush movieclip is clicked.
    so, if you have a movieclip with class = "brush" in your library, you can use:
    var brushColor:uint;
    var blackBrush:brush=new brush();
    blackBrush.col = 0x000000;
    addChild(blackBrush);
    blackBrush.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,clickF);
    function clickF(e:MouseEvent):void{
    brushColor = MovieClip(e.currentTarget).col

  • Changing a G/L account code from B/S item to P/L item

    Hi Experts,
    I created a G/L account code as a Profit & Loss item. After that some document transactions were posted in that G/L Account code.
    Later, I realized that that G/L account should have been a Balance Sheet item. So, when in FS00, I tried to change the radio button from P/L item to B/S item for the above stated G/L account code, it is not allowing because there are transactions / records in that G/L account code.
    What should I do to convert that G/L account code from P/L item to B/S item. Please guide.
    I will definitely award points to everybody who answers.
    Thanks & Regards
    Rajeev Sharma

    Hi Rajeev,
    It is a big thing to change a GL account from BS to P&L.
    First tip is, if you can avoid it please do, by this I mean, block the account and create a new GL account.
    Please review your account groups, you normally group similar accounts in the same number ranges and I would recommend that a single account group is only BS or P&L.
    The fact you have posted items to the GL account is the biggest problem.
    You need to have the account with a zero balance, this will mean either reversing the documents you posted or creating a journal to zero the account and then clear if possible all of the line items.
    You also need to consider the impact it has made on the documents you have created, especially if a period is closed.
    I think it is possible to change if there are no open items, but I would contact SAP via OSS to get the answer.
    Please publish the answer back on the forum.

  • Error while converting schema from oracle to SQL server

    Hello,
    I am getting following error while converting schema from oracle to SQL server using SSMA.
    I get Errors 1-3 while migrating procedures and error 4 while migrating a table.
    1- O2SS0050: Conversion of identifier 'SYSDATE' is not supported.
    2- O2SS0050: Conversion of identifier 'to_date(VARCHAR2, CHAR)' is not supported.
    3- O2SS0050: Conversion of identifier 'regexp_replace(VARCHAR2, CHAR)' is not supported.
    4- O2SS0486: <Primary key name> constraint is disabled in Oracle and cannot be converted because SQL Server does not support disabling of primary or unique constraint.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks.

    The exact statement in oracle side which causing this error (O2SS0050:
    Conversion of identifier 'to_date(VARCHAR2, CHAR)' is not supported.) is below:
    dStartDate:= to_date(sStartDate,'MON-YYYY');
    Statement causing error O2SS0050:
    Conversion of identifier 'regexp_replace(VARCHAR2, CHAR)' is not supported is below.
    nCount2:= length(regexp_replace(sDataRow,'[^,]'));
    So there is no statement which is using to_date(VARCHAR2,
    CHAR) and regexp_replace(VARCHAR2, CHAR) in as such. 'MON-YYYY'  and '[^,]'
    are CHAR values hence SSMA is unable to convert it from varchar2 to char.
    Regarding SYSDATE issue, you mean to put below code in target(SQL) side in SSMA ?
    dDate date := sysdate;
    Thanks.

  • How i can generat VHDL or Verilog code from labview code

    how i can generat VHDL or Verilog code from labview code ( i have a labview code and i want to convert it to VHDL or Verilog code how i can do that )

    Mouath,
    There is no feature in LabVIEW to export your VIs as VHDL files. You are able to include your own HDL in your LabVIEW VI (using the HDL node). I encourage you to provide your feedback related to this issue at ni.com/contact. The product suggestion submitted are taken seriously and reviewed by National Instruments.

  • Converting byte from dec to hex

    Hi All,
    I'm having a problem converting byte from decimal to hex - i need the following result:
    if entered 127 (dec), the output should be 7f (hex).
    The following method fails, of course because of NumberFormatException.
        private byte toHexByte(byte signedByte)
            int unsignedByte = signedByte;
            unsignedByte &= 0xff;
            String hexString = Integer.toHexString(unsignedByte);
            BigInteger bigInteger = new BigInteger(hexString);
            //byte hexByte = Byte.parseByte(hexString);
            return bigInteger.byteValue();
        }

    get numberformatexception because a lot of hex digits cannot be transformed into int just like that (ie f is not a digit in decimal) heres some code that i used for a pdp11 assembler IDE... but this is for 16-bit 2s complement in binary/octal/decimal/hex , might be useful for reference as example though
        public static String getBase(short i, int base){
            String res = (i>=0)? Integer.toString((int)i,base)
                    : Integer.toString((int)65536+i,base) + " ("+Integer.toString((int)i,base)+")";
           StringBuffer pad= new StringBuffer();
            for(int x = 0; x < 16 - res.length() ; x++){
                pad.append("0");
            res = pad.toString() + res;
            return res;
        }

  • Convert VIs from 7.0 to 6.0?

    I suspect the response to this post will a big resounding NO from everyone, but I'm hoping I'm wrong:
    I write vi's for a University, and some students (annoying) still use LV 6.0i. I have LV versions 6.0i, 7.0, 7.1 and 8.0 on my machine. I code in 7.1 usually, and have to convert the vi's to past versions for the students. Here's my problem: although I can easily convert 7.1 back to 7.0, then load LV 7.0 to convert it from 7.0 to 6.1, I have not got LV 6.1 so I cannot load it up to then convert it to 6.0i. I notice you can only go back one version in each release so without LV 6.1 I'm stuck. Is there an easier way to create a LV 6.0i compatible vi from LV 7.1?
    Thanks everyone,
    Riggy

    No, not really.
    If the VIs are not too complex, you can always ask here and somebody might be able to do the down-conversion for you.
    (If the VIs are very simple, just redo them from scratch. )

  • ALE, use bd79 (converting data from sender to receiver to blank out fields)

    Hi, I am trying to blank four fields out in our FI IDOC for a certain business reason.  These fields must be blank (it is the FIDCC1 message type).   I am trying to use transaction bd79 (converting data from sender to receiver) maintain rules.  Is there a way to blank out these fields using a conversion rule?  I can change data fine but I cannot find a way to blank or null a field out.  Thanks in advance.

    You should have a look at the inbound function module (linked to your inbound process code). sometimes there are checks that if fields are initial that nothing will be changed.
