Copy of notifications (mails) not received in business workplace

Hi,
The users stopped receiving a copy of the notifications in their business workplaces sent via mail step in a workflow.
The WF is using the SAP username to send the mails in the mail step of the workflow (we are not using the e-mail address, just the user name so the e-mail is obtained from SU01D).
Do you know if there is any custimization particular of the user or in general where you can set up if a copy of the e-mail can be received in the business workplace as unread document?

Sorry, I was a bit confused that you said "The users stopped receiving a copy of the notifications". So did they receive them before? Did they get both 1) email and 2) notification in business workplace?
At least I don't know a way to get notifications in business workplace if you have the above-mentioned "forwarding" setting on in SO16. I assume that if you turn it on, it simply forward everything to the email address and notifications are not coming to business workplace anymore. But if you said that it was working before, then I don't know how did you manage to get it working .
I would understand that you have to steps in workflow One sends notfication and one sends email. But if you somehow get this working with only one step and then get a "copy" into business workplace and email both, that is great. I would be interested to know about how to achieve this.

    Hi gurus,
    the initiator is not receiving mail notification,after managers rejection,who rejected that manager is receiving notification.in send mail task agent as wfinitiator assinged.
    i called terminating event for Approve and reject.
    in reject outcome i called this send mail task for initiator's notification.but this not going to initiator , who has taken the reject decision that manager is receiving.
    where is the problem?

    yap,its customized workflow, using same way Organization Object and Expression which has Workflow Initiator in the send mail step.
    starting with Event call and also for approve & rejections callling another events for terminating events
    through rejection terminating event not sending to initiator.
    I need to send Initiator's SAP INBOX only..no need to send their Emails(external inbox).

  • Yahoo Mail not receiving attachments from Workflow Notifications

    One of my clients uses Yahoo Mail and receives Workflow Notifications on their Yahoo Mail address. For some reason, file attachments are being removed within the Workflow Notification. I set up my own Yahoo Mail account and have the exact same issue.
    Another issue is that the "view this item" link doesn't work at all within Yahoo Mail. However, the "mailto" link does work.
    Has anybody else experienced issues with Yahoo Mail?

    If the yahoo user has admin access to the site then the attachment should appear within the workflow email. 
    If still experiencing such issue I would recommend raising a case so we can investigate this ASAP. Please include the users in question and also the email attachment or screencast so we can attempt to replicate within your case.

  • Receiver Mail adapter - mail package - mail not received

    Hi guys!
    I'm using receiver mail adapter and when I want to use Mail Package (subject is assign dinamically based on mapping) I do not receive the e-mail. When I switch to not using Mail Package, the mail is sent correctly..
    In RWB everything seems to be ok, it says mail sent successfully... just not to my outlook
    Any ideas, what could be wrong?

    I can't understand this..
    Which fields are neccessary to fill? Is from, to and content enough? I think it should be...

    Is there anyway to tell this email was not received.  Someone else forwarded me a copy...
    At the bottom of this email it clearly states "but Delivery notification was not sent from the destination."  What that means is I didn't get it nor was it ever opened.
    I don't know what happened, but as I stated.  I did not receive this information.  This is the first I have seen anything."

    From your description, I would like to verify the following thing:
    Is this message from outside your organization or internal user?
    From the description, the issue should be related to the settings on the destination server. I recommend you send a test message to other recipients and check the result. What's more, please make sure that the sender is not blocked in the Sender Filtering.

  • Dbmail status is 'sent' in the sysmail_sentitems table but mail not received

    Hi,
    Suddenly from yesterday, we have not been receiving any of our notification mails from any of our servers (Dev/Prod/UAT).No changes were made to email operator .
    All the mails are available in the sysmail_sentitems table and not available in sysmail_faileditems/sysmail_event_log.When generated a test mail and checked the status using sysmail_help_queue_sp , the status is 'RECEIVES_OCCURRING'.
    What could possibly be the issue.

    If DBMail shows the email is "sent" then it was sent to the SMTP server and the problem does not reside in SQL Server DBMail. 
    This is most likely a SPAM filter has been configured on the server which is throwing away your emails.  Please see your SMTP administrator.

    I have an issue in PR workflow.A notification mail is send to user to approve a PR,but the user says that he did not receive that notification mail.He manually goes to transaction & approve the PR & workflow gets completed.
    Please let me know how to find out the cause of this problem.In my workflow log it shows workitem approved by the user.
    What can be the cause that notification mail is not send.The user email id is maintained in su01.

    This is not something that happens automatically. Is the workflow listeing out for an event which tells it that the activity represented by the step has already been done?
    I assume you mean the user performed the operation that was supposed to be done via the workflow step, not that he performed the workflow step itself. If the workflow log shows that he did perform the step, then the user is mistaken.

    I am having the same problems. I am not receiving email to one of the six addresses I have in Mail. Ever since I updated to Mavericks, I've had problems with Apple Mail. I checked the activity and conneciton doctor, everything is green and connection is fine, but no email. I only receive the message if I quit mail and restart.
    I've been using apple for 10 years, and in the last year or so noticed they are going the way of windows in that there programs don't "just work" anymore. There are more and more issues creeping up with each new update.

  • Mail not receiving emails with attachments

    I'd appreciate any suggestions in relation to the following.
    My wife and I both run computers from the one account, Mail on her PowerBook logging in through my name and password. Until recently, we have had no problems at all. However, it has come to light that my wife has not been receiving emails with attachments for some time. To test this, my wife sent an email with an attachment to her home email address from work, and copied it to me. I received the email and the attachment on my PC; my wife's Mac did not receive the email. I then forwarded the email with the attachment to her computer; this was successful. This would suggest some problem with her Mail account on the Mac. However, the configuration has not been changed. Is it possible for it just to stop working for some reason?

    I'm using a PC for my email at the moment. I'm not sure if all my wife's emails have been downloaded. However, Mail has made a Home/Mail/MessageUidsAlreadyDowloaded file. This was created when I sent an email to test what happened. I was unable to make Mail download all her emails, so I guess they must have gone from the server. She has a different email address to mine, but it's run from the same ISP account; as I said, she logs in, automatically, through Mail to her email. I have contacted the ISP about it, but they are unable to see any trace of emails that colleagues have sent my wife and which she sends home to herself. All of these files happen to have attachments, but I cannot see any setting of Mail which would account for them being rejected. Also, I can't be entiurely sure that only emails with attachments don't get through; there may be others, 'unattached'.

    I started my notification mailer
    Edited it and gave the smtp server IP there..I did go into advanced settings
    Than i ran a request and selected an employee defined as user in the apps for notify in the options..i saved the employee earlier with its email address
    it was working fine, but for this, shud the email address has to be defined with the user or the employee that is attched to the user?
    Second problem
    on PO approval cases, the PO maker is not receiving emails when the PO gets approved..and the approver is not receiving email notifying him that he has received a PO for approval

  • Yahoo mail Not Receiving since 4.2.1 update this morning

    Ever since updating my iPhone 4 to 4.2.1 this morning I have not been able to get mail from my Yahoo mail account. I could send mail, but when i launch Mail I get the message "Cannot Get Mail. The connection to the server failed." I have tried a hard reset, and I have deleted and added the account two or three times. Nothing works. I can send email, but not receive. Am I missing something?

    I have had the same thing happen since the update on both my iPad and iPhone 4. Then last night both devices suddenly started to work like normal and I had done noting to fix it -- and now neither my yahoo account nor business yahoo account works on iphone/ipad. this same problem with yahoo mail hing happened at the last iphone software update too... Very frustrating. When the last update came out I had to delete bot accounts from my phone and re-load them. that is probably necessary here again...

  • Mac mail not receiving mail timely - through the web or mac mail on computer

    for the past few days - my email works in the morning - then all afternoon - I can not receive email... sending is fine... then at about 7:30 at night - it all comes through - what is going on... this is ridiculous.

    none are working - come on let's get this issue resolved it IS a mac mail issue Apple - fess up and fix it.

    mail goes into sent folder, there is a sound as normal, there is NO error message. i verify by send a copy to me or to my colleagues
    A sent message moved to the account's Sent mailbox indicates the message was successfully sent by the SMTP server used to send messages with the account. If the message cannot be sent for whatever reason, the message will remain in the Outbox mailbox with an error message provided. A successfully sent message is no guarantee the message will be accepted and received by the recipient's incoming mail server.
    EVEN using web based mac.com to access mail (from location(work)), i cannot send mail!
    When using webmail access to send a message with your .Mac account at work, is the message sent as with the Mail application and placed in the account's Sent mailbox which indicates the message was successfully sent but is not received or does something different occur?
    but Gmail works fine from location (work) both via Mail.app and via gmail web-based
    Then try selecting Gmail's SMTP server to send messages with your .Mac account when using the Mail application to see if this makes any difference or have you already tried this?
    i have used another Ibook to try both via Mail.app and web-mased mac mail from location (work) but also will not complete the send.
    i have configured a PC outlook express at location (work) for mac mail and it will not complete send
    i have used PC browser (IE) to access mac mail web based and it will not send from location (work)
    Are the messages also successfully sent with the Mail.app and webmail access on the iBook and with OE and IE on the Windows PC but not received by the recipient?

    By the information that you have provided, it sounds like you are using STAMINA mode. If you are using STAMINA mode, you need to set WhatsApp as active in standby via Settings > Power management > STAMINA mode > Apps active in standby > Add applications > WhatsApp.
