Cpying / Importing only a few tables structure from one schema to other!

Greetings,
Can any one please suggest me the best method to copy the structure of series of tables from one schema to other in a eased way!
For example:- There is a MC scheama and there are about 1000 tables... and there is a AB schema where I need to copy only structure of 85 selected tables from MC -> AB..
Please suggest!

Hi,
You could use any of the following:
1) Export 85 tables from source to destination
2) Use Data Pump Export with Network_link if you are on 10g
3) Use CTAS (create table as select )
4) Use DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL procedure on the source to create a script
Probably, others would come up with more bright ideas.

Mapping the xsd:any tag from one schema to other in BPEL

I am using soa suite 11g
I have 2 schemas with <xsd:any> tag
at run time the xml based on one xsd can have tags as below in place of xsd:any tag

I can create a DVM to have mapping of attribute id's values 1001 -5001 ,1002-5002 but how to wire/map the any nodes and the attribute id element of one any node to other in XSLT mapper.At design time I am not aware that what all tags can substitute in place of any.
I need to map these two any tags.How to do this in transform activity xslt mapper in BPEL.It does not allow me to directly wire two any tags
Request someone to help me on this.stuck on this for long .

I have figured out that with xpath and copy-of operation I can copy all nodes that come in place of xsd:any from one schema to other .But beofre copying I want to change the attribute values of the node that come in place of xsd:any based on the mapping stored in the DVM.Request some one to please help .

In schema2 , i have only table structure , not any data ..Nothing wrong with exporting the structure. Just use 'ignore=y' on the import. When it tries to do the CREATE TABLE it (the CREATE statement) will fail because the table already exists, but the ignore=y means "ignore failures of CREATE", and it will then proceed to INSERT the data.

The total number of tables is 989:(And how many do you want ? If 988, and if you're on a 10g db, you can use exclude parameter from expdp/impdp?

Importing table data from one schema to another schema

Hi All,
I exported tablerows only of Schema A, and same I am trying to imported in Schema B.
While importing I am getting oracle error "row rejected, Integrity constraint violated
parent key not found".
What I did is I disabled all the constraints through script in Schema B, and imported data. Data imported successfully, but while executing the enabling the constraints script in Schema B constraints are not enabled due to parent and chile relationship problems, even I executed this script many times.
Note:- Schema A and Schema B are same structure, Schema A contains data but
Schema B does not
Can any body have any idea on this?

Revoking User tables privileges from one user to other user thru DBA.

I want to revoke the select privilege from user granted tables to other user from Sys/Dba roled user.
Detail
---------------I have 3 users namely
1.User1 (Role: Normal User)
2.User2 (Role: Normal User)
3.SYS (Role: DBA privileged user)
User1 has created a table called Table1 and grant the select privilege to User2.
Is it possible that sys (DBA privileged user) user can revoke the select privilege of table1 from user2??.

You can not revoke the privileges that were not granted by you or you will hit the error ORA-01927: cannot REVOKE privileges you did not grant.
Even SYS/user with SYSDBA role can not revoke others grants.

Export tables from one database in other.

I want to export the all tables and views (only structure) from remote database in my local database. How can i do the same?
Is ther anyay to export only 5 rows of each table as export of all rows from table will take lot of space..

To find Missing DB Objects from one schema,sid to other schema,sid

Hi Friends..
I have an requirement as bellow...
Recently we migrated from one schema to other ,some of the DB objects are missed while migrating.
After Migration now the schema and SID are Different for newly created schema
while comparing the newly created schema2 with old schema1 found that some of the DB objects are missed.
So i need to find out the difference's from Schema1 to Schema2.
But now schema 2 is having different sid and schema name and to make the changes in schema2 with respect to schema1.
Please let me know how to go ahead with this....

This will not detect objects that have the same name and type, but are different. For example, if both schemas have a table called TABLE_X, the query above will not display TABLE_X, even if the two tables have different rows and/or columns.

Passing internal table from one program to other without using IMPORT

for passing itab from one program to another u can use
IN FIRST PROGRAM WRITE ,
perform pass_data(SECOND_PROGRAM_NAME) using ITAB.
in both the program declare itab with same structure.
if u want to do some changes in that itab and if u want it back in first program then write as
perform pass_data(SECOND_PROGRAM_NAME) using ITAB changing itab.

I want to know how to return the table structure from my web service. Currently i am returning a string array (only one row of data) from my web service and displaying it in the VC. But i want to include the names of the columns as well.
I tried using 2D String[] and HashMap, both didn't work for me.
Any ideas?

I recommend to pass the headers in seperat variables and the data table in a array.
I did something similar, without the header, because they are fixed in my scenario.
This webservice returns a list of all Portal Roles:

Excel issues with importing CSV or HTML table data from URL - Sharepoint? Office365?

We have a client who is having issues importing CSV or HTML table data as one would do using Excel's Web Query import from a reporting application. As the error message provided by Excel is unhelpful I'm reaching out to anyone who can help us begin to
troubleshoot problems affecting what is normal standard Excel functionality. I'd attach the error screenshot, but I can't because my account is not verified....needless to say it says "Microsoft Excel cannot access the file https://www.avantalytics.com/reporting_handler?func=wquery&format=csv&logid=XXXX&key=MD5
Where XXXX is a number and MD5 is an md5 code. The symptoms stated in the error message are:
- the file name or path does not exist
-The file is being used by another program
-The workbook you are trying to save has the same name as a currently open workbook.
None of these symptoms are the case, naturally. The user encountered this with Excel2010, she was then upgraded to Excel2013 and is still experiencing the same issue. The output of this URL in a browser (IE, Chrome, Firefox) is CSV data for the affected
user, so it is not a network connectivity issue. In our testing environment using both Excel2010 or 2013 this file is imported successfully, so we cannot replicate. The main difference I can determine between our test environment and the end-user
is they have a Sharepoint installation and appear to have Office365 as well.
So, my question might more appropriately be for Sharepoint or Office365 folks, but I can't be sure they're a culprit. Given this - does anyone have any knowledge of issues which might cause this with Sharepoint or Office365 integrated with
Excel and/or have suggestions for getting more information from Excel or Windows other than this error message? I've added the domain name as a trusted publisher in IE as I thought that might be the issue, but that hasn't solved anything. As you
can see its already https and there is no authentication or login - the md5 key is the authentication. The certificate for the application endpoint is valid and registered via GoDaddy CA.
I'm at a loss and would love some suggestions on things to check/try.

I suspect it is caused by the difference of web server security settings.
KB: Error message when you use Web query to a secure Web page (HTTPS://) in Excel: "Unable to open"

1.One is by change pointer concept i.e by executing the RBDMIDOC.We can generate the idoc and automatically to the inbound System.
2.By executable program also like bd10 and bd11.

Define the logical system names in both the systems.
Logical system names :SAP001
SAP002
SAP001 FOR 001 CLIENT
SAP002 FOR 002 CLIENT
These two logical system definitions should be present in both the systems.
Assign the logical systems to the client. (in both the systems)
Assign SAP001 to 001 CLIENT
Assign SAP002 to 002 CLIENT
you can See these in transaction SALE.
After this define the rfc DESTINATION IN sm59. (in both the systems)
In 001 client create the RFC destination name SAP002
In the tab log on security, give the user name and password and client of the 002 client and save it.
Similarly do the reverse in the 002 Client.
In 001 client create the port.(Transaction WE21)
Specify the RFC destination name as SAP002.
Now you can define the ports, (both the systems)
Create the partner profile for partner(ie gve logical system name of partner) , so give as SAP002.
partner profile in both the systems.
Now create the distribution model in BD64 and goto edit>model view>distribute.
The same model view will be visible n distributed to the partner system also..which in this case is sap002.
U may trigger the idoc from we19 and chk its status in we05.
