CR4E "file not found" while trying to run CR project
The only way I can run the .jsp file which calls my crystal report is by stopping Tomcat6 then right clicking on the .jsp file and clicking "run on server". Of course when I do this none of my other java servlets or .jsp files work.
If I start up Tomcat6 first then all of my other java web projects are fine, but the Crystal Reports project will not work.
Here are the errors:

If you find out a solution or some high lights please let me know.

This problem doesn't ocurred with all jsp's, it seems that only ocurrs
with the jsp's that call EJB's or JavaBean's.
Anyone has encountered with the same problem?
Any idea?
We are using Iplanet Application Server 6.0 SP3 and IPlanetWebServer 4.1

File not found when trying to call a dll on LabVIEW Real Time machine
I have a dll called "DLLRTTEST" that I've written, and have succesfully called on my host machine. I'm now attempting to call this dll from a vi that is located on my real time computer. Currently I get an "Error 7 occurred at Call Library Function Node in DLLRTTEST.vi." message upon execution
In the attached screenshot I'm trying to ensure that the vi I'm running is in fact located on the real time system. I then use a "Check if File or Folder Exists.vi" to confirm that the dll that I'm about to call does exist on the real time system as well. However, I still receive an "error 7 file not found" error from the Call Library Function Node.
Any help is appreciated.

DLL_Call_Screenshot.png 61 KBAs nathand already mentioned, depending on your C toolchain your DLL will depend on other DLLs. Usually the according msvcrtXX.dll that matches your Visual C version, if you use Visual C, other runtime DLLs if you use a different C environment. These runtime DLLs are even necessary if you do not call anything in any of your functions, since the DLL makes various initialization steps when it gets loaded and that references some C runtime functions nevertheless. Compiling and linking the DLL with static C runtime is usually also not a clean solution since the linked in C runtime will then reference Windows APIs that are not available on LabVIEW RT.
Depending on your version of LabVIEW RT you will have some mscvrtxx.dll files in your system directory but it will be an older one than from the latest Visual Studio version. If you can compile your DLL with that Visual Studio version then you should be fine, but could possibly run into new problems if you later upgrade to a newer LabVIEW RT version. Installing the C runtime distributables from newer Visual Studio versions is unfortunately also not a solution, since it references many (undocumented) Windows API functions that are not available in LabVIEW RT.

Error 404: SRVE0190E: File not found when trying to access jsp
I am using RAD (new to web dev) for some reason my app is unable to find .jsp's when they are not in the web content folder. I have a predefined package for my jsp's and when I run my servlet I get
Error 404: SRVE0190E: File not found: /WEB-INF/classes/app/view/search.jsp
now if I amend my URL in the servlet to "/search.jsp" and move the jsp to the web content folder, it works. I just don't understand why it cannot find the file when I put it in the package I created and link to it, but finds it just fine in the webcontent folder. Is there some unwritten rule JSP's MUST be in the webcontent folder? Because when i do that, then I have issues with my image links for the GUI (get red X's for all my images regardless of the fact they are linked properly.) Basically if I put my jsps where I want, look fine in design and preview, but the jsp isnt found when executed, if I move them to the web content folder the images no longer work but the jsps run. I am getting rather frustrated. Any help is appreciated.Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

404 File not Found error trying servlet under https
Hi,
This is the first time that I've had to work with SSL. I have a servlet that worked fine under regular http. I had to implement SSL and run my site over https. When I try to access my servlet under HTTPS, I get the 404 File not found error. Is there something that I need to setup for servlets to run under SSL in apache or server.xml? or Do I need to modify my JSP and Servlet code?
I call my servlet from my JSP on the action method of the form like such:

}I have been told that there is problem with my configuration of Tomcat. I have followed the documentation found at
http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-4.1-doc/ssl-howto.html
and it doesn't work. I have been working on this for a week now and can't seem to get it to work. Can someone please take a look at it and tell me what I am doing wrong? THANKS!
I get "HTTP 404 - File not Found" with the URL https://www.benefitserver.com/FDFServlet
I get "Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request" with the URL https://www.benefitserver.com/servlet/FDFServlet
I've looked at the log files for Apache and I don't see any errors listed. No errors logged in the Tomcat log file either.

Files not found while installing Oracle 9iAS Rel 2 on Win2K
Hello,
When installing Oracle 9iAs Release 9.2.0.1.0 on Windows 2000, the installation pops up windows 'File not found' for a number of files like -
jarfiles.1.4.jar, jarfiles.1.2.jar.
I checked out and the files are not avialable in the installation. The setup disks are proper.
What could be the problem?
Regards,
MandarThe release date has slipped. We've found some issues which must be fixed before we can release on Windows. Hopefully we will have it soon.
I understand that there is a high level of anticipation. I appreciate everyone's patience.
Thanks,

IOException File not found - While using Runtime.exec
Hey All,
I have written a Java application which needs to start up another external application. I have executables for that external application for different platforms (Win32, PPC and Linux). When the Java application is started it detects the OS and starts up the right executable according to the OS. The executable loads up fine on Windows without any problems. But in both Linux and Max OS X I get this exception:
java.io.IOException: java.io.IOException: "/home/vilas/Documents/Project/build/CLISP/linux/lisp.run": not found

If I copy the string (/home/vilas/Documents/Project/build/CLISP/linux/lisp.run) and paste it in a terminal and press enter, the application starts up fine without any problems!! Can you please tell me what could be going wrong?
The following extra information maybe helpfull:
1) I use the exec(String command, String[] envp, File dir) version of exec.
2) The complete format of the command is as follows (one long string):
"/home/vilas/Documents/Project/build/CLISP/linux/lisp.run" -B "/home/vilas/Documents/Project/build/CLISP/linux" -M "/home/vilas/Documents/Project/build/CLISP/linux/lispinit.mem" -i loader.lisp
Thanks in advance for your time and efforts.I found the problem after extensively searing the forums (looking upto page 4 !! of the results). The problem was that I was using quotes to surround the paths in the command. If you copy and paste it in a terminal it will work fine but it does not work with runtime.exec. I am not sure, but I think the reason is that when a terminal is used, some pre-processing of the commands take place before they are passed onto the OS(shell). But while using runtime.exec, that pre-processing is not peformed and therefore some things will not work.
In order to fix the problem, I use quotes only when the OS is windows. In other cases(OS X, Linux) I escape the spaces i.e. replace " " with "\ ".
PS: The executable is a binary compiled from C code. -

ORA-01882:timezone region not found while trying to add ADF-BC Fact in Rule
Hi,
I want to use the SOA component "Oracle Business Rules" in the ADF application.
I created a ADF Application, created relevant VO's. I created a SOA project in the same workspace and tried to add a ADF-BC fact to the Business Rule component.
I configured the -Duser.timezone="+05:30" option for java runtime.
However I still get the timezone not found exception and am unable to add ADF-BC fact to the rule component.
Here is the full stack trace.

ORA-01882: timezone region not found in pivot is it bug
Its a database error, why do you think its a bug with the Pivot table. The same behavior can be observed with WebLogic Server and SQL Developer - so I am not quite sure how this can be pointed back to the pivot table in your opinion. Maybe this here will help you getting to the core of the problem: http://www.jvmhost.com/articles/java-and-timezones

Getting Page not found while trying to read ws-addressing.xsd file in IE
Hi All,
Here I am creating dynamic partner link to call OSB service in my BPEL process. I wan make it dynamic to change run time server address and port numbers. Here I am getting Error (Error occurred reading inline schemas) while creating reference variable as per BPEL cook book. To resolve that exception, I have created /bpel/system/xmllib/ folders in SOA 11g and placed ws-addressing.xsd file. After I am trying to import in BPEL process, still I am getting same Exception.
Even I tried to read ws-addressing.xsd file through IE browser (http://Host:Port/orabpel/xmllib/ws-addressing.xsd) after placing that directory(/bpel/system/xmllib/). My SOA server and everything is running.
Thanks in advance.
mallyPaul,
You can try the suggestion in this thread on the XE forum:

It also shows how to turn on logging in the XE web server. -
I got the above-mentioned error when the application tries to display a JSP
page. Any idea what it could be due to? I'm using iAS.
Christopher LamHi All,
Sorry for the false alarm, I finally found out that this problem is due to
an exception in my bean which was not handled properly, resulting the JSP
does not know what to display. Now it is OK after the bean is corrected.
Thanks anyway.

Files not found when trying to access my music
This has happened several times since I got my first Ipod. Am about to give up on Itunes because of it!!!
I go to access my music and am told that over 95% of all my music has no files, they can't be found?!?!?!?! ***??????
Can ANYONE help??? I emailed Apple/Itunes directly over a month ago....guess what, am still waiting for an answer...There can be a number of causes for not being able to access file form web browser. One, you might be writing to wrong directory. Two, you might not have sufficient privileges to either write to directory or overwrite files already in that directory. From your description, it's the latter of the two, so you need to get a hold of creative cloud support and get file/folder permissions fixed. Good luck.

I am trying to debug the 64 bit application using any cpu. I've tried using x86 also. but still couldn't start the program.
"Debug x64 bit app" What do you mean by that? If you have a project open and you click Debug (F5) and the platform is set to Any CPU then the app will run based upon your bitness.
When do you get this error?
What is your OS bitness?
What type of app is it?
What platform are you using?
Can you at least get to the entry point of your app? Do you have any interop code?
