Converting New Code to Old Code

Hi, im running Dreamweaver MX, and im helping my teacher at
school to make a site for our school....i have accuquired some code
from another school site (ours of course) and im trying to get it
to work, and its not.
So how would i convert this new-er code so it can be usable
in the version my teacher has provided me?

Hi,
don't use wildcards when you define a variable (it actually doesn't make much sense). Just use the base class. In your example that would be:
extraData = new HashMap<String, Object>();-Puce

Yes, just install as you normally would using the serial number you originally used.
You did not have to uninstall on the old machine - with your single user license you are allowed to have two activated installations. So feel free to reinstall it if those are the only two machine you plan to have it on and you'd like to have a backup installation.

Moving all records- old code (G/L/Cust/Vend) to new code (G/L/Cust/Vend)

I have created a customer code (say for e.g. C001 for ABC LTD.), and did some SD & FI transactions (data entry) using that code.
After few days, I realized that this above stated customer code (C001) is not correct. So I blocked this customer code (C001 stated above) from doing further transactions.
Then, I opened a new code for this same above stated customer (ABC LTD.). The new code is now (say for e.g. C005 for ABC LTD.).
From now onwards I can do transactions in C005. But I want to transfer (in one shot / in one go) - all the previous old FI & SD transactions / records of C001 into C005.
SAP provides a standard Transaction Code for doing this in one shot; but I have forgotten that.
By running that transaction code, I can move all records from old customer code (C001)to the new customer code (C005).
Can anybody please help.
Same facility (SAP Standard Transaction Code) exits for Vendor Codes as well as G/L Codes also.
I mean to say that there are SAP Standard Transaction codes available - one each for G/L / Vendor / Customer
i.e.
To move all previous entries / records from old G/L / Vendor / Customer code(s) to New G/L / Vendor / Customer code(s) in one shot / in one go.
I will definitely reward points to everybody who tell me those TCodes.

You can use F-30 to transfer invoices, however you need to consider a few things here.
If you have billed via SD it may be worth issuing a credit for all of the invoices, and creating a new sales order for the new customer. This will help in the future if you want to analysis the total amount you have sold to this customer, as there may be some rebates due or something similar.
You could also look at FBR1.
You can use this to create a copy of the original document and then change the customer or vendor number, you must then also remember to reverse the posting to the first customer.

I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. According to me just convert ths code to servlet and instead of displaying the image with BufferedImage just stream it (the image) to the browser. This will be useful to catch the general idea.

I purchased a $25 gift card for iTunes several weeks ago. Went to use it tonight, and when I scratched off the code it was completely unreadable. I'm not impressed at having wasted $25. this is not customizing, this is standard master data maintenance.
Easiest way to find the menu path is by entering search_sap_menu into the command field.
then you are prompted for search text. here you can either enter a transaction code or a name of transaction.
SAP will give a list with all menues and paths to reach this transaction

Convert java code into UML

hello,
anybody knows a software convert java code into UML? Classes Diagram.
for example JBuilder do that.

its not a speed issue although sometimes it can be painfully slow (but now slower that sun one). I constantly found myself getting into infinite error message loops (e.g. "incorrect input"... click ok... "incorrect input"... errr click ok.... "incorrec..." etc etc), and also it (relatively) regularly falls over. I tried to export diagrams as GIFs, and when I imported them into Word they looked ok, but when I printed them they printed negative!! I used about 100g of toner before I realised, and had to go thru all diagrams changing them to JPGs. Plus, I think the interface for 6 is a lot less intuitive than 4.2, and it's trying to be too feature rich. Personally I would never use it as a code editor as it's too big and lumbering. For me, it's a diagramming tool, but it doesn't even put pretty pictures as nodes on deployment diagrams!! I want pictures of workstations, PDAs and databases!! Only kidding...

My question is, what will happen if the new code doesn't boot up after we reboot the CSS?
Will it auto fall back to the previous working code?

Good to see your going to 8.20 software.
I can't say for sure whether or not your CSS will fall back to the original image, although my suspicion is that it will not. I will assume that your CSS is in a redundant configuration consisting of a pair of CSS. Please correct me if I'm wrong. You can alway upgrade the standby CSS, and make sure if boots up OK on the new code. Then you can fail over to it, while you upgrade the second CSS. This way, you would always be upgrading the standby CSS, so traffic should not be impacted, even in the event of a boot failure. Then you can recover the standby that didn't boot properly while the master CSS is safely handling production traffic.
Also, I would recommend using the upgrade script rather than the manual upgrade process, especially if you have any custom user accounts and/or custom scripted probes. Another good idea as a backup plan is to temporarily (or permanently) arrange for console access to the two CSS during the upgrade process, just in case it is needed, as you are doing the upgrade remotely.
