Copying of Shipping tab fields from Customer master to Sales Order.
Dear SAP SD Gurus,
I am trying to create an Order, but the Data in the Shippining tab of the Customer Master doesnt get Copied in to the Sales ORder.
the Fields in the Cuystomer master are 1) Partial delivery per item 2) Max. partial deliveries.
and this happens specifically for a particular Sales Area.
the same order when created with the same customer master but a Different Sales Area, the data gets Copied correctly.
can some body quickly advise me, if there is a Standard setting to maintian such a vehaviour or Could there be some "Z Developmet".

Check your customers (use tcode XD03 - provide sales area) the Shipping tab
1) Partial delivery per item
2) Max. partial deliveries.
for the Sales Area which is not copying to sales order.
If it is not maintained, then maintain the same as your requirement.

In this IMG activity, you define the rules for text determination. You must carry out the following steps:
Select a text object and define the rules for text determination for this object. Text objects are, for example, the sales texts in the customer master record or the sales document header.
Define the permitted text types for every text object. If the text types contained in the standard SAP R/3 System are not sufficient, create new ones.
Define the access sequences. This way, you define how the SAP System should determine the texts for a text type.
Group the text types together in text determination procedures. The SAP System then proposes the text types from the procedure when you maintain a customer master record or a sales & distribution document. The search for the respective text is carried out using the access sequence which you have stored for each text type in the procedure.
Allocate the text determination procedures so that a procedure applies to the following criteria in each case:
account group customer
sales & distribution document type
item category -

First you need to do the Text determination for all areas(i.e Customer Sales and distribution,Sales order header,delivery header and billing header) through VOTXN transaction.
-->Create the Customer text ID under Object KNVV
Maintain the text for Text ID in the customer master >sales area data>Extras-> Text
To copy the customer text to the sales order you need to keep KNVV table as Text object in the sales order text access sequence for the text ID.
If you want to copy the sales order header text to the invoice header first you need to copy the sales order header text to the delivery header from delivery you can copy to invoice.
When you want to copy the Text from Sales order to delivery the Access sequence will place a role
If you want to copy the sales order text to the delivery document The Text Object should be VBBK in the delivery Header Text determination access sequence for that Text ID
Again you can copy the text from delivery to Billing document through checking the Delivery Text field in the billing document detail screen (Top most bottom of the screen).
Go to VOFA transaction select your billing document type then go in to the details here you can find the Delivery Text field you just check that check box.
Now system will copy the sales order header text to the delivery header then it will copy to the invoice header.

Copy Credit Card details from customer master to Sales Order automatically
Hi all,
We would like to have the Credit Card information created in customer master to be copied in to the Sales order when we select the SP/SH..in the SO
I request your input on how to set this...( as of now..we need to go to Header--> payment cards and then select)
Note: customers do not have option of multiple cards .therefore the card info is defaulted in the Customer Master.

Price Determination from Material Master in Sales Order.
Hi Gurus,
We have a Requirement from Client, The Client maintains Planned Price 3 in Costing 1 View of Material Master and this is Maintained by Finance Department and they want that Price to be Reflected as Sales price PR00 in Sales Order without maintaining the Condition Record for PR00.How can we Configure this please help.

Ask your ABAPer to write a routine for alternative condition type(VOFM)
Logic will be to fetch the value in the costing view (you can get the table and field by pressing F1 in the relevant field) of the matnr in vbap. the Abaper will be able to call the matnr value from the screen before the sales order is saved.
This matnr value should be passed in the table (which you got by pressing F1 in the material master) and you can fetch the value of the relevant field .
Now assign the alternative condition type against your PR00 in the pricing procedure.
Check and revert back.

Copy mode of payment from customer master data to sales order,

I have a small doubt. If we want to transfer the mode of payment from customer master data to sales order, do we have to use Exit- MV45AFZZ.

I have tested this in sand box.Thought the customer master is having payment method ( payer ) ,It is not copying from customer master to sales order but if you maintain manually in sales order ,it is copying into billing document level.FYI see below snap shot.
Note:If you want it from customer master into sales order,may be you need to take help of abaper on this.

i guess you havent missed any config and the payment card details wont copy to sales order by default. I am also working payment cards. Reason why it isnt set in config is, we may want to input a different card number at the time of sales order / or want to use two cards to authorize a sales order / or if one of the cards has expired or invalid then i want to input a second card info.
Still if you want to pull in the info from customer master you may check with userexit_field_modification.
let me know if you have more queries on payment cards.

Customer Name on Sales Order not in Data Collections

I am looking for some help. My company just did an upgrade from 11i to R12 in the middle of May. As part of the upgrade we installed ASCP. We have noticed that certain customers are not being collected when running Standard Data Collections. We have open sales orders in the system for the customer. The sales order are being collected properly and appear in the plan. When we show the Customer field in the 'Supply/Demand Screen' in ASCP, the field is blank for select customers. Is there anything on the customer master or sales order line that would prevent the customer name from being collected? Any insight would be helpful.

RichYou can go to order organizer screen select the OA NO which you are not able to see in the ASCP workbench, go to line items---using show field get the Demand visible
tab on screen-----default value should be 'Y' if blank then then that could be the one of the reason. -
Adding new field to Customer master sales data area sales tab

I am new to module pool so seeking some help from experts here.
I have a requirement were in I have to add a new field to the customer master (VB02) sales area data sales tab.
I found that there is no screen exit.Is there any other way of doing it?

How did you look for screen exit? Have you also tried it in BADI? 'Coz normally, adding custom fields to a standard screen has to be implemented in exits.
I haven't worked with VB* screens yet so I can not give you a some possible exits. But you can do some debugging. I think there's an available code in the net that searches for exits/screen exit (ask Mr.Google). You can also ask him how to search BADI in debugging mode. I remember it's TCode SE24 then look for cl_exithandler class, get_instance method. Then look for exit_name variable.

Ship-to Party details- not from Customer master

I need to fetch ship to party details for SO and those details should not be from Customer master(order specific including name, location and region)
For that I am using following code.

Moving field from Customer tab to Deatils Tab

We have requirement to move the field added using EEWB to details Tab in Lead transaction.Using EEWB I have included field in lead transaction.EEWB gegeration was successful and I am bale to see the field under Customer Fields Tab, however according to my business case we need the field under Details TAB.
Is there any way we can move field from Customer Fields to Details tab.

who will do that , is this table update is by abaper or CRM guy ,

Text from customer master to delivery header
Hi Experts,
Here we have a requirement, Text what we maintain in the customer master (like Shipping point address) text need to be trigger at Delivery header,
1) Is it possible in standard text determinaction or we need to go for any user exits?
2) If we want to use user exits what are the user exits we have to copy the data from customer master to delivery header.
NOTE: Client doesnt want to use the text from sales order or scheduling agrements.
Please help me to fill the requirement .

It is possible to achieve this with standard text determination procedure itself.
Goto transaction VOTXN and in the "Delivery --> Header" create a new access sequence with the Customer Master Text IDs (like the ID which contains the Shipping Point address) from which the text is to be selected. Once done, create or make use of an existing text determination procedure available under Delivery Header and then assign the access sequence to the Delivery Header Text ID into which the Customer Master text is to be copied. Maintain additional settings as necessary. This will ensure that the text from customer master is directly copied over to the delivery header.
There are many documents already available (search in Google) to explain the text determination process if you need help with the same.

Profit center Field in customer master

Is it possible to activate the profit center field in customer master under billing data, I saw the account group layout but center field is not there.

Profit center as a field is not available in Customer Master. However, if you have new gl activitaed it is copied to the customer line item from the offsetting line item. By system design, it is imperative, that the subledgers like customer or vendors are updated with the profit center of the line item. This is what the concept of document splitting is all about.

FD33 - Receivable Field in Customer master is not getting updated
FD33 - Receivable Field in Customer master is not getting updated for the FI documents posted in the customer account. I need to know is there any setting either in FI or in SD, which control whether the FI document is relevant to credit check?
In SD, we are having the item category but i am not getting how to control for FI documents? How can i make them credit relevant item. Also for special item, we are controlling the same through Transaction code : OBXY - by special GL indicators but what about the normal/general item?
How can I control the general FI documents having various FI documents type as relevant to credit check?Apart from the above,please also check the below:

As per me there is no specific control to active the credit active field in FI values unlike for updating the sales values in FD32 we activate credit active for the item cat(VOV7) which will ensure the sales values to update (open order, open delivery and open invoices) in to credit management.
For FI values to update i think this is inbuilt in the program only.( example update group 000012,15,18 etc).
Any way coming into query not updating the receivables, please check the below points once again.
1. Check the whether invoice has accounting document generated or not, make sure that it is generated then only system update the receivables.
2. Even if the above all points are checked including above all posts,then also still the same issue repeating then try to run the program RVKRED77, before this first run RVKRED88 and compare this values with FD32.
