Convert date 17-sep-2007 to 2007-09-17 format

Is it possible to convert date say 17-sep-2007 to YYYY-MM-DD format?
if so is there any Function module to implement this?

REPORT ZTEST.
DATA : V_DATE LIKE SY-DATUM,
V_DATE1(10).
V_DATE = '01012007'.
CONCATENATE V_DATE4(4) V_DATE2(2) V_DATE+0(2) INTO V_DATE1.
WRITE : V_DATE1.

Exporting data to Excel 2007 from SAP report

Dear all,
Earlier we used to have Excel 2003 and while downloading data from MC.9 Report - Export - Transfer to XXL, we could able to download the data.
Now we have installed Excel 2007 and trying to download the data from MC.9 report, its opening excel, but no data is being copied,,, blank excel sheet,,,, further we could not able to download the data.
Is there any setting need to be done in SAP reporting or excel 2007 to download the data to Excel 2007.

Pl. go through the following step.
1. Execute MC.9
2. Select (click on) key figure column
3. Select Time series Button (CtrlShiftF4)
Now seperate window will come.
4. Select the button Save to PC file (shift+F8)
By this procedure you can download to excel

Hi BW experts,
I getting following error in report :
No exchange rate from CAD to USD and date 28.02.2007 found (currency transl. TRAV/TRAV)
Notification Number BRAIN 380 

I am getting this message for only 4 months i.e March April,May,June but rest of months its fine.
Currency translation is done in query with a variable.
I tried the following solutions:
1.transfer Exchange rates from source systems Via Program :RSIMPCURR
2.I checked in Table TCURR and there exists a exchange rates between CAD to USD.
3.I checked TCODE: RSCUR the variable exists and created properly.
4.I searched through forums but none of them present a clear solution.
SO can somebody help me to solve this error ,its very urgent

So check in OB08 which gives the overview of Currency Exchange Rates for each month.Check what is the exchange rate maintained for the months u r looking into.
Else ask the users what exchange rates they maintained for those months and upload the exchange rates for those months.

Disable automatic insertion of date in Word 2007

Hi
We use Office 2007 Danish and I need to find the setting that disables the automatic correction/insertion of dates in Word 2007. If I want to write
24. february 2011 it automatically corrects it to 24. february 2011-03-17. I have looked everywhere, but can't find the setting that I have to disable?
Can anyone help?

Note that newer versions of Word make it easier to turn off AutoComplete suggestions. In Word 2010 and 2013, you'll find the option at File tab | Options | Advanced.

Hi SAP expert,
I received error message "Transfer date 30.06.2007 is more than one year after the closed fiscal year" - message number AC 187. Used Tcode OAAQ when tried to reverse year end closing for depreciation area. How can i correct this problem? I want to finish for the whole year 2007 depreciation.

If i look at the w3 org i would say :
xp20:format-dateTime('yourfield','[D]-[[MN,*-3]-[Y]')
or just MN will do too.

U.S., Acrobat X: Exporting column PDF data to Excel 2007. Date is m/dd/yy.

All the dates get exported to excel correctly but the format changes from English(1/3/09) to European(3/1/09). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Error converting data type nvarchar to numeric 'witholding tax' (OWHT)

Hi Guys.
After I have upgraded my clients 2007 PL 30 database to 8.81 PL05, and running a repair to fix inconsistincies, I am receiveing some error when opening any sales documents.
It takes place when I open a sales document, or browse previous docs. When browsing previous docs, it onlly happens on some of them.
I also receive a different error when viewing sales orders: Error converting data type nvarchar to numeric (CRD2).
Any ideas how to fix it?
It does not limit me from processing and using the rest of the functionality. All calculations with queries in the docs are still working.

Hi,
if I understood you correctly you want to transform from ddMMyyyy (your format in the external file) to yyyyMMdd (format of ABAP datatype DATS):
Then all you need to do is to use the standard function TransformDate (as already described above).
Enter in the field "Format of source Date": ddMMyyyy
Enter in the field "Target Format": yyyyMMdd
That's it.

Convert data from CRM2007 to CRM70

We are moving from crm 2007 into crm7.0. This is not a upgrade project, we are doing a fresh new implementation of crm70 system with lot of new capability additions. And as part of this effort , one major thing is data conversion from the crm 2007 system to the crm 70 system. The data that we have to move/convert into the new crm70 system are:
a)Interaction Records
b)Service Tickets
C) Org structure, Category modeller, rule modeller , etc
Has any one done data coversion from 2007 to 70 during the upgrade or during the whole new build like we are doing? If so, please let me know how you guys handled it. Any ideas will surely be appreciated.

Your date string is a character format one, can not be accepted as a date. Hence,I would like to request you to change your datatype as DATETIME. As satheesh suggested, you can do the formatting at application side.
But for any case, you want to do it at SQL Server, the below is another option.(assuming the month follows the same format 0 will be prefixed for 1-9 digits)
