Cost settlement only for assets that have been paid

Dear all,
i need to do, at the end of the month, the cost settlement from wbs to asset only for the the part of asset that have been paid.
I don' t know how to do this using standard sap funcionalities.
Theonly way that we think to use is:
- setlle of the entire wbs
- transfer posting (FI) from asset to wbs of the part that have not been paid.
Some of you can help me?
thanks
Elena

Hello friend,
Because I do not understand your requirement to capitalize from AuC to final asset only only those costs for goods/service that have been paid - I would like to give warning that you may not have the requirement correct.
This would not be your fault, but the fault of the accounting users giving you the requirement is my guess.
Receiving against PO may be MIGO, and then posting the vendor's invoice later on when it's received, is MIRO usually.
The actual payment to the vendor is a subsequent posting known as a check cut.  The accounting for a check cut does not create the AuC value, nor does it meet any accounting requirement for capitalization.
The accounting requirement for capitalization in almost all countries would be MIGO.  Because we have posted the receipt of goods or services, we now owe a vendor somewhere.  The liability will be in your non-specific vendor account, GR/IR which stands for Good Received/Invoice Received.  MIRO clears out the amount from your GR/IR account, moving it to your reconciling account in the g/l for a specific vendor sub-ledger account.  The check cut then removes specific liability from reconciling account, and removes cash from g/l cash account.
Recognizing that we owe the cost of the goods receipt MIGO, it is already fair and required to capitalize the costs to final assets and commence depreciation expense (assumption you have placed the capital fixed assets into service).
So, neither MIRO nor check cut should delay your capitalization from AuC to final completed assets unless your requirement is different that SAP basic scenario.   Regards

  • Getting letters for items that have been removed from my credit report

    I have gotten several credit cards in the past month as I have been working on rebuilding my credit. Over the past few weeks I have been receiving letters from collection agencies for items that have been removed from my credit report. Has anyone else had this issue? Should I just throw this stuff away since it's not longer being reported on my credit report and the collections are so old they've been removed from the report? I am freaking out a bit. Any advice is welcome.

    wonderwoman1970 wrote:
    They were removed because they are over 8 years old.They can still try to collect, they just cannot place it on your reports. If its also beyond SOL in your state, you have to option to sent them a Cease Communications letter, charmingly refferred to as a FOAD letter. (Google it to find the meaning of that acronym).They will just sell it to another JDB, who may send you another collection notice. Keep all correspondence regarding this debt in order to keep track of it. You also have the option to settle it for a small percentage - I would suggest offering no more than 5-10% of the original amount (not some inflated "new balance"), and in your offer letter refer to it as "old, time barred debt, that is not a current financial obligation" but that you are willing to settle only to close out the account.

  • Tally up a column only on rows that have been checked

    Hi I'm driving myself to drink with this, and I'm sure it should be pretty easy.
    I have a subtotal column (Column D) which I calculate the total of via (SUM(D2:D20), however I have a column G, that is a "Paid" column, that has a checkbox, now what I want to do is only tally up in column D the amounts that have been ticked/checked in column G.
    I thought SUMIF would be my solution but it's not working.
    I've tried the following among other things and nothing works.
    =SUMIF(D2:D20,TRUE)
    =SUMIF(G2:G20,TRUE,D2:D20,)
    Any help would be most appreciated.

    =SUMIF(G2:G20,TRUE,D2:D20)
    works perfectly.
    In your message there was an extraneous comma but I don't know if it was available in your sheet or if it was just a typo.
    If you are running Numbers in English in a country whose decimal separator is comma, you will have to edit the formula like that:
    =SUMIF(G2:G20;TRUE;D2:D20) (semi-colon replacing comma).

  • How to view Goods Receipts that have been paid

    Hi Experts,
    We use SAP Business ONE 2007A PL08. I am wondering what is the procedure to view the goods receipts for which payments have been made.
    When I go Puchasing AP-->Goods Receipt PO, I put an asterix in the number and I am not sure what to select for the status. There are different kinds of status. Open, Open-Printed, Closed, Cancelled, Unapproved, Paid, Delivered etc.
    When I chose the paid, it gave me a list with open goods receipt and so I guess that is not the option. When I chose closed, it gave me a list of closed goods receipts and I pulled up a column named "Paid (SC)" and I could see the status as closed and I could see the payments made against it.
    So does the "closed goods receipts" mean that they are paid or am I missing something? Then what is the meaning of the status that says "Paid" then?
    Please let me know!!
    Thanks

    Try this...
    Select T3.DocNum 'Grpo No', T3.DocDate 'GrPo Dt',

  • Query for applications that have been superseded.

    I need to return a list of applications that have not been superseded in a report. I can do this very easily in the console, but I can't seem to find any views that show any information about application supersedence.
    While we are at it, has anyone spotted a diagram showing the relationships for Applications in the views for SCCM 2012?  Unfortunately looking through the existing reports doesn't help all that much because the way the queries are structured is very
    confusing.  Which also may explain why the application reports frequently have conflicting numbers in the same report.  By this I mean that these multi-part reports that show a bunch of different graphics, often have numbers for the same application
    that don't match up.
    My customer has basically decided to ignore just about all the application reports that come in SCCM since they so frequently don't agree with themselves or the SCCM console.  That's why I'm trying to understand the model so I can try and give them
    some better reports.

  • How can I count only text fields that have been used?

    Hi,
    I'm using Livecycle Designer for a dynamic form.  I have a section of the form that contains field for the user to enter goals and then rate the goal.  I'd like to count only the text fields with entries and then have the total number of rates divided by the number of text field entries.
    Row 1 , column 1 -- Goal is to pick up 5 apples.   Row 1, column 2 - the rate given is 5
    Row 2, column 1 - Goal is to pick up 5 pears.  Row 1, column 2 - the rate given is 5
    Two goals for a total rating of 10     ---  10 divided by 2 = 5
    Is it possible to count only those fields that are populated?
    Also, is it possible to create an error message if the user entered 5 goals but only rated 4 of them?

    You could do a simple check for null and increase a counting variable if there's a value in the field. Here's a sample:
    var goalCount = 0;
    if (field1.rawValue != null){
         goalCount = goalCount + 1;
    if (field2.rawValue != null){
         goalCount = goalCount + 1;
    if (field3.rawValue... etc.
    this.rawValue = totalPoints/goalCount;
    where totalPoints is a sum of the values in the goal fields. This script is javascript and should be placed in the calculate event of the field showing your average score.

  • MRBR:  Still showing invoices that have been paid

    Hello SAP Guru's
    After some research, I found out that my users have been releasing orders manually through FBL1N by removing the Payment Block manually.  Why are they showing under MRBR still?  Shouldn't they fall off?
    Thanks!

    Hi AMS,
    Did you get your answer from another thread??
    From our experience  . . . MRBR is part of the MM module and it feeds into the FI Module which is where FBL1n resides.  We only use FBL1n to clear non PO related blocked invoices(like those from FB60 or FBD1).  If you clear in MRBR first then FBL1n will show the invoice as UNBLOCKED, too because MM flows into FI (but not the opposite way).  That's why those cleared via FBL1n doesn't clear MRBR.
    You should also note that if you do a MR11 maintenance clearing where the invoice was entered before the GR and the MR11 mimics the GR, then MRBR will autoclear.  We have MRBR set up to run as a batch job several times a day to unblock those invoices where there is now a 3 way match.

  • How do I set EchoSign for Sharepoint web part to only sync documents that have been sent from the same site?

    Since EchoSign for Sharepoint (the web part) is basically worthless with any site over 2500 documents, we have broken up our sites so that the web part can successfully traverse the site without timing out. However, within the web part, there is an option (two green arrows) to synch with SharePoint. Unfortunately, users can sync any document from EchoSign to a SharePoint library. I dont want the users synching documents that dont belong in that library. Are there any settings or coding that will allow only the syncing, or actually auto sync the documents, to within the same site?

  • ")S 9.2.2 only for machines that have OS X installed"???

    My sister has a G4 Sawtooth (no special enhancements). A mistake was made during installation, and a "clean install" was not done, resulting in her losing all of her 3rd party extensions , Outlook mail, addresses, etc. She's reinstalled some of the printer software, but is getting an the message "error 64" (that the printer can not be used). In her research trying to solve the problem, she came across the below article with the quote I used in the Subject line. Now this is not what I understood about the 9.2.2 update, and it's importance, but maybe I'm mistaken (I'm only huemannn). Could anyone else comment? Also, has anyone ever had an "error 64" (have to check whether minus or not). Thanks.
    http://www.macosx.com/content/faq.php/q3970/Macintosh-Error-Message.html

    Karbon,
    If you download the 22MB OS9.2.2 update, and read the "read me" you'll see that it contains a lot more than just Classic Support for OSX. If you have TomeViewer, you ca actually check the OS9.2.2 Tome and see / extract the individual updates. There are also five or six updates that came out AFTER OS9.2.2 that will list it as a requirement, iTunes v2.0.4, QuickTime v6.0.3, Authoring Support v1.1.9 (and two/three more I can't remember just now). These updates have nothing to do with OSX.
    Then there's the question of support for OS9 applications, OS9.2.2 has been available for two and a half years (April 2003), OS9.2.1 was available for 20 months (August 2001). Any software released since April 2003 will have a min OS requirement of OS9.2.2.
    There are updates to OS9.2.1 and OS9.2.2 (the Classic Support files) that are updated from within OSX when you start Classic. These are probably the only files that require you to have OSX.
    It's your computer, so if you're happy with the way it works under OS9.2.1 we're not going to force you to upgrade, but most of us have.

  • Linear Correlation -- Keeps returning NaN for fields that have been operated on

    Hello, I'm trying to do just a simple linear correlation study with my data set. I can run a Linear Correlation on the entire set and all the correlation coefficients generate just fine. When I operate on columns, though, the operated fields all return "NaN"
    in the correlation matrix.
    Eg. my columns look like A, B, C, X. The correlation matrix populates correctly when I just run the Linear Correlation on the un-filtered, un-operated dataset. When I do an Apply Math Operation (divide) to append two more columns, A/C and and B/C, it applies
    the math operation just fine; I can see all the new percentages of C that each A & B feature represent. But the new columns A/C and B/C don't work in the correlation matrix. Everything shows up as NaN. I checked, and these features are all Numeric.
    Any ideas? Thanks!

    FIXED!
    Just in case anybody else stumbles across this, the Custom Value to replace isn't "Infinity", it's "NaN".
    Use Roope's solution but with different syntax:
    You can use "Convert To Dataset" module to replace invalid values, by using following parameters (for example to reset infinity to 0):
    Action: ReplaceValues
    Replace: Custom
    Custom Value: NaN
    New Value: 0

  • Automatically mark images that have been exported

    Hi,
    i really wished LR had a seperate flag for images that have been exported yet. It would be perfect if LR would set that flag automatically when an image has been exported. Just like in RSP.
    An oh, speaking about Rawshooter Premium, we need a REAL BACKGROUND EXPORT STACK just like in RSP.
    Fred

    @ DW Harrison
    It should simply be a visual hint (in the grid mode especially. could be a star or just an icon) that reminds you which images (of a collection) have already been exported - in whatever format.
    @Grafin
    In fact i _do_ use a color code for this purpose, but it would be nicer if it gets set automatically by LR, not manually my me.

  • Smart collection of images that have been printed

    I'd like to create a smart collection of images that have been printed.  Is there any way to do this?  If not, is there a way to search for images that have been printed?
    Separately, one my smart collections screens by edit date so that I can find out what I have worked on recently.  However, it also picks up everything I shot and imported recently, even if I haven't edited the images.  Is there any way to filter these out?
    I'm using LR 5.3 for Windows.
    Thank you,
    Robert

    Here's how I get there.  This filters images that have had Develop adjustments within the last three weeks.

  • Delete Release strategies for PO that has been delete

    Hii SAP Expert,
    I'm facing this problem whereby there are Purchase Order that have been inactive which mean the line item for the Purchase Order have been deleted. The concern is the release strategies still appear in ME29 for PO that have been deleted.
    How do i remove this PO from the release strategies ?

    Dear Nikamz,
    Check to the PO item detail , if the delivery complete indicator and final invoice indicator is ticked, then the release strategy will remain in document although you already delete all the PO line items, try to untick the indicator and then unreset the delete indicator and delete the item again, see whether the release strategy still exist, also you may try to check notes : 527995(run report  ZKSTAPO1 to update the STAPO field).

  • We have two users that have been using Creative Cloud for almost a year. Recently, sometime in the last 4ish weeks, the users can no longer run Creative Cloud apps. (Yes, our subscription is paid.) Error simply says administrator access is required

    We have two users that have been using Creative Cloud for almost a year. Recently, sometime in the last 4ish weeks, the users can no longer run Creative Cloud apps. (Yes, our subscription is paid.) Error simply says administrator access is required to install. The apps have already been installed. The users cannot run them unless they are in the local admin group.Using "Run as admin" does not work. It gives the same error.
    I have opened a case with adobe support and was basically told to suck it up and put the users in the admin group. Actually, what was said was that it is "mandated that the users have administrative rights".
    There are a couple of things wrong with this. It was working for both users until recently - a recent required creative cloud update. The users have never been local admins yet the apps were working (poorly, but working).
    We are in an enterprise environment and users simply do not have administrative rights on the computers.
    I have changed permissions on all adobe folders, granting users or authenticated users modify or full control rights, did the same in whatever Adobe registry HKLM keys I could find. Nothing has allowed the users to run the apps - unless they are put in the local admin group.
    Someone has to have a fix for this. Adobe apps have proved to have far too many vunerabilities to even entertain the idea of elevating user rights. I can't imagine that enterprise environments are allowing this.
    Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Jeff,
    Thank you for your response. The users in question are "standard" domain users. We do not reduce users permissions below the standard level.
    The apps do not load with their current standard user permissions.
    The thing that makes this odd, is that up until recently they did this issue with cloud apps. The only way I can make it work for them now is to put them in the local administrator group on their pc's - which is not going to happen.
    This is what they now see. As I said before, this was not a problem up until recently they would see all their available apps. If I put them in the local admin group the apps are listed without having to install. Everything is there, just not accessible to the user.

    ok, so I have discovered where the issue came from...
    The code you helped me with before, were I removed all links and my link character styles that I had (found here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5881440#5881440)
    Well it set all the items I was finding/replacing to unknown fonts that my machine doesn't have (Like Helvetic Neue Bold, instead of just Helvetica Bold, etc).
    Is there an easy way of fixing this?
    The only way I know to fix it right now is:
    Go to Package >> go to Fonts >> Select the the font that says it's missing >> Select Find First >> CLOSE ALL OF THIS, then use the eye-dropper to select the text around that font which copies the formatting and then apply it to the text who's formatting got messed up.  And then start the process all over again for the next occurence of that word whose formatting got stripped.
