Convert HCM ISR online forms to an attachment in Backend - Help Required

Hi Experts,
I am working on a workflow which actually determines few email ids to whom I have to send in the HCM form details as an attachment.
I have been searching the solution for this but without any result so far.
I have found a ISR function module ISR_DOCUMENT_GET which has a export parameter of Xstring and import parameter of GUID. But it gives out an error when executing.
I also found a FM ISR_CALL_FOR_DISPLAY which can give a ISR document link. But this too fails.
Also I found when debugging the webdynpro application HRASR00_PROCESS_EXECUTE that data comes in from Portal only as XML and not as XSTRING.
I am not sure if I am using the right FMs for this solution. Can anyone help me with this issue.

As instructed above, I configured the field GBDAT infotype 0002 to the table V_T588MFPROPC, and it got rid of the error message, but it has not complete resolved the issue, I am reciving the following warning:
Entries in display field "GBDAT" are ignored
Diagnosis
You entered a value in the "GBDAT" field. However, the field is customized as display-only and not for user input.
System Response
The system restores the content of the field as it was before your input.
Procedure
Contact your system administrator.
Procedure for System Administration
User entries in the "GBDAT" field () do not make sense. Correct the settings for the user interface

How to attach file(CV) from pages to online form in safari

When i want to attach a file from pages in any online form the select file button gives only two options 1. Take photo and 2. Choose from existing photos. So how can i attach files other than photos from pages or other apps .

You need to use another web browser. You will have to look for a free one if necessary. icab is a web browser that lets you download & uploads files.

Dear Experts.
I am new with Personnel Change Request(PCR) in the portal Self-Service.
I know that the new technology used for SAP ERP 6.0 is with HCM P&F.
ISR is used for Realease 4.7(EP 5.0/EP 6.0).
My question is:
What requirements need a company for implement the PCR and HCM P&F?
Where I do the configuration for the PCR and HCM P&F in theCustomizing or T.Code?
Anyone know a book about the creation of HCM P&F ?

Form document will automatically be saved after closing the file. As far as cloud message is concerned, it seems your Mobile link setting has been turned on. When you pressed device back button after filling the form, it was saved to your Acrobat.com account. You can access this document by going to Acrobat.com tab present in left pane. Its a cloud storage area where you can upload/save any document.

Regarding attachment handling in HCM process and forms

Hi Experts,
I have developed one process and forms for termination process in which i am using "SFREEATTM" as an attachment.
the process will flow like this.
1) HR Business Partner raise a Termination Form for an employee and submit the form which will route the form to HR Admin with the help of workflow.
2)HR Admin access the form and adds a text file attachment to the form and submits it to the manager.
3)Manager access his inbox and displays the form but HE IS NOT ABLE TO SEE THE ATTACHMENT MEANS ATTACHMENT IS NOT COMING HERE SOMEHOW MISSING .
Could you to please help me why the attachment is not coming to the manager though i already mention in my scenario step as DISPLAYED ONLY as an attachment attributes..

Please check the form scenario configuration, where the steps and attachments are configured. I think for the manager step, the attachment option is not configured.
As a result , the attachments are not visible at this stage.

Is there any way to include all the info on a form as an attachment?

Hi. I would like to find out if there is a way to include the same info that is entered in the fields of a standard html form as a data file attachment? I'm thinking along the lines of an xml file that would usually be sent to the recipient once a pdf form has been filled in and submitted.
By default (in my case anyway) when an online form is submitted by somebody, whatever info was entered in the fields will simply display in the body of the email. That's fine if it's an occasional form that's submitted but if we plan to make this a standard method of submitting data, thus greatly increasing submissions, (as opposed to filling in pdf forms - which don't work for our employees on smartphones) AND I want to gather the data and put it in a sort of a simple database (excel spreadsheets is fine!) then obviously we'll want to make this easy on ourselves and avoid having to manually enter the information received into a spreadshhet every time data is received.
I'm not looking into setting up a full online database (despite the fact that might seem a nice (long-term) solution), as that would be unncessary for this kind of 'minor' exercise at the moment - I'd just like to see if there's a cost free solution to force a submitted html form to also send a data attachment (e.g xml) to the recipient. There is nothing within DW that can do this for you. You also cannot go straight from HTML to an emailed XML file, which is likely why you couldn't find anything online about it.
You will need to find out what server scripting language(s) your hosting company supports (php is a common one).
Once you know that, you'll need to create/purchase/download a script in that language that you attach your html form to in order for it to be converted by your server and sent to your email as an XML file, again php is a very common choice for this.
As Murray suggests, there are a lot of sources online once you know which language you can use.

I'm sorry that the ExportPDF service isn't meeting your expectations. The quality of the conversion is very dependent on the quality of the original PDF. Some applications produce more well-structured PDFs than others.
That said, what happens when you disable OCR as described here: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (OCR) when converting PDF to Word or Excel? Does that produces a better looking Word document?

Use HCM processes and Forms without using the Enterprise Portal

is it possible to leverage existing HR Admin Services (HCM processes and Forms) functionality without using the Enterprise Portal?
1) Create an Adobe form and Interface using SFP
2) Set up ISR and Form Scenario
3) Set up Forms configuration to use existing Backend and generic Services
4) Set up workflow to updated Backend using Services
is it possible to do the above steps and not use the Portal? If Yes, how do we present the forms to the Manager, and provide different buttons that appears on the Portal by default?
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Saurabh,
your assumptions and findings (items can not be started from the backend workflow inbox etc.) are correct: These processes can not be started without the Portal and it is not intended to do this.
The above mentioned backend report are only forseen for implementation and testing purposes and not for productive use.
In addition to the fact, that you already can't execute the work items a lot of other features of the framework (Process Browser etc.) are only available through the Portal.

How to email PDF form as an attachment?

Hi All,
I have developed online interactive form app(dynamic).
When user clicks the submit button after entered the data,
I want to email the PDF form as an attachment to some users.
Could anyone please explain the steps or give me some sample code?

Query on HCM Processes and Forms

I am facing some issues in configuring Hiring Forms in HCM Processes and Forms. I can place them in 2 baskets and describe each of them below. I would appreciate any advise on ways and means to overcome these errors.
Basket #1
I want to use the standard forms SHU1, SHU2 in development environment to understand the HCM P&F functionalities. I copied these form scenarios from client 000 and did all the configurations as outline in IMG activity HRAdministrative Services >> Configuration of Forms and Processes >> Sample Processes for HCM Process and Forms.
When I run a check using HR Administrative Services >> Configuration of Forms and Processes >> Configuration of Forms >> Check Consistency of Form Scenarios and select Form name, I get errors along following lines:
u2022     Error Message Sample#1 Form scen SHU1 vers. 00000 serv. SAP_PA: Only one deflt value allowed for field I0009_ZLSCH
u2022     Error Message Sample#2 Form scen. SHU1 vers. 00000 service SAP_PA: Field I0007_ARBST default value is not created
u2022     Error Message Sample#3 ISR scenario SHU1 version 00000: Field I0001_BUKRS is missing
u2022     Error Message Sample#4 Form scen. SHU1 vers. 00000: Field I0007_ARBST service for default values not required
However, at the bottom of the log I see this message in Green: Form scenario SHU1 version 00000: Form scenario is consistent
I tried to make the changes as suggested in the Long Text for each of these messages. Probably due to the fact that I am using standard delivered forms, I get this message u201CDo not make any changes (SAP entry)u201D and I am unable to save the changes.

In this basket I have Org_Change form and have managed to go the whole nine yards and complete the configuration in ECC. The consistency checks for process and forms are in green. However, I am unable to start the process through Portal. I get this message u201Cno data availableu201D when I try to select a process.
Among the 5 roles delivered in SAP as initiators for processors u2013I am interested in 3 of them HRASARA (for HR Administrator). I have configured HRASRA and HRASRB as initiators for Org_Change. However, I am not able to figure out how to link these roles to portal roles such as SAP_ASR_ADMINISTRATOR, SAP_ASR_MANAGER etc.
I would appreciate any advise on ways and means to overcome these errors.

Hi Anna,
Have you created a form through the HCM Processes and Forms scenario? If you have, you can send a form from one person to another with form information filled in by the form initiator, but this has to be configured using workflow, and it would only appear in their Workflow Inbox.

Retrieving attachments in hcm processes and forms

Hi Experts,
We have implemented HCM processes and forms and in one of the custom processes which we have created. We have an attachment option where the user attaches the document and the document is reviewed by the approver.
But how does the administrator later on retrieve the attachments for a specific personal number.
Is there any way to search for attachments based on Personal Number?.
If not - what is the ideal solution to retrieve the attachments .

Adobe form code initialization with HCM Processes and Forms?

Hi,
We're trying to dynamically determine some language-dependent text label values in the form interface code initialization routine before displaying an interactive PDF form. All works fine when using the transaction SFP test tool, label values are dynamically determined using the code on the PDF printout.
However in our case, the interactive form is embedded in a HCM P&F scenario and when launching the process form WDA application from the UWL, it looks like the same code initialization code is executed (when debugging it) but the values are not updated on the PDF when displaying.
Any ideas how to go forward? Should we instead be using an ISR BAdI or such to do the same thing? We do not want to store all the label fields in the HCM P&F form scenario, because they are not supposed to be stored in HCM, we just need to dynamically display some text labels on the PDF form.
We're on SAP ERP 6.0 EhP4, NW 7.01.

thanks for your answer. Just to give you some background on the requirement, we are dealing with the public sector and they are let's say quite strict about form appearances
To elaborate more, we have a need to build a single work contract printout PDF form for all the company codes (embedded into a second form scenario in our HCM P&F hiring process), because 90% of the layout and of all the labels in the work contract are common to all ccodes. Unfortunately for us, there are however some static texts / text labels with their translations whose customer requirements vary between the company codes. In addition, the customer is not ready to harmonize these texts mostly because of legal reasons. An example of this is as follows:
- ccode 1 label: work contract (+ translations to several languages)
- ccode 2 label: work contract approved by local union (+ translations to several languages)
- ccode 3 label: work contract signed and approved by local union and company (+ translations to several languages)
As silly as the requirement may seem, they are not ready to harmonize these labels into a single label because of these reasons (we have tried this many times without much success and told them about the technical difficulties to come). So we need to come up with a working solution
What we have gone forward with so far is a Z-table containing all the dynamic texts and their translations. We are now just looking for a way how to dynamically populate PDF form label values upon runtime. In normal PDF print form cases (= without HCM P&F involved), the code initialization routine works just fine. We bind the label values to the form interface elements and then upon runtime we populate the interface elements in the routine based on the incoming company code value.
But this is where we are stuck now. It seems HCM P&F somehow prevents or overwrites the changes done in the PDF forms code initialization routine when launching the PDF form from UWL and the HCM P&F process form WDA app and I'm looking for ways to make it happen.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I have followed the following steps for the creation of field with search help.
1.I have created a Z table having one field LAND1 to which I have attached the search help H_T005_LAND.
2.In se80,I have created a webdynpro component.
3.In the context tab of Main View,I have created a Node Adobe .
In adobe ,I have created another node of type Z table in which it has a field LAND1.
When I click display on Land1,it shows
Input help mode : automatic
Determined Input Help : H_T005_LAND automatically.
4.I have created an attribute to context :PDF_source of type xstring.
5.In layout tab,in properties I have binded the data source to context binding i.e.adobe and pdfsource binded to pdf source of context,have checked the enabled property.
6.I have created a Z form with interface of type xml schema based.
7.In layout,in object library from webdynpronative tab i have dragged and dropped value help drop down list.
8.In the object pallete ,in binding tab of value help drop down list ,I have binded the land1field without updating any properties.
9.In utilities ,i have inserted webdynpro script.
10.I have saved and activated the form,interface and webdyn component.
11.Then I have created webdyn application and test.
12.In the output ,I m gtn the field with dropdown .I am able to insert the value but F4 is not working.
