CR in vs 2005 (whatever version that it) - rotate a textobject 180 degrees.

I am sure that this horse has been flogged before ... somewhere ... but I have given up endlessly searching for it.
I need to rotate a report (onto a label, in fact) 180 degrees ... sometimes. The labels have a pre-printed footer and, depending on the label manufacturers, they may be inverted. I cannot trust that the user will be able to create a custom label to suit my needs so I must use a default 4"x2.5" portrate label as my "default" label.
I know that CR only allows limited rotation so how do I mimic a text object rotated 180 degrees?

I have installed MS SQL 2005 Evaluation version(downloaded from microsoft site) on my win2k3 Enterprise Edition I am writing a java application that connects to MS SQL 2005.
I have downloaded the MS SQL 2005 JDBC driver. And i unjarred the

When i am trying to connect, I am getting the following error:

First aid check list for "connection refused":
- Check host name in connect string.
- Check port number in connect string.
- Try numeric IP address of server host in connect string, in case name server is hosed.
- Are there any firewalls between client and server blocking the port.
- Check that the db server is running.
- Check that the db server is listening to the port. On the server, try: "telnet localhost the-port-number". Or "netstat -an", there should be a listening entry for the port. You need to configure the database to accept TCP connections; read the documentation or google.
- Try "telnet server-host-name the-port-number" from the client, to see if firewalls are blocking it.
- If "telnet" fails: try telnet with the numeric ip address.
- If "telnet" fails: does it fail immediately or after an obvious timeout? How long is the timeout?
- Does the server respond to "ping serverhost" or "telnet serverhost" or "ssh serverhost"?

Did you remove Quicktime X?
On a normal install Quicktime 7 is installed in the Utilities folder and Quicktime Pro in the main Applications folder.
You will need to reinstall OS X to get Quicktime X back if you have deleted it.
I notice yor profile says 10.5.8. Quicktime X is only available on 10.6 and above.

I need to upgrade the silverlight version that is deployed with the SCCM 2012 client installation

We have SCCM 2012 SP1 installed and I need to upgrade the version of silverlight that get installed on the client deployement.
The version that is automaticly deployed is 5.1.10411.0 and this one is not compatible with Firefox. When you click on Application Catalog it start the browser but it fails to load because of the silverlight plug-in that is not up to date. The
version that is working fine is the 5.1.20913.0 and it's already installed on my SCCM site server.
So that is why I'm looking to upgrade the silverlight that is installed with the SCCM client.
I know that a simple workarround would be to create a package that would be deployed after the client gets installed, but why not changing the original package at the source instead of installing twice the same software the get the right version!
Is there someone that could point me where I could upgrade this Silverlight prerequirement software version ?

Note that I have not tested either of these and they will not be supported by Microsoft.

I would strongly advise you not to let it sit in the Inbox.
When you see this happening, try right-click on the affected folder, select '''Properties''' then '''Repair Folder'''.
Large folders (actually, a folder in Thunderbird is stored as a file, so it is sensitive to file size limits set by the underlying file system) can be problematic. This is one reason not to let messages collect in one folder. I use Thunderbird's Archive folders so that accumulated mails over several years can happily coexist because they are effectively stored in many small folders. No single mail store folder then exceeds the 2GB or 4GB sizes that have been known to stress the OS. I booted up my computer and opened up my usual shortcuts. I got a message from iTunes that a new version was available and would I like to download it. I clicked on "yes". It took over 1/2 hour to download and now ALL of my songs sound like a skipping record or like they are tripping over themselves. I uninstalled the ITunes and tried reinstalling my old version. I've tried EVERYTHING I could think of to get my old version back but everytime I go through the download process I get a message saying that - the file "iTunes Library.itl "cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes. I was finally able to download a version that will open but it has the same "skipping" problem. How do I stop/fix this or COMPLETELY get rid of this version of iTunes and re-download what I had??? Usually, the exclamation mark tells you that the song was not where the program expected to find it. It may also mean that there was an error with the file itself.
   If you click on the exclamation mark, it may give you a reason. You can also double click the file to make it play. If the file is not found, it will tell you. Just follow the prompts to look for the song again. It will ask you if you want to look for the other missing songs in the same folder. You can do it, but unfortunately, the last few updates have made the program blind to the songs that are there and you sometimes have to do the same process for each song.
   If neither of these help, I would suggest starting from scratch and reinstalling iTunes. I have had to do that before. Do your best to back up the library and such first.
   Sometimes a computer will rename a hard disk (Windows) and all the songs on that disk will be gone to iTunes because it will think it's looking in the right place. It can't recognize that the hard disk or partition has been renamed.
I know that this is a podcast, but the principle is the same. A dialogue box should pop up to tell you just what the problem is.

If you just need it for one site you can use the portable version of Firefox 2 instead. You can install the portable version on a USB key, or if one is not available choose the custom install and install it somewhere on your hard drive. The portable version will not interfere with your current version of Firefox. This is standard for Apple. While there is little official mention of the software support lifespan for equipment, typical support has been about 4-5 years for computers. It strikes me that newer items, especially mobile devices, are not built as sturdily nor do they have the hardware upgrade capabilities required to keep up with newer systems. When we bought an iPhone 4S we were told by the person in the store we'd probably be looking at a newer model in two years. The iPhone 3G could be anywhere from 2 to 4 years old, putting it well into.
As for app availability, Apple typically pulls old software versions from its site when new versions appear. If it is a non-Apple app then I guess it is up to the vendor. It is indeed tiresome but it is not at all unusual. Since I only ever run used Macs, I download current versions even though my computer won't run them, stick them on a hard drive, then I have them when I upgrade to a newer used computer. If you run older equipment you have to learn a different mode of operation to exist with the Apple 'new and innovative' but 'forget about the old' philosophy.

I have a G3 iMac 600 using OSX 10.4.11 which is the latest OS it can support.
iTunes 6.0.1 appears to be the latest version supported by this iMac as I can't get anything newer via Software Update and iTunesX lists a G4 as minimum requirements.

I got the MAX 1-D Interactive to work with my stepper motor. The hardware setup is at the bottom.
I am trying to write a C program in Visual Studio 2010 to control a stepper motor. I found an example program called 1D Straight Line Move.c in
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-Motion\Documentation\Examples\NI-Motion Help\C
I copied the example file and the needed .h, .c and .lib files into a Visual Studio project. I changed the velocity, acceleration, and deceleration to match the values in the MAX 1-D Interactive. The solution builds, but when I run it I get the following error message
Run-Time Check Failure #0 - The value of ESP was not properly saved across a function call. This is usually a result of calling a function declared with one calling convention with a function pointer declared with a different calling convention.

No I am not using Visual C++ MFC. I am using an empty C++ project in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. Although I eventually want to create a .exe file from this project so I'll have change project type.
The motor runs using MAX to control it.
It did run using the 1D Straight Line Move.c project, but it gave me the below errors. That night I unplugged it because the stepper motor gets hot. The next day MAX still moves the motor but the 1D Straight Line Move.c project doesn’t and I still get the errors below.
I am getting two errors: (I was getting the same errors yesterday)
Run-Time Check Failure #2 - Stack around the variable 'errorCode' was corrupted.

I think the errors come from using the functions in flexmotn.h. The functions look like they are being used correctly, but I can't find where they are defined. They are probably defined in FlexMS32.lib.
I attached the files I am using.
I haven’t tried any of the other examples. 1D Straight Line Move.c looks like the simplest and closest to what I want to do.
