Converting swf file to Gif/Jpeg/Png file

Hi,
I want to save a flash file(swf) in the server as gif/jpeg/png file. Problem is that if on the browser i want to take a snapshot of flash file then how can I convert that SWF file to gif file before sending it to server.

I used third party java library "Flagstone Software" the sample code for which is as follows:

ConstructingGif cGIF = new ConstructingGif(b);

The ConstructingGif class simply writes byte array to disk with file extension as gif or jpeg.
Now when I try to open the generated file through Photo Editor, I am being shown the error message as "Can't determine type".
Is this the problem of encoding...If so then what can be the solution?
