Converting .bin (Binary) File to .bmp ( BMP ) File

Hi All,
I have a requirement to convert .bin file to .bmp file. The binary file is generated by the video frames and now i want to convert this binary file into the .bmp file. Can anybody help me how to do this and if possible then pls write the sample code.
-Thanks

How do you meen generated by the video frames?
Do you mean that the .bin file is created by an application in the event of a screen shot fo example?
If so then the big question is in what format did this application save the image data
Please elaborate.
Don't bank on the idea of us giving you code,
we will if possible point you into the right direction and help where required but thats about as far as we prefer to go.

  • How can i convert .gif/.bmp/.jpeg file to labview code(vi)?

    Hi,
    I am having a .gif file which consists of vi code. I want to convert that .gif file into vi & complile it. I am using LV 6.1 & 7 express. Is is possible?
    Reverse is surely possible like we can convert the vi diagram into .gif/.bmp file? But above i dont know?
    Your help will really appreciated.
    Best Regards,
    Nirmal

    If I understand your desire, it's to be able to convert a graphical image (bit map or screen photo, for example) into a functional block of LabView code, with all of the wire work done, etc. This is a task approximately equivalent to performing optical character recognition.
    In the case of a non-system subvi, unless that subvi is loaded, so that it's graphical representation can be recognized by comparing the bit-map image for the subvi on the photo with the available vi's.
    Another difficult problem to solve is when the bit-map has been scaled up or down, such that there's a pixel count mismatch between the VI iconic bitmap and the photographic bitmap you wish to import into your code diagram.
    And if you try to do recognition on objects that have h
    ad their RGB color representations changed, as can happen when JPG compression or other compression forms are used that reduce to total number of colors saved, that challenges the object recognition further.
    Also, what you're interested in having is only of value to Labview programmers, so there's not a very large market for such a tool to be sold to - unlike bitmaps of scanned text to ASCII or wordprocessor applications - traditional OCR software.
    All this ins't to say it can't be done, but that it's difficult, and for the person or company that undertakes it, the sales potential is limited.

  • How can i convert a hexidecimal image file to a bmp file

    i have an array of hex data, each of the 7707 rows has 80 characters, i want to convert this to a standard windows bmp or jpeg file, any ideas how to do it?

    stewbert;
    Is that only one image or there are several images in that array? If the array is the image, and columns (number of characters) and rows correspond to what you are saying your array contains, it is a big image!
    There are other questions that needs to be answered, like, each character, how many numbers contains (looks like "EF" or like "EF3B5A".) Such sizes give ideas of the format and to where is the color table.
    You can play with the "Draw XXX Pixmap" VIs located in Function palette -> Graphics & Sounds -> Picture Functions and see if one of them renders an image.
    I think the best would be if you can post a sample of your array so somebody here can look at it and try to "decode" it.

  • How to converting a flash clip into a bmp file quickly

    Hi,
    I’d like to get help on converting a flash clip into a
    bmp file. I have an application developed with ActiveX technology.
    There is a flash control embedded in the ActiveX control, which has
    a printing button. The end users can press the printing button to
    print the flash picture as well as other text content.
    I get the flash picture for printing in follow steps:
    1.Create a BitmapData object
    var bmp:BitmapData = new BitmapData(w, h, false);
    2.Obtain the image of current flash
    bmp.draw(mc, mc.transform.matrix, new ColorTransform(), 1,
    new Rectangle(x, y, w, h));
    3.Get pixels of flash image one by one in loop, and save them
    into a PixelCollection
    bmp.getPixel(col, row);
    4.Move the PixelCollection into flash container
    fscommand("print", load_PixelCollection);
    5.Ocx control gets the PixelCollection and converts it into
    BMP format
    But I find it is very slow when action script gets pixels one
    by one. Getting pixels of a middle size flash may spend one minute.
    It is hard for our customer to stand. Does anyone have idea to get
    the flash image quickly?
    Any help is appreciated.

    What about the built-in print methods, wouldn't it be better
    to use those here?
    Getting all pixel values is a time intensive process, because
    of the amount of pixels. It may be a bit faster if you split the
    getPixel() loop over some frames, but I'm not exactly sure how to
    do that (just read it somewhere).
    If the content is fixed, you could create the pixel array in
    the background while the user looks at it. This is quite some
    overhead, but when the user decides to print, the array would
    already be there.
    Finally, not helpful here, but interesting:
    quote:
    BitmapData.getPixels()
    No longer do you have to loop through every pixel in a
    bitmap, one at a time with getPixel to send a bitmap to the server.
    This method returns a ByteArray containing the hexadecimal color
    value of each of the pixels in the specified rectangular region of
    a bitmap. Use this method in conjunction with the new ZLib
    compression method; ByteArray.compress() to compress and send a
    bitmap over the wire to a server so it can be converted into a file
    ready for downloading.
    (from
    http://www.flashguru.co.uk/actionscript-3-new-capabilities/)
    This will be available in AS 3.

  • How can I convert the binary file content to XML message

    Dear friends,
    I poll the binary file from a ftp server but the payload only includes the binary content, no XML structure in the payload, I hope to convert the binary content to a element node within the XML structure, how can I do that? via content conversion?
    Thanks and regards,
    Bean

    Read the binary file stream using java I/O standard functions and convert the read stream to Base64 format. Now map this content to one of the field in target XML structure.
    You need a java mapping for this.
    what is your target system?
    Thanks,
    Gujjeti.
    Hi Gujjeti,
    Thanks a lot for your kind help, my target system is R/3.
    Can I achieve that with a UDF or a simple way?

  • CreatePDF to convert Framemaker binary (.fm) files to PDF

    A web search and the Adobe chat salesman says that CreatePDF can convert Framemaker binary files (.fm) to PDF and send the results back to me.  I'm told that this capability is not documented in the CreatePDF compatibility FAQ, but is provided.  My Framemaker was version 5.5, but is long since died (I'm on my 3rd or 4th Mac since Framemaker support on Macs went away).
    So I subscribed.  But the web interface refuses to upload a .fm file.
    How do a get this feature to work?

    Good day,
    FrameMaker files are not supported for conversion from within the CreatePDF interface.  To convert a FrameMaker file to PDF using CreatePDF, you would need to use the Print to PDF function.  This particular feature is Windows-only and requires that you be able to print from the native application to the virtual printer that communicates with our CreatePDF service.
    The best solution I can think of would be to coordinate with a colleague/friend/etc., who has a Windows computer (unless you're running a Windows VM on your Mac).  Download and install the FrameMaker 10 trial and convert your files to PDF using FrameMaker's export function.
    I don't think that CreatePDF is the solution for you in this particular case.
    Please let me know if you have any questions.
    Kind regards,
    David

  • Raw files converted to binary docs (exec).  Any ideas on how to get them back to raw?

    Ok. Short and sweet first post here.  Thanks in advance for any assistance.
    I've done this same process on jpegs many times without issue.  This time I forgot where I was in my workflow and tried a batch rename on my raw files.
    I selected all raw files in a folder, went to tools -->  batch rename and entered my file naming sequence as I wanted it to read.  Hit enter and watched the file names change correctly BUT the actual files were converted to "binary documents" and I can't figure out how to get them back to raw.  My thumbs are gone.  If I click on one of the files, the exec file tries to load in terminal.
    What happened to my raw files?  There are 255 images here from a wedding that I would rather not edit all over again.  Please help!
    Mac OSX 10.5.7
    Bridge CS3 2.1.1.9

    Ok.  The files don't read any particular extension as seen in my previous attachment.  F2 brightens my monitor.  It is not associated with any other shortcut.  Right click --> rename (not batch) brings the thumbnail back but without the edits.  All I did in the beginning was batch rename a folder full of raw images plus 3 psd files. Nothing else.  You can see that "new extension" is selected in the top field of the batch rename window.  is this the mistake and how can I recover my edits if it is.
    There are 253 edited images in this folder.  Manual renaming will take ages.  Editing all of them again is also making me ill.    I was prepping the files for client submission which is due today when this happened.

  • How to convert a .jsp to a .java/.class file for use in peoplesoft

    Hi java/jsp experts,
    I want to convert a .jsp to a .java/.class file. is there a tool available, please let me know if you have any pointers....
    or can i do it manually:
    these are a few lines that the .jsp contains, and i would like to translate this to be in .java/.class format:

    <%@ page import="java.util.StringTokenizer" %>
    <%@ page import="java.util.Map" %>

    sb.append("<input type=\"hidden\" name=\"orderPage_serialNumber\" value=\"");
    sb.append(serialNumber);
    sb.append("\">\n");
    return sb.toString();
    %>
    how can i translate the above import statements and html elements from jsp to java, please let me know.
    Once i have the .java file created from the .jsp, I will compile .java to create the .class file and invoke the .class in peoplecode by using java apis available in peopletools.
    Thanks in advance.

    Is there a way convert a binary .exe file( compiled by
    another compiler) into Java .class/.jar file ? Anyone
    know of a free program that can do this?It's not possible. There are many decompilers and disassemblers for Java but nothing will take you from ANY binary to Java source. It would be the end of computing as we know it and the beginning of a new era -:)

    Can i convert AIFF audio file into an MP3 file please? I will be doing this on an imac 2008 model. thank you for help!

    Since this is the Logic forum and you may be working in Logic, you dont even need iTunes. To convert Aiff to MP3:
    1 - Go to the Bin>Audio Files
    2 - Select the Audio File you want to convert ( and not a region or edit of it)
    3 - Go to Audio File next to the Link icon ( Audio - Edit - View ) and down the menu to Copy/Convert.. gives lots of options

  • How to load binary content of a .class file?

    Hello everyone,
    I want to load the binary content of a .class file in a dynamic approach. In more detail, I want it to work in the following approach. When given the name of a class, I can retrieve the binary content of the .class file. I have written the following sample but it does not work. Can anyone help to find what is wrong with my sample? How to achieve my goal?
    String className = this.getClass().getName();
    InputStream inputStream = this.getClass().getResourceAsStream (className);When executing the above code, the inputStream is always returned as "null".
    Thanks in advance,
    George

    Thanks ruthf104,
    I haven't tested this, but I think you will need to
    transform the class name
    "test.Foo"
    into the resource path
    "/test/Foo.class"
    ie change '.' to '/', append '/' at the beginning
    and ".class" at the end.
    See the following paragraph from the
    Class.getResourceAsStream specification:
    "This method delegates the call to its class loader,
    , after making these changes to the resource name: if
    the resource name starts with "/", it is unchanged;
    otherwise, the package name is prepended to the
    resource name after converting "." to "/". If this
    object was loaded by the bootstrap loader, the call
    is delegated to
    ClassLoader.getSystemResourceAsStream."
    By these rules, the method will not be able to
    automatically transform the class name into a
    resource path for you (it doesn't append the
    ".class"), so you'll have to do it yourself.I have verified that your approach is working!
    regards,
    George

  • Which is best for converting a novel from Microsoft Office Word file to editable and sharable PDF

    I am a writer who needs to convert a Microsoft Office Word File to a PDF file that can be edited, re-formatted and sent to an on line printing company.  They recommended an Adobe PDF - PDX-1a available with Acrobat Professional.  I don't need photos or graphs, etc.  The cover design is Microsoft Graphic Art.  Sizing, of pages will be 5.5 x 8.5.  Number of pages that size approx. 486.
    Can you tell me if the PDF Creator is the one I am looking for?

    Good day,
    If your Word file is under 100MB in size, our CreatePDF service should do the job for you to create a PDF file. The file won't be a PDF/X-1a, but if there are no photos or graphics, it may suffice. If you must create a PDF that's PDF/X-1a-compliant, you need Adobe Acrobat Professional.
    Please let us know if you have any questions.
    Kind regards,

    My suggestion to use the smart playlist was more along the lines of making one list with rules to show everything in your library as long as it was kind "mpeg" (= mp3).
    Smart playlists cannot be edited manually, only by changing the rules.  You can use them as the basis for another smart playlist though.
    There is added overhead to using smart playlists, so don't go overboard.
