Converting External Ship-to-party number to Internal ship-to-party number

Hi Friends,
I am working on Ale idoc scenario in which i need to create sales order from customer purchase order. for this i need to maintain ship-to-party number in advance. Customer is providing me with list of ship to party number, but i dont want to maintain external number. I wan to maintain internal ship-to-party number and assign it to external ship-to-party number coming from idoc from customer PO.
So Please suggest how can i do this. is there some standard functionality provided by sap for this, coz i think this is standard requirement.

Hi Brijesh,
You can maintain the value of external ship to party number in the customer master against a system generated(internal) customer number.
This can be done in the sales view----partners tab of customer master. The field is called"partner description".
When you received an idoc,you can match the customer number in idoc to the field KNVP-KNREF and against this field pick value of KNVP-KUNNR. once the system determines the correct sold to party then ship to party will be determined automatically.
SAP has given KNREF field especially for these kind of scenarios.

In our SAP system, external shipping orders (ESOs) are routed to each approver on the hierarchy until the ESO is closed. But during forwarding, there are times when ESOs are getting stuck out into SAP space. Therefore, the ESO is not sitting in anyone's workflow nor is the ESO able to be manually forwarded (reassigned) to anyone. At most times, you are able to flag those ESOs for deletion, but we do not want to do that if the material on the ESO has left the factory. Most of the settings that are required to display the tracking number in the web shop are ECC dependent. The function module that gets the tracking related information in the Run Time is CRM_ISA_BASKET_STATUS_ENH.
In the above function module at line number 383 contains the relevant logic to get the tracking related information from the ECC system. At this line number the function module BAPI_XSI_GET_VTRK_G is called remotely in ECC.

How to convert an int variable into Number

Hi all,
I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.1.2
When I insert a row in a entity object I want to create another row in another entity object, but when I am setting the attribute for the new row I have a problem.
Here is the code:
int a = EO1Impl.paramA;
NameEO2Impl.setAttribute("Attribute1", a);
The error is that variable a is an int, while Attribute1 is a Number.
How can convert an int to a Number.

If a, as you say is an int, and assuming you mean an oracle.jbo.domain.Number,
NameEO2Impl.setAttribute("Attribute1", new oracle.jbo.domain.Number(a));works just fine.

How to convert amount data element to number data element

Dear Gurus,
I have a requirement to get the data by calling BRF+ and then pass them to BAPI 'BAPI_ASSET_ACQUISITION_POST', in the BRF+ export structure, there is a field 'AMOUNT', I bind it to DDIC element 'BF_ANBTR', the type is Number.
In BRF+, I call another global function to calculate the value, I define a local variant LV_VALUE to get export value from this function, this local variant's type is Amount, now I need to move this local variant value to the export field 'AMOUNT'.
But BRF+ doesn't allow to convert amount data element to number data element directly, and I find there is no formula function available. Only there is a function 'TO_AMOUNT' to convert number data element to amount data element.
Please help to get a solution for above solution.

Hi,
within the formula expression within the category "Mathematical functions" you will find the function "TONUMBER". This converts a data element of type currency to a number. According to the help of this function:
"The following conversion rules apply:
<Amount>: The number part is returned. The currency unit is omitted."
This is what you are looking for.
For the other way round you already mentioned the correct function "TO_AMOUNT"

If I copyone of them and do a past special/value, it does not work.
Try just Paste instead of Paste Special > Value
I know your question is about Excel, but this works in Numbers:
Copy 1 234 567 (with spaces) and Paste (not Paste Special) into a Cell in a Numbers Table. The result is 1234567 and it behaves as a number. A formula will consider it to be a number:

The reference is from Cell A2 to Cell A1 through a formula, such as: =A1+1

at Present the LCD "turns off" when a Slideshow runs on the external Screen ...

That is a different bug. I believe it has been previously reported. Seems there was something one could do, but don't recall.

Every working drive, Internal or External, should produce an Icon on your Desktop. If you cannot see those, click on the Desktop (to get Finder) and choose Preferences off the Finder Menu. The general pane has checkboxes for "Show these items on the Desktop:"
Double click the Icon for your External Drive to open it. Open the folders on it until you find the Items you want to copy. Drag them to the Icon of your Internal Drive, or open the folder where you want them to land and drop them in there.
A drive that does not appear on the desktop after you have asked it to may be damaged. But it would be smart to do a Restart to see if it is recognized again at next Startup.

I am running 10.8 and setup airport extreme to run music from my imac to my receiver in the other room. When I open sound from system preferences, I don't see an external device to choose, other then internal speakers. Any ideas?

Airport Express (the small Airport device, which is the only one with an audio connection) works through Airtunes, which only works with iTunes. The computer won't send ALL system sound to the Airport. If you actually want to send sound outside of iTunes, use Airfoil.

How to restrict external transferred/called party ID to internal calling party while being transferred by internal switchboard?

We are using CUCM 8.6.2:
User-A, with extension ‘xxxxx’ calling internal switchboard operator ‘yyyyy’ (switchboard operator using ARC operator console system) with the request to connect to doctor’s mobile number ‘zzzzzzzzzz’;
Once the switchboard operator transferred (blind or consulted all the same) the call to doctor’s mobile ‘zzzzzzzzzz’, User-A can see the doctor's mobile 'zzzzzzzz' on his/her phone ‘xxxxx’.
How can I restrict User-A’s phone with extension ‘xxxxx’ seeing doctor’s mobile ‘zzzzzzzzzz’ after being transferred by switchboard operator ‘yyyyy’.
I would be very greatful to get some hlep on this matter.

I ended up logging a call with Cisco and got the solution, so thought I'll share with you all.
Although there is possible configuration per DN but that can be a bit of complex configuration and also will vary depend upon individual route pattern and circumstances.
I used the global configuration suggested by Cisco engineer for our organisation as mentioned bellow:
Choose Service > Service Parameters in the Cisco Unified CallManager Administration page.
Choose the PUB IP and then choose the Cisco CallManager service.
In Clusterwide Parameters (Device - General) change the parameter value of Always Display Original Dialed Numberto true. The default setting is false.

ITunes 11 won't import .mov video files from external hard drive but will from internal.

Hi Everyone
I'm having a problem with iTunes 11.0.1. I can't import .mov video files stored on an external hard drive. I can however import .m4v files from the same external drive. Using either the add to library option or dragging files from the finder.
I can add .mov files from the internal though. Strange I know.
The reason behind this posting is that I'm using iFlicks to convert my TV and movies from my external drive for Apple TV and add all relevent meta data, keeping the files on the external drive and having iTunes link to them.
I would like to be able to simply create a general iTune compatiable file using iFlicks which only takes a minute or two per file to convert. I'm currently converting them to .m4v just for the sack of being able to import them into iTunes from an external drive takes 45 minutes per file.
Has anybody else had this problem? Any ideas on a fix to allow me to import .mov files from an external drive into iTunes without copying it to the iTune library file.

This might be worth a shot - basically seeing if Vista permissions could be the culprit.
Give yourself FULL control and ownership of the exHD, let's call it M:
How to Take Ownership and Grant Permissions in Windows Vista
Take control of the top level folder and ALL subfolders.
Try creating a new blank ITL file on M: by pressing *and holding* the shift key while itunes starts. See if you can add everything again.
