Copy English Translation into German - Programatically

All,
This is my requirement.
We have over 780 custom reports in SAP ECC 6 box. All reports are generated for language English. ( Selection Text and Text elements are only in English ). Now we wanted to use same reports for German. But If we login into German and run reports, all selection text and text elements showing blank.
So our requirement is to create utility by giving the report name as input it should take all Enligsh text into German as same.
For Example : for selection option S_MATNR having "Material" in English, and it should copied into German as "Material"
Please give inputs is there any function module or class we can use ?

Hi,
If your request is restricted to ABAP textpool only, you could try to create a simple report which uses the "READ TEXTPOOL" in the source language and then performs an "INSERT TEXTPOOL" into the target language...

Just received an Apple TV2 as a gift from a friend in the US. No problems with set-up. However, movies are only available in German/French/Italian. iTunes account shows Country/Region as USA, language on iTunes and Apple TV2 is English.

Easy fix... I had to go into the Apple Store in Settings in ATV2 and select the United States as my location and now all movies are in English. I also now have access to US TV shows.

Data display from English language to German language

We have got a requirement to replicate existing data from English language into German language. Please let me know what are options available to replicate the data into another language.

Cannot change SAPSCRIPT into German Language

Hi Gurus,
I tried to edit the Sapscript in SE71 to German language but there is an error message below the screen. Also, I have tried to translate it in transaction SE76, but the problem here is all the windows in the original language will be translated into German language. Does anyone know how to translate a certain window only in sapscript? Aside from SE76, do we have any alternatives on how to change the Sapscript in German language? Your help is much highly appreciated.

I have a small issue :
We have written a small program that captures all the code comments contained in a program. The challenge was to conver all the German codes to English after capturing all the code comments. Now that we have captured all the code comments , It is not possible to differentiate between the English and German comments, Because this program of ours has captured all the comments both English and German. While I need to see only the German comments.
Please advice..

Dear smitha12,
the extract program may be run for the programs of different source languages, but even that will not help you much.
If the programmer works in a German-speaking environment, he will probably use german as logon language creating German source language programs by default. But if responsible or forced by company rules, he will write all comments in English.
If you put the comments altogether into google translate German->English, only the german parts will be translated. Then you can pass them on as "OK, all english"

Hi Balaji,
After you copy a Std SAP Program into ZPROGRAM,
In ABAP Editor see Goto -> Attributes.
System will throw a pop-up window, In which press change original language.
then you can be able to change to English.

how do you get the word from the map?
basically if i understand overall goal: im going to
loop through the text given to me and check to see if
any of the words match my hashmap...if it does then i
replace the word with my word in hashmap and output

CS4 English convert to German

hallo each other,
I am looking for a "default Patterns.pat" file from a German version of CS4.
The file can be found in Photoshop CS4 installation directory under the folder "Required" to.
According to my information might be used to override the English version to turn Photoshop into German.

As John said, if it were that easy, everyone would do it. It can't be done. Just changing around a few files does not affect the core program. There's language specific code in other components, too. At worst you would only create a state where nothing matches up anymore and you get bombarded with warnings or PS doesn't start at all...

Hello Ram,
You should use Content AdministratorPortal Content Translation tab for translation the texts (names) for the PCD Objects (iViews, pages Worksets, Roles Folders) ect.
In Portal Content Translation Fallow the Fallowing Steps which are very simple
1)     Go to Translation work Coordination Portal Content and Right Click your Folder and select NewTranslation Worklist
2)     This will create the translation Worklist to which you can add your PCD Objects for Translation
3)     Go to Your Folder Containing your iViews, right Click and u2018Add Object To Translation Worklistu2019
4)     After You have added all the objects you want to translate, click u2018Generate Translation Datau2019 Button at the top on the Translation Worklist screen
5)     Click the u2018Release for Translationu2019 button in the screen that appears.
6)     Click close in the screen that appears.
7)     Go to u2018Worklist Translationu2019 link
8)     Search for your Worklist you just created using the search box.
9)     Select the Worklist from the result list
10)     At the Bottom of the screen select the u2018Source and Target Languageu2019 from the dropdown.
11)     Click the Load for Translation
12)     Choose whichever texts you want to translate and enter the Translate Text in the box for the target text
13)     After u r done with all the translation, click close.
14)     Save all and Close
15)     You will go back to the previous Screen again. There select your translation Worklist and click Mark as Translated
16)     Go back to the u2018Translation Worklist Coordinationu2019 link and open your translation Worklist from your folder
17)     Click u2018Publish Translationu2019 Button
18)     Finally Check the portal content

New style added to copied Smartform, Translation Style Issue

I copied an existing smartform to another one where in I had to change the style used in the smartform to another style.
But I am not able to change the style used for translations maintained in se63.Any Suggestions??

When u copying the smarform from on form to another form at same tiem we have another optione is there style copy that style into another style.
STEP1:GOTO-SMARTFORM-SELECT 2ND RADIOBUTTON----GIVE TO STYLE NAME-COPY THE STYLE INTO ZSTYLE.
Then u can use that style.

My voice entered texts are being translated into Spanish...Help!

Starting this morning, my voice entered text messages in iMessage are being translated into Spanish and I don't know how to stop it.
Anyone?

Solved...
I selected a "stuck on Spanish" tag link after I posted and the answer was there.
I must have selected the Globe icon next to the microphone and when I touch it once, it changes my keyboard to Spanish, if I touch it again, it changes into Chinese Trad.
I held down the Globe icon and selected "English" and all is working again, but I don't like the proximity of the globe icon to the mic icon, as everytime I touch it by accident, my keyboard changes and my text gets translated into that language.....EEEEEK!
I've been playing with lanuages and have added these foreign keyboards, I need to remove these keyboards now.
