Costing process run results

i am trying to view my costing process using View>Payroll process Result
Payroll = Monthly payroll
Action Type= Costing
and i click on find i can see the costing date as 31-MAR-2010. i then click on the Assignment Process button and then i click on the employee that i want to view the details for costing and i click on costing button
It takes me to a screen where i must enter the Costed Run information i.e i must select a date from the lov and then i click on the details section under the Element name i can view the employee details for each element and the debit and credit entries for the each elements.
Can some one tell me the table name for this form as i want to view using sql select command.

    For the currency you are converting to: XXX
    INPUTCURRENCY dimension must have XXX as a member with "REPORTING" property set to "Y"
    and
    RPTCURRENCY dimension must have XXX as a member with "REPORTING" property set to "Y" and "CURRENCY_TYPE" property set to "R"
    It needs to be in both dimensions with the right properties.  INPUTCURRENCY is the currency dimension in the RATE cube, RPTCURRENCY is the currency dimension in the financial or consolidations cube.

  • Product costing Cycle run for first time to complete backlog

    In my Company we went live in April 2011 and since then we never did settlement of Product costing as process was not stream line , but now (in Aug-2011) it is stream-line and we wanted to do Proper costing Cycle run & settlement too.
    Can you please let me know that how to proceed further, what precautions must be taken and whether we have to do settlement for April till July or directly we can go for settlement of last month July-2011.

    Hi,
    Settlement will be done on period basis in you're case June month is closed and now open periods are July and august.
    so the production orders can be settled collectively in CO88 for July month.
    and for costing run i.e standard cost estimate you need correct BOM and Routing.
    after doing settlement of production orders do costing run.
    it's not mandatory that settlement should be done. even you can run the costing with out settlement.
    costing run will consider the raw material prices ,activity prices sub-contracting price etc..
    after considering the above prices after releasing the costing run it will update the actual price in the material master of the header material.
    for indual material=CK11N and CK24
    Collectively=CK40N
    For the materials with Price indicator V(header materials) settlement is important here no cost estimate.
    settlement of production order will leads to change the price in the material master. so here no Standard cost estimate..only settlement.

  • Why won't new version 4.0 open on my desktop while version3.6.17 works fine. When I check the processes running on the computer the firefox is running but it won't open on the desktop(monitor)

    When I updated firefox from version 3.6.16 to 4.0 the program would not open on the desktop after I double-clicked the short cut on the desk top. I checked the processes running on the computer and it showed firefox running. I followed the short cut to its file and clicked on the executable file with the same result(it won't open). I went back to the previous version and it works fine. What could be the problem?

    Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "shift" while Firefox is starting up. If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]].
    There is also a lot of useful stuff in the [[Firefox crashes]] Knowledge Base article.

  • System Process Running out of Control - Overheating!

    The other day I arrived home and went to check my e mail and found my computer running at full tilt with the fans going all out and the case quite hot.  I thought maybe I had left dashboard open all day as I have done this before with similar results, but this was not the case.  
    I quit all programs and re started and the computer started to run at close to full process.  
    I ran software update and installed the RAW and system update that was available, re started still there.  I ran disk utility to check/repair permissions until they were good.  
    I ran the onyx cleaning set of stuff that clears cashes and histories.  
    When looking at the process monitor it shows the processor running at close to 3/4 but even with programs open in the background it shows them using little to none as expected with the process monitor on top of the list using some processor, but the little color chart below that shows process separated by programs and system show the system process running quite high.  
    Lastly I noted that when I restart and then let the computer sit for a few minutes at the log in screen  the system must be running hard again because the fans come on.  I do not know what is causing this or what next step I should take to remediate it, please help!

    Hi, C Jerome. If your Powerbook were actually overheating, it would put itself to sleep, so you needn't worry that it's in danger of damaging itself. I can understand your interest in calming and quieting it, though.
    First, how full is your hard drive? At least 10% of its capacity or 5GB, whichever is larger, should be free at all times. If you get down to much less than that, the processor and hard drive must work very hard cycling data in and out of virtual memory, and you run a substantial risk of system crashes, hard drive directory corruption and consequent loss of data.
    Do you have disk indexing turned on? Indexing your drive is only useful if you use Find By Content searches (I'm not sure that's what Spotlight calls them, because I don't use Tiger). Indexing can consume an enormous amount of processor cycles and generate a lot of heat, in addition to taking up a significant amount of hard drive space. If you don't need it, turn it off.

  • How to add process model results to the sequence file results?

    After my sequence file runs, I would like to add some additional results using the process model. I need to log my equipment list which is obtained by the process model. Alternatively, I could add a sub-sequence to the end of each of my sequence files for doing this, but that would create maintenance problems if I ever needed to change the way equipment is logged. Does anyone know a way to (1) append process model results to the sequence file results or (2) force each client sequence file to call a sub-sequence before returning to the process model.

    The report and database process model routines expect a single subsequence step result that invoked MainSequence. This result contains the results from the sequence call.
    In TestStand after the process model root sequence call to MainSequence is performed, the property Locals.ResultList[0] is the MainSequence result. The subproperty Locals.ResultList[0].TS.SequenceCall.ResultList contains the results from the steps in MainSequence.
    One option is to create a subsequence call in the process model that logs the equipment info in the results for its steps. The call to the subsequence should not be checked to record results.
    This subsequence would have a parameter called ResultList. The Result type does not exist in the Insert menu, so you can only create the parameter by copying the empty Locals.ResultList and pasting it in the parameters. Then change its type from By Value to By Reference.
    In the setup of the subsequence, add the following steps which do not record results. These steps rename the Locals.ResultList parameter to ResultListOrig, and then create a new Locals.ResultList alias property that really references Parameters.ResultList. This way any additions to the Locals.ResultList really append to the Parameter.ResultList.

    2 Costing of Payment

    Based on response as follows, I am able to verify in GL the costing process accounting lines. However what does the Costing of Payment do and when should it be run. Also in the parameters of 'Costing of Payment' there is a field foe uncleared and cleared payments. Does this need to be run after payroll transactions are cleared in Cash Management? If so how does one view the payroll transactions in Cash Management. Your valueable insights will be much appreciated.

  • Filtering only the Actual cost line items resulted by confirmations in DP91

    Hi,
    I have DIP profile and in that Material Determination Charactersitic is Activity Type.
    In DP91 system is pulling  the following cost line items
    1.ACTUAL cost Line items resulted due to confirmations of operations and in this ACTIVITY TYPE will be there.
    2.ACTUAL cost Line items resulted due to OVERHEAD and in this ACTIVITY type will not be there.
    Since Activity type is not there for the OH line items,its throwing Material Determination Error.
    One option is filter the line items based on Cost element category using exit . But is there is any option in standard way for not considering  the OVERHEAD line items in DP91 RUN.  Pl suggest.

    You'll need to add a Characterisitic to your DIP Profile which allows to to selectively filter the overheads.
    Try the cost element (if its different from the confirmation c/e)

  • OPM Actual Cost Process not selecting all Inventory Movements

    We have completed 27 Move Immediate transactions (TRNI) but only 2 of the transactions appear in the Actual Cost Transactions View so our PMAC cost is not as expected. Those 2 transactions were in Sept '09. All other transactions happened in Apr, May, Jun of 2009. On July 7 the profile option "GMF: Include Inventory Movements in Actual Cost" was changed to YES. Does this mean that the Actual Cost Process will not pick up those move immediate transactions that occured before July 2009?

    Hi Robert
    Yes...exactly, since you have closed all the said periods before u run your Actual cost process, and later you changed your profile option.
    If you want, that all the transactions (TRNI) to be in Actual process as View, Functionally (I mean from front end) it is not possible now, but u can make use of PL/SQL Language by means of technical help then you can open those periods from back end and then do the set up from front end, and then you may able to view those transactions.
    It is purely technical help and require some gud stuff to do this.

    I dont think there is any configuration available at Costing level to skip Quickpay actions to be processed. You can follow the below two workarounds to skip Quickpay actions to be processed.
    Soln I :
    1. Create a Consolidation Set, "Costing Skip Set", and use this consolidation set in the Quickpay screen while running Quickpay. In the Costing concurrent Program, pass the Original consolidation set as a Parameter. This solution might impact all other reports / processes which have Consolidation set is a Parameter.
    2. While running Quickpay provide reduce the Effective Date by 1 (e.g. For January -> pass 30-Jan-<YYYY> instead of 31-Jan-<YYYY>). While running the costing Process pass the Start and End Dates as the Normal Payment Date (e.g. 31-Jan-<YYYY>) and hence only Payroll runs are picked up.

  • Plan costs calculation during results analysis of sales order

    Hi Experts,
    I am in process of implementing sales order costing. I am facing a problem during result analysis with plan costs data.
    We have a sales order for which production order is generated. Cost object is sales order.
    Say, sales order cost estimate which is the plan costs --> is $ 1000 (which includes prod order COGM of $ 600) (So remaining sales and admin costs are $ 400)
    Plan cost of production order is $ 550 (as per production order cost analysis report)
    While calculating the result analysis for sales order, system is calculating the plan costs data as $ 1000 + $ 550 = $ 1550
    As a result, I feel plan costs data during result analysis is over calculated.
    I feel either plan costs should be $ 1000 (as it already includes COGM part)
    or
    $ 950 which is (plan cost of production order $ 550 + sales and admin costs of $ 400)
    Could some one explain me why result analysis shows plan costs data as $ 1500 and if I need to rectify how can I do so.

  • Process runs faster when executed independently, but runs slower when a parallel big process is running

    Hi,
    The issue is,  a process, say "A" is running fine on certain days. On some days there are additional processes running on the server. When these additional processes are running, "Process A" suffers performance issue.
    Interesting point is that, these additional processes were running since long time. But, earlier "Process A" was running fine even when these additional process were running. Suddenly from past 2 or 3 weeks there is performance issue in "Process
    A", when these additional process run.
    Note: Nothing has been modified for the process A.
    Process A is an SQL job which has SSIS Package and stored proc in different steps
    When multiple parallel processes are running, SSIS Package step suffers around 40% increase in execution time, where as stored procs have only 15-20% increase in execution time
    When Process A is executed while no other big processes are running, it's execution time is fine. From past few days, issue is only when, some other big parallel processes are running.
    Currently below is my analysis:
    Since Process A is running fine when it is executed independently, I assume there is no issue in this process.
    Since issue occurs when some other big process is running, when Process A is running, I believe it is DiskIO issue. Will the issue be resolved if RAM size is increased?
    Is there any way to check if RAM is being fully utilized by the server
    Is there any other possibility why there is a sudden dip in performance when parallel processes are running.
    Is there any possibility of having issues in additional processes. Incase if it has some issues, does it impact "Process A"
    Please let me know if you need any further information. Infact I am not able to diagnose what is the actual root cause for the performance issue in "Process A" as nothing has been modified.
    Also it would be very much helpful, if I get any idea on different ways in reaching the actual root cause of this performance issue.

    When a query has a parallel plan, it will in general try to grab all cores up to the maxdop setting, but then it often uses them inefficiently. 
    But in that case, there are better odds for the queries not battling on resources with each other!
    What Josh alludes is to the fact that SQL Server needs to partition the data, so that different partitions are processed on different cores. This partitioning is based on statistics, and the statistics may be out of date or not accurate enough. This may
    result in that the data is not partitioned proportionally, and some threads gets very little data to work with. Thus, these CPUs are still idle, so there may still be room for the two processes to run at full speed. (That is, full speed with the given plan,
    which is not the full speed, had the partitioning been accurate.)
    I mention this because you asked about parallelism, and many systems leave maxdop at its default setting of 0 (which means "go ahead and grab everything!") even though Microsoft recommends you set it to a different number depending on this and
    that.
    Since this is a data warehouse, Raksha should not tamper with "max degrees of parallelism", I think.

    one feature of windows 8 is the refresh that saves libraries,
    because you are using windows 7, you will need to backup all files to another storage device

  • Two processes running at the same time in Lookout

    I have installed Lookout 5.0 with 200 I/O Points onto our server computer. The application of motion control is next to the 200 I/O points through OPC PMAC server/client. Now I would like to have a second process in the same server for trouble shooting and testing without stopping the motion control process. However, this second testing process could have also many I/O points through Serial and USB ports. I assume that the total amount of I/O points of both processes will be greater than 200.I prefer to have independent processes for control and testing because access levels. Can I have these two processes running at the same time when needed?

    From your description you are using a third party OPC server for the motion application. You could have a second Lookout process communicating with the same OPC server with no problems, as long as you do not exceed the number of I/O points your license supports.
    Also, the process you are using for testing obviously could not overwrite datamembers (or registers if you will) that would interfere in the overall application, in other words you can test your application as long as you keep the coherency of the test.
    So the answer would be, yes it is possible, however you are still limited to the number of I/O's your license supports... You may even consider upgrade the number of I/O's you have in your license.
